@eloiseislost sending a handhold and a big cuddle.

A meet up one day would be awesome. You’ve all been such a huge support, and I know personally I can say you’ve all given me strength and kindness and I cannot put into words what that has felt like.
Wishing everyone a peaceful nights sleep xx

eloiseislost · 27/01/2021 22:17

You message made me tear up @Oilyoilyoilgob 🥲 Looking forward to this meet up! 😄❤️❤️❤️

@eloiseislost bless you I hope you’re ok? Just breathe and take it a day at a time and test when you feel ready-your body will guide you ☺️
I’m sorry you feel this way and I really do understand-the hope of getting pregnant but the fear.

My husband is fairly up to date with my cycles but in a way I’d rather be two or three weeks late and test without him knowing if I thought I was pg. I think back to the little pack I did with baby bibs and the positive tests. It was such a joyous moment and now I feel scared.

Just think one day hopefully all of us will get our positive that stays around, and imagine the absolutely bloody awesome meet up we’d have. Lots of strong women on this thread, all helping each other and by god I read all your posts praying for you all you get your babies.

Sending love and strength to you all 💚

eloiseislost · 27/01/2021 19:18

@MrsKin90 It's true, 90% get pregnant within 2 year unassisted, even more do with help. And help can be simple medical intervention (baby aspirin, progesterone, heparin, etc) not necessarily invasive procedures like IVF. 🙂 So you'll be fine! 😘
What a great idea to work on the rug, I'm sure it will fill you with warmth and comfort and it will send a clear message to the universe too! 😃

OP posts:
MrsKin90 · 27/01/2021 19:06

@Lori23TTC I didn't know that about 90% of couples get pregnant within two years. That's really helped my head 😊 nice to know it's not just me heading in the 18 month direction but I wish you weren't. I really hope you're going to get your bfp this cycle! We all deserve it so much (if only that's how they were dished out!).

Thanks so much everyone ❤️❤️ you've all really helped pick me back up. I will hide the pregnancy ones and hope for a miracle. I'd be totally lost without you all and potentially crying in the bath with a bottle of wine! Instead I'm going to sit and work on my baby room rug! @rs2015 I started a 'rug pull kit' when we started TTC but have refused to finish it as it made me too sad as months dragged on. I'm going to finish it, you've inspired me to try to enjoy it again.

Lots of you are coming up the most exciting points in your cycles, I can't wait to see some BFPs! Xx

rs2015 · 27/01/2021 18:02

@eloiseislost thank you, the idea popped into my head one day so I watched YouTube video to get me started on a patchwork quilt. I defo agree lockdown is the time to start a new hobby x

eloiseislost · 27/01/2021 17:55

@rs2015 That's such a lovely thing to do, I wish I knew how to sew! Well, we're in lockdown, a new hobby might be just what I need! 🪡

OP posts:
rs2015 · 27/01/2021 17:31

@MrsKin90 like others have said, put them to one side and they WILL come in handy! If it makes you feel better I've started sewing a baby blanket to keep up my hopes up and my mind off the tww x

@eloiseislost those OPK look very promising, especially the last one! Fingers crossed for you x

eloiseislost · 27/01/2021 17:26

Thank you @Oilyoilyoilgob, I so appreciate being understood in this thread, it makes a world of difference! ❤️ And I'm really sorry for your loss, I know the pain, nothing prepares you for it, no matter how early. 😔
My RHR is still up today, I've done two more OPKs this morning and this afternoon and the last one is definitely a positive and no sign of AF… I should be taking an HPT but instead I feel totally numb, scared and panicked. I am waiting for DH to finish work and have a nice meal together, hopefully that will comfort me a bit.

@MrsKin90 ❤️❤️❤️. That made me feel emotional reading that. It’s so bloody hard and cruel TTC. I agree put the pills away and just know that one way or another you will be in need of them soon xxx

Oilyoilyoilgob · 27/01/2021 16:53

@eloiseislost good luck and I hope this is your month 🤞🏻 Totally get you on not wanting to test. When I tested I KNEW I was pregnant from such early symptoms and genuinely wasn’t shocked, just felt in a lovely baby bubble. For that to end in an early mc......it now means I feel trepidation as I don’t want that to happen again 😔 I now have my little bubble with my eyes shut and fingers in my ears trying to not think about it! I’m wishing you a whole heap of luck for a bfp, what a way to start the year that would be!

