@BubsNumber2inTheMaking
Do you dtd every day? My husband will only do every other! Its hard when you work unconventional hours if he is up at 3 am and busy as well. If your due to O in 2 days then dont let it get to you , you can dtd tomorrow , you can afford a day of today. Xxx

BWaiting · 10/02/2021 10:16

@BubsNumber2inTheMaking vent away!! I know how frustrating it can be. They want a baby but really have no idea how much stress it actually is.
I tend not to talk to my husband much about the details of TTC because I don't want to put him off but I sometimes wish he knew what we go through!! I literally made him get out of his work clothes the other morning as he was leaving to DTD as it was my O day and we hadn't done it the two days before. Yes he was 10 minutes late for work but no way did I want to feel any regret when my AF comes.

My advice (not that you have to take it!) is that I wouldn't be pissy with him but try and DTD at some point again? Is there any way you can DTD even tomorrow on O day? That way, like me, you won't regret not having that one more push at it.

I hope you have a lovely day, and you feel better for venting on here. xx

@BubsNumber2inTheMaking I think I am about 12 DPO but not exactly sure

@MgW1 I can see it in person but can't get a photo to pick it up really

I feel so on edge today, yesterday I was really sure it was the start of something and today I feel like all hope has been ripped away

BubsNumber2inTheMaking · 10/02/2021 09:55

Morning ladies, I've come on here for a moan! My husband has really pissed me off this morning and I know I'm being unreasonable but can't snap myself out of the mood I'm now in. πŸ€¦πŸΌβ€β™€οΈπŸ˜‘
Basically I'm due to ovulate tomorrow, have dtd the last 2 mornings before work and it's worked really well. This morning we had the cleaner coming at 8:45 so talked about getting up earlier and getting ds to nursery by 8 so we'd still have time but husband would not stop working! He regularly starts work at 3am as works for local gov which is mental atm due to covid, but is supposed to stop at 7ish to help me with ds so I can get up and get hair/make-up done before work too.
Anyway, he stopped work but then starts playing with ds rather than getting him ready or getting in the shower. He also promises to take him to the park BEFORE nursery. And whilst ds is munching on breakfast, I find hubby back at his desk working rather than getting up. It made me so mad. Here I was, getting myself looking nice, picking out nice underwear/shaving my legs/getting the house tidy ahead of cleaner arriving and he just DOESNT GET IT.
Obviously he ends up being late, doesn't get back from dropping ds off until 8:30am not leaving us enough time to dtd before she arrives. It's made me so mad. I know I'm overreacting but I just feel let down. Sometimes I just feel like this whole frigging ttc bollocks is on my back. He wants a baby, but just doesn't seem to appreciate how much EFFORT I'm putting in...with reading/researching stuff, the supplements, the diet stuff, the fertility clinic stuff, not to mention the preening or the tww angst, or the effect the mc have had on me physically.
Grrrrrrrr! 😑🀬😑🀬
I KNOW he's not the worst husband and does care, and is supportive. I just wish sometimes the man could be the 'vessel' and take on all the stress, and I could just swan up and shoot my load! πŸ€£πŸ€¦πŸΌβ€β™€οΈ

Eugh, that's it. Moan over. Thanks for letting me unload ladies (not that you actually got a choice!)xx

I'm out this month. AF showed up this morning 😭 - longer cycle than usual - for once the app was right!

Onto cycle 8 now 🀷🏻

BubsNumber2inTheMaking · 10/02/2021 09:17

@Tara1711 I think I can see a super faint line. How many DPO are you?x

bubblegeek22 · 10/02/2021 09:09

@Tara1711 I'm not seeing anything 😒

MgW1 · 10/02/2021 09:04

@Tara1711
Take a repeat pic of the bottom one near a window because its easier to see in natural light xx

Tara1711 · 10/02/2021 08:54

Top was yesterday's, bottom is today, what do you think ladies?

Tara1711 · 10/02/2021 08:10

Did another FRER this morning and it's the same as yesterday if not a bit fainter ☹️ going to stop testing for a couple of days and see what happens

sunshineandshowers3 · 10/02/2021 06:40

@gracie2307 I’m completely the same...I didn’t care less about symptoms before ttc. Fortunately I’ve never suffered with painful periods and they’re not particularly long either (which I worry may hurt our chances of conceiving). Only saving grace is that they’ve always been very regular. I won’t test until I’m late. I don’t even have any tests in the house. The crushing disappointment of a BFN is just too much for me. When will you test?

Ah similar ages as well then 😊 we’ve been together 7 years. We were due to get married last Spring but Covid put pay to that. Focused all our attention on renovating our house now and having an extension. Anything to occupy the mind from TTC!

Oh yes 😊let me know and I hope you get on okay. I’ve had my 21 day bloods to check if I’m ovulating and all was fine. DP was meant to have his SA but that got put on hold due to lockdown. Hopefully we hear soon 🀞.

