Congratulations @eloiseislost so so happy for you!! You are always so kind, helpful and understanding to everyone on this thread. You so deserve this 🥰 xx

rs2015 · 29/01/2021 10:23

@eloiseislost that's amazing news! So pleased for you 🥳🥳

Oilyoilyoilgob · 29/01/2021 10:17

Oh wow @eloiseislost is was hoping to see this! Many many congratulations and I agree with @MrsKin90 if that’s not your first morning wee that actually a good line. Yaaaaay!

Hi @Lori23TTC wishing you lots of luck for if you do a test xx

Had an awful nights sleep too, mad dreams and my lovely cat waking me at 2.40am for a pouch even though she had a fresh one downstairs. Have a tax return to finish today, pray for me!

Good luck to all in the tww and let’s hope for no AF xx

eloiseislost · 29/01/2021 10:17

@Bizawit Thank you! ❤️
I used soft discs exclusively this month and we SI 5 days in a row, 3 before ovulation, the day of ovulation and the day after.
We started TTC in September, we used syringes for the first 2 cycles and we were unsuccessful, then switched to soft discs and got pregnant, miscarried, tried syringes right after the MC and unsuccessful, then switched to soft discs again this cycle and pregnant again. So I am a total believer in soft discs because they seem to work for us every time. Although this could all just be a coincidence! 🤷🏻‍♀️

Bizawit · 29/01/2021 10:10

Also I think that’s a great line for 14dpo (those rapid response aren’t the most sensitive) and line came up on digital too xx

Bizawit · 29/01/2021 10:09

@eloiseislost can I ask, did you use the cups or the syringe this month?

eloiseislost · 29/01/2021 10:08

@Lori23TTC Thanks! 😘
12DPO is a good day to test but if you can wait, the results will be more and more reliable as time goes on. 🤞🏼

@MrsKin90 Thank you! ❤️ 500 wees and that's with only drinking one cup of decaff since I woke up at 6am! 😯 Left for work at 8, had about an hour drive to the office, manage to wait for a further half an hour almost in tears from feeling close to bursting! I hope this is why the line is faint, though it brings back memories from the previous one… 😔 I also don't have any symptoms really, my boobs are not even sore!
I guess it's a waiting game now, hoping for a 2-3 weeks result next week!

@eloiseislost aww congratulations amazing news!!! 😍😍

Bluey18 · 29/01/2021 10:03

@eloiseislost Congratulations! What fabulous news 😊. Sending lots of positive thoughts for a sticky bean 💕

Lori23TTC · 29/01/2021 09:59

@eloiseislost yay congratulations this is amazing news! 🥰

@MrsKin90 well I hope the RHR stays up then 😬 that’s good you are feeling ok - our bodies are so odd but I would say that’s a good thing as it’s different to your norm?!

I can’t decide when to do a test I’m DPO12 today - maybe over the weekend xx

MrsKin90 · 29/01/2021 09:54

@eloiseislost hooray!!! 😊🥰 If it's your 500th wee of the day I think it's quite a strong line 😂

eloiseislost · 29/01/2021 09:50

Hello lovely ladies! I'm sure nobody will be surprised, but I caved in and tested with a CB double check combo pack.
14DPO, not FMU, it might be the 5th or 6th pee of the day already as I can't stop weeing! 1½ hour hold only, it was all I could manage.
I already knew but it's nice to have confirmation. Not getting excited as the line is quite faint. But here it is, now we know!
I don't know if I'll tell DH yet, I have two more CB with weeks at home, maybe I will if I see 2-3 next week. 🤞🏼

@Sydney1986x with normal menstrual cups (so not the one you're using) I run my finger around the outside edge of the cup when it's inside (as much as possible obviously) to help it "unfold"? I don't think these things actually 'pop' open. Just a thought 😊 well done getting into SI. Can you contact clear blue re. The monitor? They're so expensive I'd be complaining.

@Lori23TTC it's exciting that yours has gone up one! 😊 Sorry you didn't sleep well either. I feel... Absolutely fine 😆 no cramps, no CM, no boob pain, no heart burn or nausea - all of which I frequently get in the TWW and when my period is due. No spotting either so that's positive. I'm trying not to feel overly excited by my heart rate throughout the day but it's never happened before - not even after my flu jab. Queue severe disappointment I guess! I hope your cramps aren't AF. If AF was coming you'd almost definitely see a drop in your RHR as that seems to be the only consistent factor for everyone 😊🤞

rs2015 · 29/01/2021 09:09

@Sydney1986x I had issues with the ferti-lily and gave up, so difficult to put in!

Sydney1986x · 29/01/2021 08:53

Morning everyone,

Just catching up on reading this thread. Hope everyone is doing ok. Started SI again 2 days ago, my bloody clear blue ovulation kit seems broken- keeps showing the reading manual 🙄.. luckily I have cheapies left so will try those too. I don’t know if it’s just me but I can’t seem to use the ferti-lily properly, I’ve followed the instructions to the letter but no it feels painful to put in and doesn’t ‘pop’ like an umbrella as suggested.

Wishing baby dust for all of those in their 2WW x

Lori23TTC · 29/01/2021 08:33

Morning @MrsKin90 I also didn’t have a very good night sleep either - my RHR has gone up 1 to 66, I do feel like AF is coming tho as my boobs aren’t as sore today and I’m getting the normal AF cramps... I couldn’t stop thinking about ttc last night which is why I think I struggled to sleep to.
I like the idea it is spelling out mum that’s really cute 🥰 how are you feeling other than lack of sleep? It could be the vaccine that’s caused it to dip and not be completely accurate? Xx

MrsKin90 · 29/01/2021 08:20

Good morning ladies 😊 it's a fresh day!

