Hello!
I’m a mummy to 2 girls ttc our 3rd rainbow baby after a loss last month. I’m officially 4dpo is anyone else in their 2 week wait who can join me?
Might be nice to get to know some other mummies to be to help ease the stress 🥰❤️

I charted with my first. I miss it. I love charts and love analysing the charts. Feel free to share. I haven't done BBT this time round cos I promised hubby I wouldn't get too crazy about ttc. 🙈 little does he know I poas 5 times a day! 😂😂😂

I find with two kids that DTD is tough. We can only do it in the evening and by then we're shattered! It's also become a complete chore! But hopefully it won't be for much longer.

That's similar to us with regards to waiting. We'll go this month and next and then pause for a couple of months. We have SOOOOOO many birthdays between December and March. (Something like 40 between friends/friends kids and family) so unless we're really starting to get obsessive we'll probably take a break for a few months and try again early summer. We've got until the end of the year, then we'll just call it quits and be thankful for our two. Hubby also has an older son. So we do have a pretty full house.

dippyegg32 · 06/02/2021 15:08

Yep! I had my kids at 22 and 26, earlier than planned but hindsight's a great thing Smile

WillowRose1411 · 06/02/2021 15:05

I use fertility friend to chart temps and opks too, it still baffles me each month it’s quite confusing!
I’m 30 dh is 31, you were a mum in your early 20s too then xx

dippyegg32 · 06/02/2021 14:49

I use natural cycles to record bbt temping and opks but that's it. What do you use?

Btw I'm 32 and dh is 40!

WillowRose1411 · 06/02/2021 14:46

Does anyone chart?

@Cakelaur same here with the mini terrorists! My girls are a handful! 😂 37 is still young though really hope you get your bfp soon!
I always question after if we dtd enough and at the right time! I too find it exhausting!
We dtd cd 15 and 16. Got peak opks cd 16 and 17. Really hope this is our month ladies!
If I don’t manage to get pregnant this month or next month we are going to have to pause for a while so I really hope we do!
I’m maid of honour for my sister in June 2022 and her hen do is planned for May and I don’t want to miss out if I have a young baby and can’t leave them for a night. My sister would understand but we are really close and she was an amazing maid of honour for me so we would wait until afterwards if it was t meant to be now. Xx

I really hope we covered our bases but beginning to wonder if we have. We dtd cd9,11(twice), 12, 13 (peak opk) and 14. I can't physically have done more I found it exhausting.

Cakelaur · 06/02/2021 14:01

Sorry for your losses ladies. I suffered an MMC with my first pregnancy and have been lucky enough to go on to have 2 healthy, crazy mini terrorists! So it will happen! And hopefully we can all get our two lines this month! 🤞🏻🤞🏻

I've got no symptoms. 4dpo. And although we DTD on cd12,13&14 (positive opk on the evening of cd13) I feel really deflated about it all. We struggled to get our first one, and then lost it, conceived reasonably quickly with my first boy and then second boy was a complete surprise. He was a wedding night baby!! (Found out I was pregnant 3 weeks after the wedding and my period hadn't even returned!) so I was hoping this one would be a lovely surprise, but no luck yet. This is officially our second month properly trying, but it's my 5th cycle since baby.

My slight worry is I'm gonna be 37 this year and hubby is almost 40, so time is running out cos we don't really want to be having kids much later.

WillowRose1411 · 06/02/2021 12:49

@sickofthisyear totally agree I just want to be pregnant and have a healthy baby at the end. Ha I’m the same focussing on every twinge! The last 2 days I’ve had really sharp twinges on my left side like ovulation pain- I got pain on my left around ovulation too. Headache and extreme fatigue but that’s not unusual for me with 2 kids and 2 jobs to keep me busy 😂

Xx

@sickofthisyear thank you, I'm sorry for your loss too. On our due date we got a special candle, and I asked family to burn one too. They all sent photos and it was really warming to see my family members all remembering our baby and thinking about who they could have been. I really reccomend doing this when your due date comes along. It was such a difficult day and I'd gone into work the next day crying lol...

