Hello everyone,

Just to give some background in October we lost our baby girl at 16 weeks as she was very poorly. Since then me and my husband have had a hole in our hearts and decided to start ttc again this month. I have always fallen quite quickly with my pregnancies but since our loss my periods have changed a lot. I used to have 26 day cycles and now they are 31 days.

So when I got only a faint line at 14DPO I can’t help think that’s a bad sign? I have always had visible lines at 9/10dpo in previous pregnancies. I also wiped tonight and there was light pink streaks in my cm.

Is it likely this is going to be a chemical? I’m so emotional and clutching onto the hope of being pregnant again that my heads all over the place.

Please help ❤️🙏🏻

@Bbf25010320 hoping things go well for you. I just did a cheapie test and got another positive - its sensitivity is less than the FRER so hoping it's a good sign but I'm still spotting brown stringy bits when I wipe (apologies for TMI). So really not sure if it's a chemical or an implantation bleed?

Hello @namechange7567785544 sorry to hear of your loss it’s really an awful grief when you lose a much wanted baby.

Perhaps you ovulated later and the blood was implantation? Did you use a First Response test? I’m sure if I have tested with a normal test it would have been negative & only got a line because they are sensitive.

I this morning had a similar thing, when wiping I had brown/bloody cm! Now I’m ever more anxious that this will end badly :-( xx

Sorry for your loss. Im going through something very similar. I had a miscarriage at 14 weeks a few months ago. I took a test 2 days ago at 14 dpo which was negative and i was very shocked as with my 2 pregnancies i had pain around implantation time and knew i was pregnant! I had that again last week and was convinced i was pregnant so was very shocked to get a negative test at 14dpo! I was supposed to get AF yesterday but didn't and have had a tiny amount of pink in my cm. Still no AF though and don't want to waste another test if its just going to be negative.. I'm now CD 31 and just waiting for AF to arrive.
Your tests definitely have a faint line 🤞 best of luck!

Did a cb digital this morning and got a ‘pregnant 1-2 weeks’! Praying to god that this bean sticks and we have a healthy pregnancy. The faint line is still worrying me but I guess it’s out of my control and just need to be happy I can still conceive! Xxx

Keeping my fingers crossed for you. This is our first month TTC after a MMC in July at 10 weeks. The whole thing is such a rollercoaster. Let me know how you get on too.

Thank you so much for replying @DappledOliveGroves & @recreationalcalpol.

I’m sorry of your loss @recreationalcalpol but congratulations on your current pregnancy. This is my worry with faint at 14DPO that it isn’t going to end well and I’m not sure I will cope after only just coming out of a dark hole from the last loss.

@DappledOliveGroves sorry to hear you are in this horrible limbo too, I really hope it’s good news for us both!!! Keep me posted xx

Hi OP. Didn’t want to read and run. My very faint positive at 14DPO got stronger and stronger but eventually miscarried at 8 weeks. So that wasn’t a good outcome, but it might just be that your cycles are all over the place. You can only wait and see I’m afraid.

I’m now 25 weeks preg with DC2, and have been taking it one day at a time. My mindset is ‘today, I am pregnant. I am not going to worry about tomorrow’.

Good luck!

Hi, so sorry for the loss of your baby, I can't imagine what you're going through.

I wanted to say I'm in a similar position. Have two very faint positives on FRER from yesterday and today (photo attached from yesterday) but now have just started spotting this evening (AF is due this coming Tuesday) so also wondering if it's a chemical or a faulty test or something. It feels like my period is on the way. I'm feeling so down - wish I knew what was going on.
