@sunshineandshowers3
Same we can’t maintain it every day! It gets a bit much after a few days in a row.

Yeah the acupuncture place is literally round the corner so it’s very convenient. My first appointment is on Thursday and I’m really excited 😬

I got carried away googling the other night and started looking in to IVF... genuinely thinking about going to a fertility specialist if this acupuncture doesn’t do the trick as I really would like to know what’s going on! I don’t want to wait another year for the NHS I need some answers.

Have you enjoyed having the normality still going in? Yeah the media make it seem like people are having all this time off but I’m sure it’s not that way at all!

I’ve been working for myself from home for a year now - I was actually just transitioning in to it from an office job when the pandemic started so I’m quite lucky that it’s worked out quite well for me.

Just on the dregs of AF today. Very light one for me too - literally had one heavy day and then barely needed anything the other days but it’s kind of dragged out over 4 days total.

No worries - I think we’re better off on here anyway 😳 if you know what I mean.. x

bubblegeek22 · 02/03/2021 08:46

@MgW1 that makes sense, sending lots of love and hugs xxx

bubblegeek22 · 01/03/2021 21:14

@MgW1 I just wanted to check in and see how you are doing now?xx

sunshineandshowers3 · 01/03/2021 19:55

@MiniBaker Tried to post that on the other thread but it said it had closed πŸ€·β€β™€οΈ xx

sunshineandshowers3 · 01/03/2021 19:54

@MiniBaker I hope DTD every other day is enough...genuinely don’t know how people manage it daily when you’re both working full time! I value sleep and relaxing too much πŸ˜‚.

Do you have to travel far for the acupuncture or is it close to your house?

Yeah hoping he’s okay. He’s one of those annoying people that’s good at everything (unlike me) so I hope there are no problems his end.

I’ve been at school every day - no real change for me. The media annoy me reporting β€˜schools are closed’ we’ve been extremely busy and I’ve had 18 or so out of 30 children in most days.

How’s work for you?

I think I ovulated yesterday so early start of the TWW. Have you finished AF yet? I had another super light period this month πŸ˜” xx

TolkiensFallow · 28/02/2021 20:49

@BubsNumber2inTheMaking good shout, I’m having time out too! Let’s just chill (and work)

RAA852021 · 28/02/2021 17:54

Take care of yourself @BubsNumber2inTheMaking. Wishing you some relaxation along the way

Thx for setting up the march bus @gracie2307. I'll see you over there

I have twinges and bleeding today (Light but brown) sorry if that's TMI). Its Day 18 of my 25 day cycle. and days 8/9 DPO I think. Could be AF or could be implantation bleeding but I feel absolutely normal otherwise.

It's the only time I've ever had the sniff of symptoms...but who knows Trying my best just to carry on and let things go as they will.. I just need to stay away from google! Blush

BubsNumber2inTheMaking · 28/02/2021 11:27

@gracie2307 thanks lovely - you too! I’ll definitely be checking in to see if this is your BFP month! Keeping fingers crossed for you 😘xxx

Hey everyone! I've created a March TTC bus if anyone wants to hop on? Link here: www.mumsnet.com/Talk/conception/4179043-March-2021-TTC-Bus?watched=1 xx

gracie2307 · 28/02/2021 11:11

@BubsNumber2inTheMaking Hey lovely no worries at all wishing you lots of luck with work and hugs! Always here if you need a chat xx

gracie2307 · 28/02/2021 11:10

@Wowthisisreal Once you get the static smiley on CB, ovulation can happen between 24-48 hours once you get the peak smiley I believe so I think you have it covered with the timing πŸ™‚ xx

Wowthisisreal · 28/02/2021 08:58

Hi ladies - does anyone know if when you get the static smile does that count as your O day? Or the day after? Static smile on Friday morning and BD on Friday and Saturday... and had ovulation pains Sat Eve (yesterday). Would that be ok? We had a stressful week so no BD on flashing smiley days (but only started testing on Weds properly). BD on Tuesday.

Not sure I'm a fan of the OPKs - felt way more pressure to BD which didn't help at all. So worried we may have fluffed if this cycle.

