Anyone else testing 17th Feb? No sooner!!

I've banned myself from even buying tests yet let alone succumbing to early testing! I need someone to be strong with me and hold out until I'm 2 days late. Anyone with me?!

I had a mmc in December and now ttc no 3.

Af is due tomorrow for me and I’ve got some pregnancy tests. But hidden them in my car so I can’t be tempted to POAS lol Wink I usually start spotting today/tomorrow so I’ll wait until af shows / doesn’t show.

@Flowerchild547 no crazy plans making dinner for my parents (they're in my bubble) and my Mam is planning on bringing wine so I told them it's a non alcoholic event as we've drank enough since Xmas but I'll see how testing goes I can get DH to make me a fake gin if I'm worried. What's your plans?

@Rmd123 that was exactly my thinking! If we test on Sunday then at least we’ll have some distractions for the rest of the day. Do you have any plans for this lockdown Valentine’s?

Morning all I'm 6dpo and definitely chilled by the whole thing I've impressed myself! Not bought any tests and will hopefully continue to wait until I'm late

Hi guys hope it's ok if I join. I'm 3DPO and was going to wait til the 16th but seeing as Sunday is Valentine's Day I think if I get a BFN at least I'll be distracted after it so think I'll do one then. Good luck everyone hope it's good news for us all!!

Oh @whitershadeofpale "at least you know you can get pregnant" really grinds my gears. I've had the same thing said a few times since my MC last year.

That may very well be true, but to me it's not really any consolation. I don't just want to get pregnant, Id quite like the actual baby to come as the result of it.

I’m in the same boat as @Quolla as I had a CP last month and an early MC in November, due to past history I think that I may have a clotting issue but the GP is pretty blasé about the whole thing and just thinks I should be happy I can get pregnant! I’ve started taking aspirin this month and am due on 15th. It’s hard holding off but I don’t feel I can go through it again this month if it’s a CP again.

Going to jump on this thread.
Had implant removed on 15/1 and in our first cycle ttc. Af due 19th Feb (on some app it says earlier though?).
I was trying to be chilled and more of a when it happens it happens but I’ve quickly gone down the rabbit hole. I am going to try to resist symptom spotting but who knows what is going to happen during the tww?!!

Af is due in 3 days for me. I still haven’t got my head around why sometimes you get pregnant and sometimes you dont, even when dtd is perfectly timed etc. It does stress me out!

Oooooh I will join. My period is due around the 15th, although I’ve been charting my BBT this month and I don’t even think I’ve ovulated. I’ve been TTC number 2 for 11 months after a miscarriage. I try and avoid testing and just wait for my period to arrive, I find it harder to deal with a negative test!

Oo sounds good @dollygoo! I've never had implantation bleeding with any of my pregnancies. How many dpo are you? I had an implantation bbt dip last time but no blood.

I just had what looks like implantation blood and the reason I say this is because it looked exactly the same as when I was pregnant with dc1 and plus it's too early for af. Fingers crossed 🤞

We're testing later that week, possibly the weekend if I can hold off. Haven't even bought the tests yet, I can't resist the temptation 😂 good luck everyone

I'm hoping my body is working itself out too.

So many people were like "oh you're more fertile after a MC" (even the bereavement midwife at the hospital) that I think I unconsciously got my hopes up that it would happen quite quickly, so I'm having to temper my expectations because I don't reckon it'll happen that way for us!

Mind you, my cycles were up the spout before the MC so it would be nice if it at least helped them regulate!

I honestly don't think we could have dtd anymore it was exhausting! We did cd9, twice on cd11, 12, 13 (opk peak) and 14. Really don't think we could have tried harder but still, only had one period since mmc so I'm not holding out much hope. I reckon my body needs longer to work itself out.

Hello!

I'll be testing around then too....will be 14DPO on the 17th. My cycles are out of whack and seem to vary from 27ish days to 45ish days Hmm it's impossible to know when my period is 'due' or when I'm likely to ovulate so I'm using ovulation kits each month to try and help with timing things right.

We've been TTC number 2 since Dec/Jan last year. Had a MC at 12 weeks in November so we're back at it again.

I'm not holding out much hope of it working this month though.

Morning! Only 3dpo and totally normal apart from the fact I fell asleep on the sofa at 8pm on Friday and 6.45 last night!! Can't be any science behind it but evidently pretty damn exhausted at the moment.