My RHR has dipped by one. I'm half hoping it's trying to spell out the letter M for Mum? 😂 I'm it definitely seems to only take into account your sleeping heart rate as I had another shocking nights sleep (only three hours! Couldn't stop thinking about babies 🥺) And I was in the 70-80s+ all day yesterday so expected a huge lift today. Nope. It's 82 now whilst I'm sat here typing this, so how 67 can be my resting heart rate is beyond me. I've worked out I think Fitbit uses an average of the rates throughout the night. I did wonder if my heart rate is as a consequence of the vaccine but can't find anyone else reporting the same!
Here's my chart, one dip away from the first, slightly wonky, 'M'! 😁

Oilyoilyoilgob · 28/01/2021 19:23

And @MrsKin90 good for you for telling people you are ttc. Hopefully once they’ve been told it’ll shut them up-do it like @eloiseislost and do a sad face to shame them! Nosey buggers I hate it.

I’ve never asked anyone personal questions about engagements/marriages/babies-there can be so much going on behind the scenes. I wish people would think, but it’s often the ones that have the luck of quickly getting pregnant that ask and I think just simply do not realise how hard ttc can be for lots of people xx

Oilyoilyoilgob · 28/01/2021 19:18

Ooh ladies you are all very kind but I can assure you I’m deffo FAT 😂 I’d love to say all this walking has made me a toned 11st 1lb gazelle but my thighs and stomach say otherwise! The GP didn’t say anything to me but I’d really like to get down to a healthy range, hate seeing my lower belly and thighs when I go for a wee 😳

I’m laughing at all your ‘between me down there’ stories! I’m not as bothered about them seeing there, it’s my thighs and my upper arms 😰

This is a very exciting time for the thread, lots of us in our tww or nearly due a period. Surely to god we’ll have another bfp on here soon 🤞🏻🍀

eloiseislost · 28/01/2021 19:10

@MrsKin90 Good for you for being open about TTC, it certainly shuts most people up! Funnily, that was my response to nosey coworkers even when we were not TTC! When someone would say "Oh you are married now, are you having any kids, you should think about it, time flies" I would respond "We are already trying" with a semi-sad face. 🤥 😄
Such a delicate matter, why do people feels it's ever OK to say these things?

OP posts:
Makingnumber2 · 28/01/2021 18:37

@Oilyoilyoilgob 26.5BMI definitely doesn't sound 'fat' to me! And you've done amazingly to lose 10lbs since May, in a period of time when we've mainly been in some form of lockdown! I can safely say I haven't lost any weight since May and most likely have gained, but am trying to get on top of things now. When I had DD I also thought I was going to be really conscious but tbh I couldn't have given less of a crap- I had bought a tankini for the birthing pool and that was all off in the space of an hour and I was just butt naked for the next 10 hours and couldn't have given a stuff. If you are conscious I do recommend a birthing pool actually because you can be on all 4s etc or in any number of positions which means your lady parts are not right in everyone's faces, so perhaps that's worth bearing in mind for the future Wink.

@MrsKin90 good for you for being more up front now when people comment. I hope they do get the message and stfu! It irks me so much that people even have to disclose the fact their TTC because I feel really strongly people just shouldn't make comments on topics like that until the person brings it up themselves. It's just so personal and you can never know the struggles people might be having with it.

@Bluey18 you and I are only a few days apart on our cycle Smile really hope we get some good news next week!

Since I posted earlier saying I hadn't even thought of POAS yet now all I can think about is my massive cheapie stash in the bathroom Grin. I'm going to have to sit on my hands- or might do what you did @eloiseislost and pee on an OPK to tide me over!

MrsKin90 · 28/01/2021 18:05

@Lori23TTC your chart looks more exciting than mine and your signs sound positive, anything different to normal to positive imo. I think I've said this previously but I've actually started telling people we're TTC when they say thoughtless things or tell us "get a wiggle on" because we've been married two years in a month. Obviously not telling them the SI version but that we've been trying for more than a year etc. (so secretly asking them to stfu). But it's really hard when it seems to be happening for everyone all around!! Depending how my RHR goes over the next few days I might test on Sunday. 🥰

@eloiseislost thank you lovely. Well done avoiding that situation!! 😬 Imagine that.

@Makingnumber2 and @Bluey18 coming up the exciting part of your tww 😁 whether you test or not I hope it goes quickly for you both!!

@Oilyoilyoilgob 😂 having been in the room when my best friend gave birth (years ago) you're definitely not fully on display the whole time and if you are almost everyone is avoiding looking directly at that area unless there's something imminent going on down there. I can, hand on heart, tell you I don't know what my friends thoughts or private area looks like 😬 and health professionals see much much "worse" (who really loves that area on themselves) so try not to worry! I hope it's not PMS ❤️

eloiseislost · 28/01/2021 18:01

@Bluey18 10 days is still perfectly normal for luteal phase! Just be mindful that it is entirely possible to get a BFN at 10DPO even though it's only 1 day before your period and still get a BFP later on. I find it really frustrating with early tests, they claim "6/5/4 days before your period is due" but they don't mention the very important detail that these claims assume a textbook 14 day luteal phase. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Bluey18 · 28/01/2021 17:43

Hello @eloiseislost, I track with OPKs, it think my app is just going off the last cycle which had 10 day luteal phase. Mine seems to be getting shorter the last few cycles.

I know I should be sensible and wait, and generally I do, this time it is just dragging on and on though.

eloiseislost · 28/01/2021 17:29

Hi @Bluey18 🙃
Are you tracking ovulation with OPKs/BBT? Your luteal phase is likely to be more than 10 days, your app sounds confused! 😄
