TWW 1dpo

Saturday I was emotional and irritable, a typical sign for me around a week before period. This morning I have twingesow in my abdomen. Not sure on my exact ov date but surely not implantation twinges now?

I'm also feeling like AF is due to pay a visit, but I'm staying hopeful.
Went to the gym this morning and had no energy. I ended up just walking on the treadmill to use up time. Not sure if that's a good thing or a bad thing. I usually like a good workout before work

AF is due today and feeling the usual symptoms, so I’m pretty sure I’m out this month!

@Sallyjo27 I’m okay I’ve still not tested and not getting the urge like I normally do as I’m trying the “relaxed approach” this month 😂 I’ve not got a good feeling, but last month I had all the symptoms and then AF came so my head plays a lot of tricks on me!

I think I ovulated on the 22nd. DTD on the 21st and a couple of days before that so all looking good.
This is my first month TTC so I'm so nervous and excited. Been feeling nauseous and dizzy but probably all in my head as it's too soon for symptoms. I'm due on the 5th.
Tested yesterday, just incase I ovulated early (and I'm so impatient) got a BFN but going to try again Monday. Got a few cheap tests from Amazon so it's not a huge expense to use them before I'm due.
Can't wait to hear everyone's BFP announcements!

So so incredibly tempted to test today, I'm only 8dpo so it's highly likely I'd get a negative test, so I didn't do it. Going to hold out until the 4th Feb as I will be 13dpo then.

I'm 9dpo now, have been feeling sick the last couple of afternoons but I'm sure it's probably nothing! I'm not going to test until I'm late this month. Luckily I don't have any tests here to tempt me!

Can I join you ladies in the waiting game? I’m 8dpo on cycle 7 (long cycles too!). Not too many symptoms except my boobs are huge and suddenly blue veins popping everywhere which are defo not normally there, and earlier cleaning the bathroom I got really lightheaded and giddy.

I’m just having a glass of red, just in case it’s the last one I can have for a while! I’m not getting excited though, I don’t see why this month would be any different to the others!

@Sallyjo27 I think I'm 6dpo now and have been hovering over the checkout button Amazon for my tests for the last few hours🤣 refuse to have them in my house lol

Right ladies, I need, I'm not sure... A kick up the backside!!
So today I took a mommed pg test and of course it was negative, never used these before but not wasting my first response this early coz af not due until a week Sunday.
This happens every month and iv been having bizarre dreams, sleepless nights the past 4 nights, to hot, to cold in bed.
Then I start to think what if I'm to old for more kids, I was 35 at the end of last year, what if hubby is firing blanks🥺 then swinging between, well I have 2 beautiful ds that my new hubby dotes on so what will be will be. Then I start to think oh I don't want to be too old having another one so at what age do I start using contraception again😔
I'm trying to 'de stress' but it's not working😂

@Katierose34 lol I do that glad I’m not the only one 😂 and I work out when my 12 week scan would be and what events/ birthdays it’ll be round, this time my 12 week scan would be around the time of my partners mums bday, so I would love it to be the one this month so I could get her a scan related gift 😂

Is it normal to get an lh surge then 3 days later to get ewcm?

I know!! I'm like 3/4 DPO and I looked up when my due date would be...10mins later I added tampons onto my weekly shop (whilst hoping I won't need them!) 🙈

@hels301990 ues🙄 it's horrible. I start calculating mat leave and everything each month only to be let down by af and last month for the 1st time ever my af was one day late... I'd convinced myself the preg tests were all wrong then low and behold a day late she arrives!! I was furious 😂

@hels301990 yes! All the time 🤣 I had no idea I'd be like this!

Does anyone else find themselves torn between being really positive and focusing on this month being the BFP month and almost trying to imagine getting your period so you're sort of prepared for the disappointment to...does that even make any sense 3DPO rambles!!

Totally agree with testing after AF is due. After a CP in December, vowed to myself that I wouldn’t ever test early again.

@Islandvgirl I’m gonna try wait and wait until AF is due, my cycles are pretty regular so seems silly to me to waste tests by doing them early when I could just wait! Sick of doing them for AF to come literally MINUTES after doing one 🙄 once I even started AF mid test x

Do people here rate first response tests? I have the cheapie amazon tests knocking around. I'm wondering if they are worth a try?