BubsNumber2inTheMaking · 28/02/2021 06:48

Hi loves, I've decided I'm going to take a little break from the forum this month - need to focus on my work the next few weeks as lots going on. Wishing you all big fat sticky positives and gorgeous healthy bubbas very soon! 😘 Xxx

@dunkedbiscuit @gracie2307 thank you. I have had a very bad, manipulative relationship previously and can't help but shut down and panic when something happens πŸ˜” feeling better now though πŸ™‚

amyannx · 27/02/2021 15:20

@RAA852021 I'm 4dpo too and time is definitely dragging! I could be 3dpo not to sure how to work it out

RAA852021 · 27/02/2021 11:08

Hi Ladies - Happy Saturday. I'm in the TWW and it is dragging! I'm symptom spotting even though realistically I have zero symptoms and its only 4DPO. Being in lockdown I don't have enough to distract me from all this! OK little moan over Blush... At least the sun has come out! Grin

MiniBaker · 27/02/2021 08:30

@BubsNumber2inTheMaking

The acupuncture I think is just supposed to direct the blood to your uterus / ovaries to improve its function and also acupuncture improves the bloods flow around the body as blockages can build up. So I actually had really warm hands and feet when I had it too.

Yes, I just googled it and it doesn’t sound nice but I just would like an answer so if they will let me have it - I’m willing to give it a try.

I had a blood test to check I’m ovulating - so my hormone hormone levels and any thyroid problems or vitamin deficiencies. But only thing that came back a little low was vitamin D so I take a supplement. Rest was normal. Husband has had SA and it came back normal too. So just trying to find out what it is πŸ€·β€β™€οΈ

What is the internal scan? Is that a hysteroscopy? I’m trying to work out the names for stuff πŸ˜‚

BubsNumber2inTheMaking · 26/02/2021 22:20

@MiniBaker that's interesting that acupuncture gave you a heavier period. What is it supposed to do?
Getting tubes checked was what the fertility nurse mentioned to me but she said it wasn't a very nice procedure...so naturally I immediately googled it. Sounds like it varies quite a lot from person to person but can be quite painful and make you bleed a bit 😬 I'm not quite ready for that yet but if another 4+ months pass with a bfn then I could well be. It's something that would be covered by the NHS so you'd just need to get referred. Have you had all the other standard tests? (Bloods for viruses, thyroid, progesterone, internal scan, semen analysis) xx

MiniBaker · 26/02/2021 21:45

@BubsNumber2inTheMaking
Oh I’m completely with you my period is mostly light and it really annoys me! Only time I had a heavy period was when I had acupuncture and it was like double as heavy.

Was speaking to my mum today (she’s a nurse) and after the unhelpful GP response she said she has asked her colleague and they said the next step was asking about having Fallopian tubes checked as they could be blocked - I might have to do go private though ... πŸ€” not sure?

Just because i’ve not had any MC in the whole time or chemicals or anything not a whiff of a pregnancy.

Anyone know about getting referred for Fallopian tubes checked?

xx

PeanuttyButter · 26/02/2021 20:49

AF here for me too. Roll on the March bus

bubblegeek22 · 26/02/2021 20:30

Sorry AF showed @TolkiensFallow 😞 xx

amyannx · 26/02/2021 10:19

@TolkiensFallow sorry to hear af is here. I'm 3dpo and going to test at the end of next week I feel that if I test and get bfn I don't feel as disappointed x

TolkiensFallow · 26/02/2021 09:50

I’m out. AF is here. 😭

amyannx · 26/02/2021 08:52

@organised5 sorry to hear you have to wait another 2 weeks. Don't want to get your hopes up but I had a similar experience with my first child. I had a bleed at 4 and half weeks went to a&E and had a scan in epu the next day. I could see a sac but it was empty, had the long agonising 2 week wait to go back and went back and saw the baby and heartbeat. They said first scan must of been to early for baby to be seen. Also I used pregnancy test still and the lines kept getting darker so I had a feeling my pregnancy was continuing. Hope everything works out for you x
