Hello all!! Thought I'd jump in too since I'm on similar cycles to you guys. 11 dpo today and took a first response but nada. Due on on Monday so going to see what happens at the weekend... ZERO symptoms to spot this month... good or bad sign!?

Gamechanger2019 · 28/01/2021 22:38

@HerringGull sorry to hear about your loss too, super sad. to be fair we’re not so maybe a good shout, thanks for the tip, although he might annoy me more 🤦🏻‍♀️🤣. I never thought I’d be the type of person to get frustrated by this so much, but think it’s because it’s so out of our control. Roll on Feb, and wishing you lots of luck. Hope you’re ok xx

HerringGull · 28/01/2021 22:23

Hi @Luz192 welcome - hope this is your month!

@Gamechanger2019 really sorry for your loss. That's very recent; hope you and your DP are taking care of yourselves. Do you think it would help to do the test(s) together? Maybe you already are! I've had a loss too and test with DH now, it is so much easier together xx

Gamechanger2019 · 28/01/2021 21:53

@emilyylouise ha I’m pleased I’m not the only one. Lockdown clearly doesn’t help either at the minute. Ahh it’s so frustrating isn’t it? We must keep the faith!! How long you been trying for?x

emilyylouise · 28/01/2021 21:17

@Gamechanger2019

Sorry for your loss 😓
I had a breakdown tonight because the house was untidy and I had spots on my face.. can't help but think it's AF on her way, currently 9DPO but my cramps are super bad so don't think this is my month 😓

Gamechanger2019 · 28/01/2021 20:51

Hey ladies I’m 9DPO, arghhh and I’m feeling so emosh today 😭 this is my first try since I sadly a MC at 7 weeks earlier this month. I stupidly did a test tonight, thought it might help my head but it hasn’t. Ahhh I’m normally quite upbeat but I think I’m just over this month if you get me. Anyone else feeling similar?

Luz192 · 28/01/2021 20:40

Hi ladies :) Thought I'd post as I have a similar AF date as others - I'm due AF on Weds 3rd and I believe I'm 8 DPO today. No symptoms but I wouldn't expect any this early anyway. I'm really really trying to hold off testing because we first started TTC'ing 12 months ago and seeing the negatives were really a downer.

We took a break after we did some testing and identified male factor issues, and my husband's since had a varicocele treated (3 months ago). So this will be our first time trying again after that... so I'm secretly optimistic because we've actually done something, but at the same time, I'm so used to seeing negatives that I can't quite imagine it being anything else...

Meg87 · 28/01/2021 18:37

Sorry about the negative @peach1234, but like others have said, it's early days!
I think I'm going to struggle waiting until 4th Feb to test, I'm going to want to test if everyone else is! 😀
I just hate the disappointment of a BFN 😣 I think I'd rather find out I'm not pregnant by having AF start in a way.

peach1234 · 28/01/2021 18:06

@Blossom37 @HerringGull thanks both! I know I was ok at the time but a bit gutted now which is so silly. I've got such bad cramps if I'm not pregnant I've got something else wrong!

Blossom37 · 28/01/2021 17:42

@peach1234 oh try not to get to disappointed too quickly I'm trying not to as well since it's still so early!

@HerringGull that's it isn't it with the symptoms? The problem is they are so similar to usual PMS that quite frankly it's hard to distinguish but we are all driving ourselves crazy symptom spotting hoping for the best 🤣

HerringGull · 28/01/2021 12:37

Aw @peach1234 sorry! Don't be too sad yet though - so early. Are you going to hold out til Sunday now do you think?

