Feb Bus 2021 - no more TRYING to conceive, let's blimin do this!

Here we go again girls! 💕 Wishing you all so much baby dust for this cycle! 👶🏼
CD4 for me today, cycle #60000000 at least. 🤦🏼‍♀️ TTC bubs #2 since Jan 2020.
2 miscarriages, umpteen national lockdowns, at least a stone heavier 🙄 Let's do this 💪❤️

Im CD 26 and i did CB this am , when i put the testbin the window and tipped it towards the light i think i have something very faint but could be evap. My cycle is 31 days xx

Question:
So, we bit the bullet & spoke to our doctor about fertility concerns (we're only 7 cycles in but I got worried if we left it the 12th month that we'd get stuck in long waiting lists).
I've had a full blood test already due to some small concerns about elevated thyroid levels (which are normal now) , so she's booking me in for a swab.

Has anyone had this one? I think it tests for chlamydia, but not sure what else?

DH is being referred for SA (hurray!), so we've our fingers crossed the clinic is actually open (doctor wasn't sure, but she was told they were supposed to be open in Feb)

@MgW1 @Dogmum13 I seem to have either a 28 day or 31 day cycle and I'm CD26 so either 2 days or 5 days!

I'm trying to remain calm!! I've never had even an inkling of a line on a FRER

I think its perfectly harmless so I would have it in 2ww. Only reason why they say not after a postive pregnancy test is it can come back abnormal due to hormone and cell changes but as there is a chance you also may not be pregnant I would have it done xx

I'm looking at buying either preseed or the conceive plus applicators. What would everyone recommend? We already have a tube of conceive plus but nothing for the inside if you get me 🤣🤦‍♀️

Hi @gracie2307 - I happened to spot that your AF is due the 15th/16th and so is mine. I feel like I’m going crazy here in the tww. My DP said my boobs looked bigger yesterday and instantly I was like “that must be a sign” 🙈🤪. Why do we do it to ourselves every month?!?

How long have you been ttc for?

Hi @gracie2307 Thanks for your message. I'm alright...just keen to get today's meeting with work over and done with! 😬 Will report back later! A bit of me likes the idea of having no job and just being able to relax and ttc, but the other bit of me knows the reality that we need my salary too, so no job means job hunting! Which is not fun at the best of times...! We shall see what 9:30am brings 😬🤞😬🤞😬🤦🏼‍♀️
How are you getting on? I see you mentioned cramping. Cramps have always been my first symptom in all pregnancies - so keeping fingers tightly crossed for you! God I hope Feb is our month! 🤞🤞🤞xx

@Sar1010 I'm overdue on my smear now due to ttc. I've booked it in twice but found out I'm pregnant so decided not to do it. Two mc later and I'm still blimin not pregnant and no smear! You've reminded me that I need to rebook it though. I try to get an appointment right before AF due so I can do a FRER before it and cancel if pregs. I read a lot of conflicting stuff around whether you should or shouldn't. It's probably fine but as you say, after trying so hard you don't want that to mess it up! I remember being pregnant with my ds when I needed a smear last and they won't do a smear until after pregnancy x

Hey everyone! I was on the jan bus and I’m just jumping on to feb bus to ask a quick question... AF is due next week and I’ve got a smear appointment tomorrow morning. Has anyone had smear in tww?? Google says it should be fine but I’m worried that it might ruin all our hard work this month (and believe it is a a lot of hard work we’ve decided to do every other day this month from CD1 to now!! So much BDing!!)
Anyway let me know your thoughts.

Hi @gracie2307 yes they said everything was normal 🙂 I started spotting yesterday morning, just the once then started again last night and been spotting since, had proper af cramps but not full blown bleeding yet. My cycles are 25-28 days and today is cd29. I was all ready for af but now it's taking so long it's doing my head in 😫

My AF due on 14th. Yes I had oxford and felt ill for a day and then really tired for a day. Heard pfizer is not too bad after 1st jab , tired and sore arm but worse after 2nd jab - with a day or so of mild fever symtoms. But overall absolutely fine with ot and if how i felt was a mold sample of covid then I absolutely dont want it!!!
I dont normally get sore boobs but could be due to pending AF , every month I seem to feel different xx

@MgW1 Never from 2dpo often I get them around 5/6dpo. Ugh this lockdown is dragging! Which jab have you had, Pfizer or Oxford? Did you get any symptoms? I hope this is our month! My AF is due around 15th/16th Feb. Xx

I heard from the hospital over the weekend about my fertility clinic appointment. They told me week before last that all appointments were cancelled until further notice due to covid but then called on Friday to offer me an appointment for the 18th Feb🤗 It's just a telephone call and so probably just a chat about where I'm at, what we've tried, what can we look at further...but it's a start! I'll be on my 2ww then so a good distraction 👌 Will feed back anything useful to this group x

Hey , thats good about day 21 bloods , due you normally get cramps this early? I have had cramps too , feeling positive but honestly can't tell either way. Got my next covid jab booked in so If i am ot preg this month , il take a month out to have the booster .... just want the shops to open now ! Fed up 🙄 xx

Hey @MgW1! Im alright thank you how are you? Im cd24, 4dpo. Feeling TIRED!! So unreal lol. And crampy even since 2dpo on and off. No idea anymore what my body is doing 🤣 Hows things going for you? What dpo are you? Ive done a day 21 blood test kit for progesterone just to see how my levels are doing will keep you posted Xx

@MgW1 hi lovely, I'm 'ok'...still waiting to hear about work 😬 I've got a meeting in for 9:30am tomorrow so should know either way by then 🤞
It's completely distracted me from ttc though! I'm in my FW but have only dtd today, app reckons I'll ov in 3 days. I've started using opks today but I got a different brand to usual and they look crap! So just going to dtd every day this week and hope for the best!
How are you getting on? Are you in your tww now?xx