I hope this month is lucky for us tho! Big hugs x

sickofthisyear · 06/02/2021 11:10

@ttcrainbowbaby1 I meant to reply to your post last night. I'm sorry to hear about your loss, that must have been very difficult. ThanksThe timings and reminders are so hard. I opened an app to start tracking periods again and it popped up that I should be 31 weeks pregnant by now. 😞

sickofthisyear · 06/02/2021 11:05

I was so wanting another girl but after what we went through last year I'm just praying for healthy (if we even get pregnant!).
Anyone want to share unlikely/wishful thinking symptoms even though it's too early at 5DPO? 😁 😂 Mine are congested nose, constipation and a decrease in anxiety- a kind of 'calmness' that I noticed last time. Boobs don't hurt though and CM seems nothing unusual....

dippyegg32 · 06/02/2021 10:13

Exactly same thinking as me @WillowRose1411 I'm soo happy to have girls and would love another but would equally love a son. I know deep down that's my husbands preference though he'd never say so

WillowRose1411 · 06/02/2021 09:59

@Cakelaur wow sounds very busy are you still managing to stay afloat doing deliveries etc? Must be such a worrying uncertain time for small businesses!

Ha my husband probably feels the same with 2 girls and me. The dog is a boy though 😂 I’m completely 50/50 I’d love a boy for my husband and to experience having a son but I also love having girls and would be so happy with another! I think girl names are much easier too!

Xx

Oooh good luck everyone!!!
Yes my two are definitely keeping me busy. Plus this crazy covid world has me running my cake shop because everyone else is furloughed. Not exactly the maternity leave I had planned! 🙈

Any one else sway for a particular sex? We tried the timing thing for a few months and I got way to impatient and ultimately don't care if it's another boy or if it's a girl. Although I would love a little girl so I have someone on my team in the house! 😂😂 I'm so outnumbered it's unreal!

WillowRose1411 · 06/02/2021 08:49

@dippyegg32 mine are 7 and 4, so we both have quite a gap then! And @Delight12 with a 9 year old. Ha I think it’s better not having any in the house but when I have some I end up caving!

@Cakelaur aww your boys are very little hopefully they’ll do a good job of keeping you busy until you can test! The wait is so hard!

@ttcrainbowbaby1 sorry to hear about your loss that must have been really hard. Stay positive lovely

Good luck to everyone keep us all posted xx

@WillowRose1411 oo snap! My girls are 10 and 6, how old are yours? I too a mc in December, a mmc in fact at 7 weeks. I had an ERCP for it. I actually have a follow up with the consultant on the 18th as we wanted to check my cycle has resumed which ironically is the day I was going to test if of course af hasn't appeared before. Last time I got a bfp on 10dpo and became obsessive about it and wasted so much money on additional tests. This time I've got none in the house and refuse to buy any unless af is late... she says Grin

ttcrainbowbaby1 · 05/02/2021 23:01

I'm 5dpo, ovulated on 31st Jan... I'm hoping this is our month but also feel defeated. I'm going to start testing with FRER on 8-9dpo, this month I'm feeling really down, as this time last year we were pregnant with a baby that we ended up losing. The 7th Feb will be exactly 1 year since we found out we were almost 6 weeks pregnant, and then at our scan on the 27th March we found out our baby had passed. Having a really difficult time, ttc our rainbow since April 2020.

Delight12 · 05/02/2021 22:43

I'm currently 5dpo TTC baby number 2 my first is nearly 9 years old, really want to test but know I should wait. Not sure how long I would last though. Baby dust to everyone x

Cakelaur · 05/02/2021 22:26

Meant to add. I have two boys.... 2yrs and 10months.

Cakelaur · 05/02/2021 22:26

Ooh. Me!! 3 dpo and having to find things to take my mind off it already! It's gonna be a LOOOOOOONG week!

WillowRose1411 · 05/02/2021 22:17

Cycle 1 after chemical last month x

WillowRose1411 · 05/02/2021 22:17

@dippyegg32 I have 2 girls and on cycle 1 of ttc too. How old are your girls? Also due af on the 16th! Massive good luck to you!

@Rmd123 let us know if you test 🤞🏼

OP posts:
Rmd123 · 05/02/2021 21:40

@WillowRose1411 I had Peak ClearBlue OPK on day 14 usually my cycles are around 28 days so will try my best to go 11/12 DPO although last time I tested after 8 and was disappointed the AF showed day 11!

@sickofthisyear I'm so sorry to hear about your loss. Keep us all posted in your current TTC journey I hope it happens this month for you, and for everyone!

Baby dust to everyone xx

dippyegg32 · 05/02/2021 19:05