Gosh I hope this is our year - itching to buy a β€˜born in 2021’ babygrow but know I must resist and not be a crazy lady! πŸ€ͺxxx

Dogmum13 · 09/02/2021 21:23

@gracie2307 yes I've been referred for endo in August past. I had a lap 7 years ago but they didn't find anything then. I've got pretty much every symptom this time though.

gracie2307 · 09/02/2021 21:16

Ahh I'm sorry @Dogmum13 have they said anything about tests for endo at your docs? I know it can be quite hard to find in scans, I actually had to go through a laproscopy a few years back. They didn't find anything significant in terms of endo at the time although I did have a few cysts on my ovaries. My friend recently had a lap op last week and they found quite a lot of endo tissue but the lap itself isn't too bad its just day surgery and about a week or so of feeling a bit bruised/sore. Xx

gracie2307 · 09/02/2021 21:11

@sunshineandshowers3 Haha I am the same, I overanalyse every symptom in the 2ww 🀣 Its funny isn't it because I swear I never used to notice things like cramps, sore boobs etc before TTC. Do you know when you will test soon?

Ahh we are similar ages! I am 29, my DH is 28. We have been married for 2 years, been together for 10 years! How long have you and DP been together?

Aw hun I get what you mean its hard when close friends/family are all pregnant at the same time and the disappointment when AF arrives. Hopefully this will be our month and we will have babies for 2021 πŸ™‚πŸ₯°

I've recently taken a day 21 progesterone test to see how my levels are , will let you know how I get on! How about you?

Xx

Dogmum13 · 09/02/2021 20:59

@gracie2307 thanks I'll have a look. I don't know if anything is going to work for me as im certain I have endo but will keep trying anyway

sunshineandshowers3 · 09/02/2021 19:57

@gracie2307 Yes definitely! πŸ‘ I’m going through those annoying few days where I know I could possibly be feeling symptoms by now (I’m 8DPO) so every tinge or slightly different sensation and I convince myself this is the monthπŸ™ˆ when will I learn, eh? πŸ˜‚

We’ve been ttc since May but missed a month due to a very close family bereavement and not DTD at all that month. How old are you? I’m 28 and my DP is 30.

Yes I’m trying to be optimistic (although I can’t lie, I have had a complete meltdown the past few months when AF has shown up). Each month for the past three a close friend has announced she’s pregnant too pretty much bang on AF arriving. DP and I actually have a running joke on who it will be this month!

Have you had any tests done yet? Xx

MgW1 · 09/02/2021 19:57

@gracie2307
My boobs are killing , took my bra off this aft 🀣 but its a bit too early for a positive , apparently implantation on day 8 has the highest success , too early and too late can increase risk of mc and i really dont want another. Think il test again on friday xx are you on day 6 of 2ww? Xx

MgW1 · 09/02/2021 19:53

@Xxdxx2020
Yep your peaking 🀣 probs again tomorrow and then the day after if you have a lighter opk tomoz? If its darker tomorrow then id dtd again on fri πŸ€žπŸ»πŸ‘πŸ»xx

gracie2307 · 09/02/2021 19:52

Hey @Xxdxx2020 My femometer app recommends DTD when you see high levels of LH and when you get your peak until you see it go back down to high/low levels. It sounds like you've covered it so far just DTD on the day you get your peak. Apparently doing BD 2 days before ovulation and the day of ovulation has high success levels of conception xx

gracie2307 · 09/02/2021 19:48

Hey @Dogmum13 thats great news about your progesterone test!! I've done one myself bought a kit online so im hoping to get the results soon for peace of mind. Ahh bless you its frustrating when you feel like AF is on the way and spotting for days I had that a few cycles ago...

Saw your earlier post I do recommend the Pre Seed but I cant find it on Amazon anymore?? It used to be quite cheap there, I think Boots still stock it online but its a few pounds dearer. Xx

gracie2307 · 09/02/2021 19:44

@MgW1 Ooh thats good that you can see a line this morning!! Are you going to test with FRER? Xx

gracie2307 · 09/02/2021 19:41

Yayyy well done on the job @BubsNumber2inTheMaking πŸ‘ πŸ‘ πŸ˜ƒπŸ˜ƒπŸ˜ƒ thats excellent news! You must be relieved!! Hope you have a drink to celebrate xxx

gracie2307 · 09/02/2021 19:39

Hey @sunshineandshowers3 how are you? Ah we are cycle buddies πŸ˜€ haha bless you the 2ww is hard! How many dpo are you? Im cd24 5dpo today keep getting light cramps hoping its a good sign? This is my 7th or 8th cycle of trying now (can't really remember now haha) for baby no 1. How long have you been trying? Nothing has happened for me so far but im ever in hope that the next cycle will be the 'one'. Xx

Xxdxx2020 · 09/02/2021 19:32

@organised5 I used to have 3/4 days spotting before baby #1 was concieved. When I was ttc then I looked into it and I had a short luteal phase of 11 days and I recon the drop in progesterone was causing the spotting. The month before I concieved #1 I had no spotting before af, whether I lengthened out the LP with lifestyle changes or it was a fluke, I'm not sure. But maybe something to look into?

Xxdxx2020 · 09/02/2021 19:27

It is slightly darker than the one I took earlier. I think this is the start of the peak. Here we goooo! How often do you all bd before/during/after peak? We dtd 2 days ago and this morning so far.
