We are about to start ttc, I am just finishing my last pill packet then its full steam ahead as soon as I start ovulating. This will be baby number 1 for us so I'm excited and nervous to start my ttc journey xx

hi ladies, this is going to sound really strange and a bit gross but for anyone who already has a child, did you ever suffer with constant phlegm in your throat during pregnancy? I’m only 7dpo but for the past few days I’ve had excess saliva and phlegm at the back of my throat that just won’t shift. And I don’t have a cold/flu or sore throat. I know I shouldn’t be symptom spotting but this one is just so apparent right now. I guess I could be coming down with something but I haven’t really left my flat in days as I’ve been wfh during lockdown so that seems unlikely to me? I’m resisting the urge to google as according to the internet everything under the sun can be a pregnancy symptom lol

So, I'm back from my work trip. Didn't ovulate over the weekend, got home this morning to the clear blue digital ovulation kit and thought I'd give it a go, was originally going to start next cycle but thought why not! And a static smiley!! So if we DTD today and tomorrow that'll have me covered? Thank the lord for him working from home 😂🎉

@Fifi1086 you are fab! thank you for reading my lines for me, I'm rubbish at this and to me, because the other line is light i think it's all wrong, annoyed that I missed the flashing smileys though. I hope you get your static soon!!! 🤞🏼🤞🏼

@BWaiting yeah that looks spot on for a static smiley. Lines are quite pale on the cb opk - I'm on day 6 of flashing smiley and this is mine for comparison

To add to my previous post, this was the stick this morning...does this looks normal for a static smiley? It doesn't look dark enough to me? Although I'm not sure what I mean by dark enough!

Morning ladies, I hope you're all well.
I need some advice please, my first month using the CB OPK.
Tested Saturday late morning, and nothing, tested yesterday morning, still nothing, have just tested this morning and I have a static smiley.....is this normal?! Slightly panicking as I'm not sure what to make of it! I was expecting some flashing smileys at some point....

That looks like a very steep drop @laura2093 too much for an implantation dip as it's below your cover line so I'd say it's an early period tbh.

Okay, I'm 8dpo... light cramps this morning and just gone to the toilet, (SORRY TMI!) brown blood on underwear and bright red blood in toilet.. no cramps now... bit early for AF, normally I'm 28 days to the day... HELP 😩

@BWaiting no he doesn't have any children. I would love another one, he would love one so it would be great.
It's just so frustrating all the planning and then nothing each month but fingers crossed xx

@BWaiting so true what you say about being from an asian background, i’m the same and the pressure is real lol despite the fact I only got married last summer!!

@Katierose34 I completely get where you're coming from with the age gap, i did want some age gap as I wanted my son to be more unrepentant but didn't plan for it to be this long but I guess it was out of my control. And I always worry what people will say, coming from an Asian background, if you haven't popped out 4 kids right away you'll always get questions from nosey family members! Haha
I believe everything happens for a reason, does your husband have any children? (Sorry if I'm being nosey) it must be exciting for you both!

@BWaiting sorry to hear for your losses.
For me, I've always wanted an age gap between 9 yo and another baby.
Both older children are at more independent stages in their life and I can have a large part of time with a baby when they are at school, although I never planned for it to be with a new husband! Funny how life turns out.

@Katierose34 hi, don't be worried to ask. I always wonder questions like this.
I'm 33, and have a son who is 9 with my husband. We are TTC again after 2MC since my son.
The age gap bothers me a lot but my MC hit me hard mentally and I found it really hard to want to try again.
But here I am so so impatient to have another now but accepting that it might not happen and if it does, then I'll be very lucky no matter what age gap.

Hi ladies I'm TTC no 2. Been a decade since my 1st. Stopped pill in dec not ovulated yet 😭😭 currently on CD20 its horrible knowing it isn't even going to happen this month. I assumed after having AF I would ovulate as normal hoping my body behaves soon.. Good luck everyone

That's so frustrating, it's hard to be relaxed about it too, as much as we tell ourselves we will!!

@fifi1086 thank you, I have age 12 and 9.we are on 4th month of trying after having the coil removed. Its so frustrating. I really thought this was my month as dtd loads before and over ovulation time but bfn and af arrived yesterday!

Not at all @Katierose34 ! I'm 34, I've an 11 year old with an ex partner and ttc number 2 with my fiancé 😊 on cycle 2 at the min!

I notice there are quite a few ladies similar age to me on this post, I'm 35 and ttc no 3.do you mind me asking what the age difference is between your youngest and now ttc? Also to be really cheeky and ask ttc this time, is it with the same partner or so eone new? Please don't be offended by this or feel you have to answer, the reason I ask is this is my first with my husband but have 2 dc with an ex husband. Thanks

@Fifi1086 😂 exactly what you need on top of TTC stress! at first my husband didn’t understand the difference between my ovulation and pregnancy strips either...he was so confused when I said I got my peak!

My app took three days of high temps to confirm ovulation so maybe yours will too 🙂

@laura2093 no no i mean it looks on point, very consistent temps and a nice shift. My temps fluctuated so much and it took a couple of days for my temps to increase but yours look almost spot on 🙂

@spagino21 oh stop that's so funny!! The worst was last month when I left my opk reader on my dressing table and my 11 year old came in and said "eh mom why is there a pregnancy test on your table" I swear I nearly died! I'd no idea she'd even know what one looked like!!

I'm hoping that if my temp stays up the next two days it'll confirm ovulation 🤞🏻
