When is the earliest you would test?

AF every month 27th
Last AF December 27th
positive ovulation test Jan 15th. DTD 14th & 15th. AF due Jan 27th.
When is the earliest you would test?
I'm definitely not imagining it but have more discharge than usual, stomach always rumbling even while eating. Gas, horrendous low back pain and cramps. Sorry if tmi.
I know alot is common AF signs....but you know how it is when you are hopeful.

Totally get it. I'm going to try to block it out until as close to AF as possible. I'm my own worst enemy and I hate the disappointment.
Praying for all of us and our BFP xxx

@Sesamechick thank you, but this is exaclty my point as to why I won't use a FRER just yet. I would go through so many before AF arrived! I know its still early and some people don't get their bfp until after af was due, but it doesn't stop me being slightly upset when you see a bfn even on an IC.

Hard to tell on my phone (so old!) But i dont see a line, sorry but that doesn't mean in a few days time it wont be a BFP x

This morning's IC with fmu, pretty sure it's a bfn here too! Tried with flash on and off 🙈

You're absolutely right. I think I'm going to do the same and wait till at least Monday!
I'm actually getting myself down thinking that Im imagining all these symptoms and im an idiot for taking so many tests bc of course im not pregnant. Suppose im just prepping myself that its not our month but so upsetting :-/

@Sesamechick I'm ok thanks. DH is out walking the dog and I now know where the FRER's are. I'm having the whole should I shouldn't I debate with myself! I'm going to really try and wait until tomorrow morning, if is bfn today because it wasn't fmu I would be annoyed with myself.

Thanks for asking.... I'm okay but I really am torturing myself going back and forth thinking yes than no etc
I've been having trouble sleeping and so came downstairs at 230 then thought wth I'll take a cheap test which i believe was BFN. I just received my FRER and tempted to do one now but is there a point in middle of the day!? I keep trying to upload pic pf this mornings test but not working. Not sure why
You have alot of willpower waiting till tomorrow! Really praying we all get our BFP xx

@Sesamechick how are you feeling today? I have done a deal with DH that I will use a FRER tomorrow and if that's inconclusive then next one on Wednesday when I would be late for AF.

Can't stop laughing! Hope you're okay and clean now!! Any luck on the tests?
I tested early this morning at 3am! Really struggling to sleep lately. It was a BFN. I dont see anything. I just got my delivery of FRER and so tempted but dont know if a point today?! X

This is only the first month of trying so being realistic that it can't be that easy to conceive in the first month otherwise that is very lucky! That being said, I have had all the symptoms that I had with my first and if anyone even looks at my boobs then I'm hissing at them like a possessed cat!

I ended up taking a (tesco) test last night, even though it was like 8 days too early. I then took it to a new level and opened up the test, so that I could hold the strip up to the night, which then ended up with my hands covered in wee and the remains of the tests littered around me. It was at that point that I realised my weeing on sticks, testing uneccessarily obessession had begun again!

@Ginini that sounds promising though! When I was trying with my first I had just come off the pill and my cycle lengths were here, there and everywhere, so I feel your frustration!

Currently 2 days late for AF (I have had two longer cycles in the past, so not I'm getting my hopes up too much) bfn on day af was due and waiting until tomorrow to test again!
Feel like I have a few symptoms this month I don't normally get! 🤞🏼

Seems like there is quite a few of us due around the same time!
How long have you been ttc?
I really dont know how anyone can have such willpower not to test before AF. It really is an addiction lol
When do you think you'll test?
I (obviously) took a cheap test this morning and BFN.

Hi all! Thought I'd join you girls with your wait if that's okay. Trying for my second and have noticed lots of symptoms in the last week or so (ovulated about 10 days ago and due AF 28th January).

I thought I'd be chilled out this time in terms of testing but already eyeing up the tesco pregnancy tests on my bedroom shelf - I swear they're like crack to women who are TTC!

Big congrats for those who have had their BFPs!

New symptom this afternoon is I feel like someone has punched me in my left boob that's how tender it is. Even if I just brush it with my arm it hurts

Hahahah yes I'm the same!! I have to do (at least) 1 a day! I did this morning and thought I saw a v v v faint line (but then again i have terrible eyesight lol) but nothing that I feel confident about. I buy the cheap sticks from Poundland. 3 tests for £1 so I'll use one of them again tomorrow.
I constantly feel like I'm having a fight with myself because I'm trying to be realistic that i could be having AF symptoms but I'm also trying to be positive. I'm so up and down. I would just love to be able to surprise my husband and kids! X

@Sesamechick I want to say I'll wait until Sunday when I'll be 9dpo but I reckon I'll cave and do another tomorrow morning. I've been trying for four months and have been using expensive tests every time (First response & clearblue), but today I just got a big pack of those really cheap strip ones so it doesn't matter so much. I just find if I don't do one then I can't stop thinking about it all day 🤣 Have you done one yet? I see lots of people online getting BFNs until after 9dpo.

When do you think you'll test next? I dont know why we drive ourselves crazy testing early, but it is impossible not to! Im going to do cheap test tomorrow. Not much else we can do really but wait!

@Sesamechick I'm very late to this conversation but I'm in exactly the same position as you! I think I ovulated on the 15th and AF also due on 27th. I've caved and did a test yesterday and today - both BFNs obviously!

I've had some cramping but I always have that in the week leading up to AF so my hopes are slowly dwindling unfortunately :(

@LividLoving, it’s funny you should say that re IC’s. I got a very faint shadow of a line last night and this morning. I shined my phone torch on it from behind an d then there’s a definite line. I dipped one in water and I couldn’t see a line when I shined with my torch. However, FRER was stark negative and I know they are good/ sensitive so I’m thinking they’re probably indents/ evaps.

I'll wait toll closer to AF to do a frer. Ill stick to the cheap ones now. I wouldn't be able to get FRER till Sunday anyways. To be honest, i would hate for a BFN due to testing early. So disappointing x
