Anyone else approaching ovulation?

Hello everyone,

Hope it is okay for me to join.

I have irregular cycles according to the Flo app but it's said I'm due to ovulate this weekend - I have no idea if I will or not, I don't tend to get any CM to show me. I have bought some OPKs but to be honest they sound very confusing so might give them a miss! I don't really understand how to use them!

We are ttc baby number 2, only just starting out xx

My relaxed approach didn't last very long.. ordered some opks haha. Am going to track from next cycle. Got period pains this morning so no doubt shes on her way 😔 never realised how much I wanted a 2nd until I stared at a negative test. Grrr. Fingers crossed we get some positives!

@Flowers222 thanks for asking! So I used a cheapy opk yday which had been stark negative all month even when I got the cb peak, and got a positive yday so that reassured me! I think the cb just caught the very beginning of the surge, I'm fairly sure I ovulated this morning due to pains and the amount of EWCM, so haven't had a spike yet but am expecting it tomorrow!

@Arrierttyclock good news on the peak! Yes I think you use the day after peak as 1DPO, as unless you're doing BBT too you probably won't pin point the exact time it happens.

Finally got my static yesterday on day 11! I wasn't going to test anymore as I read you should stop after 10 but after some ladies on another thread said they got their static on day 11 I thought I may as well give it ago and it was!!! So happy I thought I was out this month. DTD Saturday and Sunday. Think my husbands had enough but I'm hoping he can pull through for tonight then I've promised him a break 😂

I'm abit confused though as to when to TWW starts, isit from peak so today's my first day post ov?

Don't count yourself out @Needingsupportplease - only needs to be once at the right time Can't imagine trying to do it with a toddler, it's tiring enough just learning about your cycle let alone having a little person to look after too haha!

@Fifi1086 did you get a temp rise in the end?

I ovulated a week later than expected so only 1/2dpo currently. I am going to resist until the 28th (at least I will attempt to resist 🙈)

@Needingsupportplease you never know, there is always still a chance if AF hasn't arrived, you've still got a few days to go! Fingers crossed for you :)

I'm due on the 20th. Just stupidly did a frer, negative now I feel shit even though I know i shouldn't of even done it. Not even sure i ovulated this month not long been off the pill and not tracking. Resist the urge ladies haha! X

@AIC2015 we can do it i'm just not going to buy any tests then I won't be tempted! I also think it's unlikely I'd get a positive anyway, it's only our first month TTC, so saving my money this time around haha.

Hi All, had a few days offline whilst ticking off the DPO .. on day 6 now so still some way to go.

I've decided i'm definitely not testing until after the 23rd when AF should arrive. Anyone else resisting the temptation with me ?

Im desperate to know because I feel shocking. Im not too bad in the morning but after dinner I have zero energy. I've been breathless folding the washing this afternoon!

Hey everyone, happy Valentine's Day!

I'm 8DPO today and had a really vivid dream that I had a positive pregnancy test. So, like an idiot, I tested - obviously BFN! Trying to prepare myself for AF coming. My luteal phase last month was only 10 days which I've been worrying about, so if she is coming she won't be far away

I'm 6DPO, 8-10 days to AF. Getting some mild cramping feelings, like pms ☹️ wish I knew if it was AF or early preg so I'm not disappointed. Telling myself it's AF so I don't cry when it comes

@missrose0110 I think I may go for Friday? So then I'll know for the weekend if I am or not, that should be ok if I'm due AF on the Monday?

Feel like I'm convincing myself these little twinges are different?! Pretty sure I don't get them this early on?

@Flowers222 thank you for that, that's given me some hope! We have been BDing twice a day last two days and Jesus he's on the verge of hiding when he sees me coming now 😂

@Fifi1086 I tend to get 3 days of peak opks and ovulate on the third day. I got my temp rise today, after my peak on cb on Thursday. So you still might ovulate!

Happy Valentine's Day guys! We usually ignore it in this house but decided to get each other something small because there isn't a whole lot going on to cheer us up these days 😂

I woke up really disappointed, I got my peak on cb opk on Friday at 5 and I had a temp dip yday, and thought I'd get my spike today on bbt but it's exactly the same as yesterday. It's been about 40 hours post peak so I'm assuming I haven't ovulated, so disappointed after finally getting that peak

It's so hard. Im due a week on Tuesday and dp was asking me yesterday if we can test yet. My boobs are killing but that's normal for me from ovulation until AF. I'm really tired but that's the only thing I've noticed.
I usually start getting cramps a week before AF so im hoping they don't start soon.
