Missing period! Stuck in limbo

Hi everyone just wanting some advice or experience. Ttc #3 last period was 19.12.2020 so was due on around 20th January. That has come and gone and still nothing. Negative tests obviously. Always been regular have missed the odd one before. Have also been using opks but there still all fairly light so nothing happening on that front. Just feel like I'm stuck in limbo. No ovulation happening up to now and no period. What do people do in this situation?! Just keep DTD? Or is it pointless with negative opks all the time. Soo frustrating. I'm now cd 49 roughly. Confused driving myself mad testing all the time . Why does ttc make us go so crazy??!! Grin

@Skl2021 we DTD every other day in my FW and then everyday when I think I'm ovulating. Have you got a plan this month? I'm not sure about why no cold food...I actually didn't ask, just nodded and agreed 🙈 I'd assume maybe your body works harder to warm yourself up so maybe it's energy your body could be using to ovulate 🤷🏽‍♀️ not sure

@Crazydoglady123 yes I used the clear blue with my 1st pregnancy as they were easier to understand. Hope these cheapies do change or shoe something more I will keep DTD just incase. Are you following a routine? Like DTD every other day/everyday? . What was the reasoning behind only eating hot food? Hope your pains do mean ovulation and not cysts but glad u wil find out more from your appointment. Brilliant news about the IVF clinic if u don't get your bfp!! Things are moving fast.
@Sparkles512 such a relief isn't it when af arrives after not knowing what is happening! Are u tracking ovulation this cycle? Fingers crossed for u 2!

@Skl2021 I think the lines generally build up from what I've seen but I've never used them before. I've just got the clear blue ones so it's either empty circle, flashing smiley, then static smiley when I'm at my peak. Hopefully it won't be long for you! Acupuncture was all good. She's told me to keep my abdomen warm and not to eat cold food, only warm/hot food for the rest of my cycle now. I'm getting a few pains on my right side today which I'm hoping is just my ovary gearing up to ovulate and not more bloody cysts on their way but at least I have a scan Wednesday to check. Also had my ivf clinic confirm I should deffo be able to start treatment on my April cycle which is amazing.

@Sparkles512 what CD are you now?

@Sparkles512 IV heard good things about conceive plus. Glad it sorted af for you. Are you close to ovulation yet?

@skl2021 well AF was over 2 weeks late so I decided to take the Conceive plus ovulation support supplements and AF arrived soon after!
Fingers crossed for this cycle 🤞

@Crazydoglady123 haha my app was too. Kept saying I had a message and then when I came on the thread there was nothing there 😂 I might not be cd 11 as first few days of period were spotting and I was on longer than normal so might be a few days out. My opks are so faint. Will there be a sudden line or thought they were meant to be a gradual build up 🤔 been so long since I used them. I am only using cheapies tho. Did Ur accupuncture go well?

Hey @Skl2021 I'm CD11 too! I got a flashing smiley yesterday and this morning on my OPK's. Just got back from another acupuncture sesh too! Fingers crossed you start to surge too soon 🤞

@Crazydoglady123 yes thats how I felt with my 1st it took over my life. All I could think about and I was constantly down. Worst feeling ever. Your doing a great job your trying everything possible to do it naturally and hey if it doesn't work u have IVF to look forward too. I know it will be hard but you just have to think of the baby at the end of it. 🤞 You won't even need to get to the IVF stage. Try and stay positive sometimes things happen when we least expect or when we give up trying so hard.

@Skl2021 I have to admit I'm finding things the hardest at the minute like I feel totally consumed by it all and can't get it off my mind ☹️ I don't think the Clomid and what it created has helped or whether it's the fact that I feel like this is the final countdown now till the IVF starts but in the two year TTC this past month has felt the hardest

@Crazydoglady123 ohh that's a bit of a let down. Love a good gadget. Yes I tried a number of things with my 1st. Never heard of it before might have to have a look at it. Trying not to get 2 dragged into it yet it's only the 2nd month. Glad u had a better experience this time and hopefully having another before ovulation does the job! Good to see how positive your being and giving yourself every chance possible! It can be really hard at times and stressful 🤪

@Skl2021 tbh no different to the regular ones I used years ago, just syncs to the app on my phone 🙄 I feel so desperate atm to try anything! The acupuncture was actually okay...nothing like I remembered it to be! Have you tried preseed? I've been hearing nothing but really good success stories using it

@Crazydoglady123 how were your fancy tests then 🤣 I did one this morning but it's still early I'm only roughly cd7 just don't want to miss the big o! 🙈 How did your accupuncture go? Never heard of them tablets but hey anything is worth a go isn't it!

@Skl2021 hey! Yep poas this morn and not fertile yet but we DTD Saturday and Sunday and tried out the preseed. It didn't hurt during intercourse but my abdomen felt quite sore after and this morning had some sharp ovary pain driving so not sure what's going on with the cysts atm. Booked in for another acupuncture session Friday (pre ovulation). Also ordered some coenzyme q10 tablets to try too (been reading up 🤓). How are you getting on?

@Sparkles512 if you didn't use OPK's or track BBT maybe you didn't in fact ovulate or ovulate properly then, and are now? Yeah I'd do some more tests and maybe another HPT at the weekend

@crazydoglady123 I think I ovulated around 18th/19th January.
If my last period was 2nd January then I would be around 6 weeks pregnant now so surely it would have been picked up on the test I did last Sunday if I was pregnant?
Maybe I'll do some more OPKS and possibly a pregnancy test later in the week

I did a test on CD37 BFN and currently on CD 44
