Hello!
I’m a mummy to 2 girls ttc our 3rd rainbow baby after a loss last month. I’m officially 4dpo is anyone else in their 2 week wait who can join me?
Might be nice to get to know some other mummies to be to help ease the stress 🥰❤️

@KazMumTo2 I’m sorry I didn’t see your messages it skips to the last message and I missed it! 8dpo is still so early to test implantation happens on average around 9dpo and then the hcg needs to build up in your urine enough for a positive so don’t lose hope! Test again in a few days. With my last 2 pregnancies I tested from about 11 or 12dp but have never had a positive before 14dpo. Good luck!

I have a lot of twinges and cramping going on, quite sharp to one side sometimes. And yesterday I had a throbbing sensation as if my uterus was throbbing! And really quite wet down there! I’m only 6dpo!

Chart looks good @WillowRose1411 what's it's moved your ov day to?

@Inthetww I'm so sorry about your losses. I also had to google. Just awful babe.

I'm UK, London.
5dpo today and usually have a 10 day LP, so I'm hoping to hold out until the weekend but we all know that's unlikely! 😂

KazMumTo2 · 07/02/2021 22:16

@dippyegg32 I’m on cd30 and 8dpo (didn’t realise until this cycle that my ovulation was as late as cd21 when I got a static smiley in an OPK) ... just hoping AF doesn’t show up before next weekend and then I’ll test again! May test on Thursday (12dpo) and again on Saturday (14dpo) if AF doesn’t show!!! Fingers crossed!!
I’m in the UK too 😌

WillowRose1411 · 07/02/2021 22:07

@Inthetww meant to say welcome! 😊

@Inthetww I wasn’t sure what a heterotopic pregnancy was and have just goodled it I’m so sorry you went through that. When is af due and when will you test? Do you have any children already?

I guess most of us are most likely UK then. Fingers crossed this is our month lovely 🤞🏼

P s... I'm UK and also work in a special school!

Inthetww · 07/02/2021 21:38

Is it ok for me to join the conversation?
I had the vaccination Friday which was the day we BD 😬
I'm in the TWW and already obsessing! Really want it to be our month.
I had a heterotopic pregnancy last year plus a MC. Absolutely devastating 😢
The wait seems to drag more and more each month.
Hope you all have BFP's 🥰

sickofthisyear · 07/02/2021 21:30

I'm in UK

WillowRose1411 · 07/02/2021 21:16

I’m not a teacher but I have 2 jobs working with special needs children, 1 of them is in a school.
I haven’t really thought about the vaccine and don’t really know enough about it in regards to ttc?
I’m sorry if this is a silly question but where in the world are you all? I just assumed you were all in the UK same as me but not 100% if Mumsnet is accessible from all over xx

I work in healthcare and had the vaccine in Jan despite knowing we would TTC . The RCOG guidelines say it shouldn't pose a risk but manufacturer can't say it's 'safe' as it hasn't been trialled.
From what I've heard and seen about the tragic cases of women in late pregnancy catching COVID I wouldn't risk it. Your GP would be able to talk you through the risks/benefits though to help you made a decision.
For myself I didn't want the added anxiety of catching covid during a pregnancy (and that's even though I had covid in April last yr) 🤦🏼‍♀️

dippyegg32 · 07/02/2021 20:18

Yes I totally get what you mean! I'm day 16, 3dpo, af is due on 16th. What about you?

KazMumTo2 · 07/02/2021 19:33

@dippyegg32 sounds awful but I really hope they offer it to teachers around Easter...buys us some more time! Where abouts in your cycle are u at the moment? X

dippyegg32 · 07/02/2021 19:23

Yes I'm a teacher @KazMumTo2 and the thought has crossed my mind too but I don't think I'll get a bfp this month so will take the vaccine if/when it's offered

KazMumTo2 · 07/02/2021 19:14

Talking about feeling pressure to fall soon...is anyone worried about Covid? I’m a teacher so the unions are hoping we will get access to the vaccine soon but I don’t want to have it incase it affects my chances of having a baby! It would make life so much easier if I fell this month so that there were no questions asked when the time arrived for us teachers! Hubby has also said he won’t have it until after we’ve had another bubs so just feels like we are constantly waiting 😔

KazMumTo2 · 07/02/2021 17:17

I think our dates are very similar :) keep me informed of how you’re doing! Do U have any symptoms? X

KazMumTo2 · 07/02/2021 17:16

I’m in my 2ww! I’m cd30 and 8dpo! The ‘symptoms’ are driving me crazy; heart burn at about 2pm each day, dull ache all day yesterday with slight cramping, vivid dreams, very sore boobs, darkened nipples, back ache, feel a bit ‘run down’ and very strangely have noticed blue fingers (thinking circulation issues)! All of the above could be symptoms of AF or pregnancy 😔 and my circulars have been so erratic since TTC no3 that I’m not sure when I’m ‘due on’ or when to test; did tests Friday and today both negative which I’m hoping is just too soon! Any one in a similar situation? Or positive stories I could hear to keep my spirits up? Or should I just get to grips with the fact I’m prob not pregnant? X

FoxInSocks2 · 07/02/2021 17:10

I'm 5 dpo, due on 16th Feb. I'm hoping not test before next Sunday, ideally I'd wait longer.

WillowRose1411 · 07/02/2021 17:07

I think it’s possible I ovulated on cd 16 or 17 so I’m not sure what to think! I’m still pretty clueless with all this stuff 🙈

sickofthisyear · 07/02/2021 17:02

@WillowRose1411 my app tries to do that also based on length of period. I ignore it and go with the (earlier) date my OPK gave me. 😁

WillowRose1411 · 07/02/2021 12:53

My app changed my ovulation day today so af is due on weds 17th. Hoping to wait until then or longer if I can especially after past chemicals 🤞🏼 But when I have tests in the house I usually give in!

OP posts:
girlmummy25 · 07/02/2021 12:40

Im 8 dpo, wasnt going to test until 10 dpo so hopefully I will stick to that! Im due AF on 12th

dippyegg32 · 07/02/2021 12:13

I'm due on 16th so that's the earliest I'll let myself test. I agree that finding out too soon just adds to the anxiety especially after a mmc. I'm not buying any tests unless my temps stay high until I'm due on.

sickofthisyear · 07/02/2021 12:03

When is everyone thinking of testing?.... I'm hoping to hold out until after AF due (so another week away) but history tells me that's unlikely 🤦🏼‍♀️ I'm going to be so anxious about any new pregnancy I figure the longer I don't know the less time I have to worry! 😁

sickofthisyear · 06/02/2021 21:54

I've just turned 40 and so I'm past worrying about clashes of birthdays! If I catch a good egg that month, they can share a birthday date for all I care 😂 There'll be an 7-8 yr age gap anyway so not so much 'competition'.
I never tried BBT as I'm not a great sleeper and there's no way I'd remember to do it ASAP before I've even had a drink/looked at clock etc. 🤦🏼‍♀️ Just using clear blue OPKs. Only managed DTD twice as only got one day of 'high' fertility then it was peak! 🙈 So at least got those two days.

WillowRose1411 · 06/02/2021 20:19

@Cakelaur I agree it is shattering! And yes morning sex what even is that?! 😂

That’s like us sept-dec we have so many birthdays but I just want it SO badly! I just cannot let go of never being pregnant again or holding a little baby in my arms again. I know 3 children will be hard but I just know I’m not done. Especially as I had children so young (and found it difficult) I feel like I would really ace it this time being older wiser and more experienced 😂

I’ve attached my chart xx