@MrsKin90 I’m sorry to hear you’ve been upset, I hope you’re ok? I’m positive that you will need them one day, and that’s why your gut instinct told you to buy them ☺️

@Lori23TTC that sounds promising on hopeful implantation bleeding and I will keep my fingers firmly crossed for you 🤞🏻

I’m cd28 today, cycles last two months have been 31 days so due to start anywhere in the next 3-6 days. My cervical mucus has been absolutely crazy this last week, but as above I have fingers in my ears ignoring any possible symptom spotting as I do not want to let myself down. I’m hoping for the best xx

eloiseislost · 27/01/2021 16:14

@Lori23TTC I agree with MrsKin, there's not much scientific evidence about what RHR does during our cycles -like there is for BBT for example. However, I have personally found that it does change predictably at certain points, like during fertile window and day of ovulation and before AF. But you need to have a few months of data in to draw any conclusions. It's worth keeping an eye on if you're curious but be careful not to add more stress to TTC! I speak from experience!! 😁

@MrsKin90 I'm so sorry about the vitamins, I know how you feel. 😔 And it might not be a huge source of comfort, but statistically speaking you are more likely to need them than not. TTC is literally a marathon, it's more about endurance, tenacity and resilience. The ones who are left standing, almost always get to go home with a baby. 🤗 So just keep trying, as cruel as this may sound on days when you struggle. Sending a virtual hug! ❤️

@eloiseislost and @MrsKin90 thank you for the info on LH surges! I had no idea there could be a second surge... jeezz you learn a new thing everyday!

@Lori23TTC spotting sounds really promising! Will keep everything crossed.

@MrsKin I'm so sorry the vitamins upset you today. Some days it is hard to feel positive and I agree with @lori to put them all away for now. You will get to use them very soon I am so sure of it Flowers

Nothing exciting to report from me- I'm 7/8dpo today- no symptoms aside from my usual weird tender right boob and nip. Nothing doing on the left hand side Grin I have felt really tried the last 48 hours but think that's a bug I'm coming down with and also working from home and endless screen time hasn't done much for my energy levels generally.

Lori23TTC · 27/01/2021 15:36

@MrsKin90 oh please don’t feel upset... you have covered both bases by getting both lots of tablets. I know you and I have been trying the same length of time (coming up to 18 months) I really feel like our time is soon it has to be! Something silly like 90% of couples conceive within the first 2 years! Please try and stay positive-put both sets of tablets away so you can’t see them. I really wish you a BFP soon. Maybe you are just having a not as positive day today as that’s ok, you will get to use those tablets one day I’m sure of it x

MrsKin90 · 27/01/2021 15:00

I've done something ridiculous and I've upset myself 🥺😳 I ordered two packs of seven seas TTC tablets to "tempt sods law" into giving me a bfp and they arrived just now, but because it was 3 for 2 I also bought a pregnacare pregnancy vitamin pack, thinking that might tempt fate further... But all it's done is made me cry as I don't know if I'll ever get to use them. Why did I think it was a good idea at the time?! I was obviously feeling very bloody positive that day. What an idiot 😳

MrsKin90 · 27/01/2021 14:57

@Lori23TTC at 10dpo I'd say it's not a good or bad sign at this stage. It helps to have previous month's to compare it to and it's a much bigger increase than I get! I'd like to hope it's a good sign for you 😊🤞
Mine usually comes down very drastically the day AF is due. If it doesn't come down the day AF is due, or goes up higher than it ever has before, or takes any huge leaps up, I get very excited!

Lori23TTC · 27/01/2021 14:31

Oh and RHR mine as I said before is normally 58/59 but after I ovulated this went to 61/62 and today it’s 65! Is this a good thing?? First month I’ve tracked RHR x

Lori23TTC · 27/01/2021 11:14

@eloiseislost I understand your logic around not wanting to ‘take a proper test’ you need to do what makes you feel the best. I’ve never been pregnant or had any kind of line on a pregnancy test but I can imagine the anxiety around ttc after a MC is pretty hard. Try to relax and like you said you are due AF soon so leave it a few days and you will have a better idea.