HerringGull · 28/01/2021 12:36

Yes @hungrycaterpillar12 - a testing buddy!
Don't worry about your lack of symptoms, you're pretty unlikely to have any yet, unless you implanted unusually early. Lots of people have no symptoms until like week 5 or later - I bet it's more common than actually having symptoms, but it's just that people with no symptoms don't talk about them on MN Grin

peach1234 · 28/01/2021 12:34

Just tested and negative, as I knew it would be! Damnit!

hungrycaterpillar12 · 28/01/2021 10:56

Also forgot to mention, my pack of FRER arrived yesterday and tested immediately on a pathetic afternoon wee and obviously got negative Blush so really trying to wait it out now so I don’t waste them.

hungrycaterpillar12 · 28/01/2021 10:46

Planning to do similar to @HerringGull with testing maybe on Sunday but hopefully waiting out until Tuesday/Wednesday.

Symptoms seem to have dipped today, which concerned me slightly, but holding out hope. I find my symptoms worsen at certain times of the day, does anyone else feel that? painful nipples have been the most stand out symptom this cycle, but can occasionally get that with PMS.

Good luck to you all if you test over the next few days!

peach1234 · 28/01/2021 09:56

@HerringGull that makes sense! I guess it's just the fact that if you get a negative you don't 100% believe it until AF comes so it's longer to wait to see if you're late!

Thank you I'll keep you updated. I'm sure it'll be negative as too early!

HerringGull · 28/01/2021 09:48

@peach1234 haha I probably will too Grin Could ask DH what he thinks, but he is a sensible soul and will say 15dpo!
Never really thought about it before, but can't see why a long LP would mean we should test later... wouldn't the egg just implant at the usual time like everyone else, so we should get a BFP at the same time potentially. I guess the downside is if you get a BFN you have to wait more days before AF comes and you can start the next cycle!
Lots of luck to you when you test later xx

peach1234 · 28/01/2021 09:43

Oh really! @HerringGull I didn't know that about the LP! Does that mean we can test earlier or have to wait longer?? Lol
Ahh I know what you mean about evenings. I would definitely try and hold out as long as you can so if you can get to Sunday and not cave then at least you know you have to wait until Tuesday! So you've only really got Sunday to get through! But I know how hard it is I know I'll cave!

HerringGull · 28/01/2021 09:31

@peach1234 yeah it is annoying, but at least we don't have to worry it's too short - that would be worse! I think you're right and Sunday is best. Let us know what you get when you test later today though! :)
I can't decide whether to test on Sunday (12 dpo) with FMU or in the evening on Tuesday/Wednesday, which'll be 14/15 dpo. I want to do it with DH so am limited to those times. I guess the evening on 15 dpo would be the best, but tbh I'm not a fan of evenings because then you have to go to bed feeling sad! So silly!

peach1234 · 28/01/2021 08:47

@HerringGull just read you have a long LP too, mines 16 days this month, so annoying isn't it! I never know when's best to test

peach1234 · 28/01/2021 08:45

@HerringGull I've got some frer coming today and I know I'll 100% test as soon as they come as I have zero will power but if nothing I'll try and wait until Sunday. AF due on 3rd so still ages! 10dpo today. When are you testing do you think? X

HerringGull · 28/01/2021 08:42

@Blossom37 definitely could be too soon, don't worry! Aren't 9 and 10 dpo the two most common days to implant? If that's you then you won't even get a squinter til 11dpo surely ☺️

@peach1234 when you planning to test?

peach1234 · 28/01/2021 07:55

I know it's hard not to isn't it! Stay strong for a couple of days now. The only problem I find with testing first thing is I always end up caving and testing again in the eve lol

Blossom37 · 28/01/2021 07:40

@peach1234 haha oh man that's a weird dream! I had a couple as well a few nights back.

Yeah trying to stay positive but as I tested positive at 9DPO with my first I was tiny bit hopeful 😆

peach1234 · 28/01/2021 07:36

@Blossom37 don't be too disappointed it's still really early!! Try and wait a couple more days and test again 😊

Anyone else having really crazy dreams at the moment? I dreamt I was in prison last night and was doing a pregnancy test but it was really really big and I couldn't hide it lol!
