Missing period! Stuck in limbo

Hi everyone just wanting some advice or experience. Ttc #3 last period was 19.12.2020 so was due on around 20th January. That has come and gone and still nothing. Negative tests obviously. Always been regular have missed the odd one before. Have also been using opks but there still all fairly light so nothing happening on that front. Just feel like I'm stuck in limbo. No ovulation happening up to now and no period. What do people do in this situation?! Just keep DTD? Or is it pointless with negative opks all the time. Soo frustrating. I'm now cd 49 roughly. Confused driving myself mad testing all the time . Why does ttc make us go so crazy??!! Grin

@skl2021 I've heard of people spotted around ovulation but unfortunately my OPKs are still negative so I doubt it.
Yes I wish it was straightforward!

@Crazydoglady123 sorry to hear that but onwards and upwards to the next cycle I hope u get your bfp before u start IVF. IV got my 🤞 for you 2. Did u say your trying something new this month again? Or am I making that up 🙈 im not to bad. I dtd everyday around ovulation and 2 days after for good luck so can't do anything more than that. I'm having my covid jab in a couple of hours and I'm hoping this doesn't interfere with anything and that's its safe 😶

@Sparkles512 I came on today after 6 days of spotting and I didn't ovulate this month.

@Sparkles512 Hi! I'm not doing to bad I'm currently around 3dpo! So not much to report and to early to start testing 🤣 well I didn't get positive until cd 28 so still time just don't know why u would be spotting? Unless Ur not going to ovulate and starting at?! Bit confusing isn't it. Sorry I can't help 🙈 just keep testing unless af starts?! Why do our bodies like to stress us out 🤣

I'm on CD 23 and not had a Positive OPK yet, and today I've started spotting 🙁

@Crazydoglady123 so they started getting a tiny bit darker Saturday. So we DTD Thursday, sat, Sunday will again tonight probably. How many more days do u think we should 😂🤦 is it usually within 48 hours of positive test or have I made that up 🤔 yes it's just completely not normal for me I always had my period about every 30 ish days. But since ttc it's just gone haywire 😂

@Skl2021 have you DTD 😂 It's obviously why you're having long cycles, because you're ovulating late. See what happens on this one and if not maybe speak to your doctor about it?

@Crazydoglady123 so top one was this morning. 2nd was last night and 3rd one down was yesterday afternoon. I would say the third was the darkest. IV attached a pic of the third one when it was drying. So I presume I would or have ovulated any time today/tomorrow? I just don't understand why it's so late. X

@Skl2021 that's really promising! The won't stay dark even if you was pregnant, they'd still go back light. How many days ago was your darkest test?

@Crazydoglady123 @Sparkles512 so I think I was ovulating 😩🤦😂 surely the test would stay dark if I was pregnant whereas mine got dark then are starting to get light again. Guess I'm heading for a long cycle again as I presumed af would arrive this week. I thought I was done with the tww not starting it again! 🙈🤞 What do u ladies think. The lines are darker irl my phone won't get a good pic. IV attached the pics one is just zooomed in x

CD 19 and not his ovulation yet, hate these long cycles they just drag 😞
I was thinking exactly the same about a Christmas baby it's not ideal.... But I was meant to be born in February but came 8 weeks early at the beginning of December so I guess there's no guarantee!

@Crazydoglady123 yes I did as I also read it can be a sign. I only used a cheapie tho as I don't have any others in. A frer would probably be the best to try. Going to keep taking the opks and see what happens. I also better get busy and DTD incase it is ovulation 🤦🤪 so confusing. Don't want to get my hopes up 😩

@Crazydoglady123 @Sparkles512 just took a ovulation test and it's positive 🤪🤦🤣 wth is happening?! Darkest one IV had this month.. surely I can't be ovulating now?!

@Crazydoglady123 hope af comes soon so you can get onto the next cycle. I will have a look IV never tried anything like that. I suppose I will have to opk the whole of next month aswell to give me an idea if this month was a one off missed ovulation or if I'm actually not ovulating as I didn't take opks first month. I might even miss this next month if af arrives on time as I would be due around Christmas and don't think we want a Christmas baby. But then on the other hand in my head I'm thinking what if its the month! 🤣🤦 Sends u crazy this ttc. I took another test this morning and negative so think that's me officialy out now going to wait for af to show sick of seeing negatives. 😔

@Skl2021 I'm same, cd26. Tiny bit of spotting today so af due very soon (at last!) I'm trying Soy Isoflavones alongside my Clomid next cycle, you should have a read about them as they act like a "natural" Clomid so may help your body ovulate a bit better

@Crazydoglady123 hello 😁 not much tbh. I'm roughly cd 26. Around 14 dpo if I go from my darkest opk. Which wasnt as dark as the control line so don't even know if I ovulated this month. Continued to try opks and all faint. Taken some ic aswell all negative. So think I'm out this month. Surely something would be showing by now. Expecting af within the next few days hopefully unless I have another silly cycle! How are you feeling? Hope your a bit better xx

@Sparkles512 roughly 30 days haven't followed them to the exact day. Just last month threw me a bit never had one that long and praying I don't again 😂 cd 24 today so should expect af in the next week. So should have ovulated well before now if my cycles are back on track. I should be around 11 dpo if I go off my darkest ovulation test. IV took ic and there negative. So don't have much hope this cycle x

Think I'm just having one of those months haha need to just pick myself up and get on with it!
It's very annoying not knowing, I'm just glad I have MN so I don't feel so alone.
Let's hope AF stays away for you 🤞

@Sparkles512 your still early on cycle though arnt you? Still time. I'm roughly cd 22 ovulation tests still not showing anything. So might go from the darkest I had back a few weeks ago. The urge to poas is getting strong but without knowing I ovulated I'm heading for negatives. My mood is changing already and I'm getting period pains. Yes that would be helpful if you could get bloods done might answer some questions for you! That's what's annoying me not knowing if I ovulated. Yes I have fingers crossed for you 2 🤞

@skl2021 yes I am struggling to find when I'm ovulating/If I'm ovulating.
This month I have been taking Conceive plus ovulation support so hopefully that will help.
I have a telephone appointment with the gynecologist at the end of the month so I might ask if they can do some blood tests to check my hormones/see if I'm ovulating.
It's so exhausting! 2 close friends of my husbands have accidentally got their girlfriends pregnant which we are happy for but wishing we could be next.

@Sparkles512 hope u feel better soon. It's so much isn't it. And as much as you try to relax and not stress it's harder saying that than actually doing it. We have been trying to DTD every other day as I don't have a clue still when ovulation is or if it's been and it's exhausting. I'm starting to hate it which isn't good. Why is ttc so stressful 🤦 then people fall pregnant so easy when they don't intend to 🙈