@ComebackQueen I get the frustration around ovulation-I’m not 100% when I ovulated either and it’s so annoying! Wish there was a switch in our brains that could stop thinking about ttc in all the in between bits where we are just waiting! X

ComebackQueen · 27/01/2021 10:32

@eloiseislost no don’t feel bad, by seeing your post it at least got me to start using them.
I definitely ovulated 3 days ago now as I also am feeling how I would now post ovulation no symptoms at all until AF.

@MrsKin90 thanks I’ll be sure to vent I’m now doubting the acupuncturist lol

eloiseislost · 27/01/2021 10:15

Also @ComebackQueen I am sorry if my latest, stupid obsession with using OPKs after ovulation has influenced you to go down that road and get all upset and confused, I can't help but feel bad! 😔 😘

OP posts:
eloiseislost · 27/01/2021 10:13

@Lori23TTC @MrsKin90 I don't know if I want to do an HPT to be honest… 🙈 After getting a BFP that ended in MC shortly after, I kind of want to see how this plays out instead of finding out early. It's such an odd feeling, I can't quite explain it. I'm fine doing HPTs on 6-9DPO but I think that's because I know they'll be negative. And now that I'm far enough in the 2WW that there is a possibility that I would get a BFP, I'm like "Nooooope". I prefer to pee on OPKs, because they satisfy my POAS addiction but will not give me any real answers. Am I going completely crazy here ladies? 🤪
I wouldn't be surprised if AF showed up today anyway, I feel very PMS-y.

@ComebackQueen I completely understand how you must feel, it's very stressful trying to get the dates right and sometimes we think we did only for our bodies to do something totally unpredictable and ruin everything!!
HOWEVER! I wouldn't be too concerned based on the OPK. I was confused with all this at first too, but basically the LH hormone is always present in our bodies. It's not like the pregnancy hormone which is exclusive to pregnancy and we don't produce it any other time. This is why OPK almost always have a second line, unlike pregnancy tests. Only if the line is just as dark or darker than the control, it indicates that your body is trying to ovulate. Based on your line, I think you probably ovulated 2-3 days ago, nicely lined up with your other symptoms, like you said. 🙂

OP posts:
MrsKin90 · 27/01/2021 09:34

@ComebackQueen you really can have certain amounts of LH through your TWW, so don't count yourself out completely. And speaking as someone who could be in any one of three places in my tww, you don't need to apologise for messing anyone around. When did you last SI? 😊 Of course you can "sit this one out" but you're also welcome to complain frequently about how lost you are with your cycle, it'll make me feel like I'm not the only one!

ComebackQueen · 27/01/2021 09:31

Or I’ve just ovulated in the last two to three days which would be consistent with my symptoms.

ComebackQueen · 27/01/2021 09:30

Hi ladies

I wanted to copy @eloiseislost and decided to pee on some OPKs I got yesterday whilst shopping from Asda. I’m 9 ‘Post ovulation’, cycle day 29 and got this. Therefore, I think I haven’t ovulated and my bloating and other issues are because I haven’t even ovulated yet. This will then be consistent with my old 45 day cycles BlushHmm

This makes total sense because usually a few days before my period I get dry as in no discharge but I’ve been having some yellow tinged discharged and I’m worried I have an infection again so I’m going to call my GP.

I feel like I’ve messed myself and you lovely ladies around and SI’ed totally on a wrong day.

I think I’ll sit this cycle out and just note OPK testing and then next cycle hope for a miracle.

I’m a little gutted tbh. Oh and excuse the dust on the sill - was trying to not get the shadow in it but didn’t work lol.

MrsKin90 · 27/01/2021 09:26

@eloiseislost I've stopped temping as my sleep has been so awful and I know I ovulated but it's not going to tell me when any more than what I have already, so haven't bothered! My RHR only went up by 1 today but only got four hours sleep😴 so who knows what it would have done had I slept well! Your BBT sounds very exciting. Can't believe you didn't give in and do a pregnancy test 😱 😁

@Lori23TTC I'm sorry for your BFN too but as you said you're still early - interesting about the spotting!! Hopefully that's a really good sign for you 🤞 if AF isn't due until the weekend there's still plenty of time for a bfp to appear 😊

FF, with the dodgy information I put into it suggests I'm 13dpo but I'd be spotting by now if I was so I'm thinking I'm probably 9dpo today and will work with that until I get to 14dpo. If no spotting by then, I'll test. If BFN and no AF I'll assume I ovulated 7 days ago, and put myself back by two days 😂 at least I have a plan and feel like all dates are covered with swimmers.
