Hi @Carol1980 I’m skimming through messages so sorry if someone has already said this, but could it simply be implantation bleeding? The fact that it’s only when wiping could suggest that! Keeping everything crossed that this is indeed a bfp 🤞🏼

@Bluey18 excellent news 🎉 but so sorry you have been having such a nerve wracking start - this pregnancy thing is so stressful for some!

@Oilyoilyoilgob @Bizawit thank you for your kind words, I actually teared up a lot. In many ways I actually feel like I’m going a million miles per hour at the moment (work has been super busy) so I haven’t even been able to give IVF the attention/weight it deserves - but then again I think maybe in a way that’s better? I do have a tendency to stress and maybe if I had more time to think about I would just get really anxious. Nothing about ttc is how I imagined it would be - not the method, not the mc, not the amount of time it takes - so I guess I just have to embrace that this is another unplanned unknown and that hopefully I’ll come out pregnant - and maybe wiser? - on the other end.

Big love to you all! xx

@Carol1980 I would think the lack of clots is a good thing. My bleeding had neither clots nor ewcm so I'm not sure, sorry. I'll be keeping everything crossed for you ❤

Carol1980 · 28/03/2021 18:18

@Bluey18
Part of me wants to believe that actually I'm still pregnant and it's just a bleed x

This is going to a weird question.....the bleeding that I'm having has no clots at all, like I said it's minimal but it's mixed in with egg white stretchy CM ??

Obviously I've googled the whole egg white cm during AF and got zip !!

Carol1980 · 28/03/2021 18:07

@Oilyoilyoilgob
Yeah the boobs thing has thrown me for a loop these days too !!

I used to always get tender boobs, sore at the sides like clockwork every month, then I breastfed my daughter until she was 2 and I've only recently had the pain at the sides before AF come back ( she's 3 1/2 now!)

I used to use it as a definite AF symptom but this month...well I started getting sore boobs at the sides as usual but I was cd16 (5dpo)

I'm actually wondering if it's just my age !! Maybe my reproductive system has just though nah mate, I've been doing the same song and dance since you were 11, scratch that I'm done !! 🤣🤣

I've got my fingers crossed for you x have you any other symptoms this time round ? X

Bluey18 · 28/03/2021 18:03

Thank you ladies for the kind wishes.

@Carol1980 You poor thing, how frustrating! With my current pregnancy, I've had bleeding/spotting through out but never enough to fill a pad and I did get nice progression with my lines so I would say all you can do is keep testing. Anecdotally, I have one friend who thought she was 7 weeks based on her last period, but at an early scan measured 11! Her "period" had been implantation bleeding which was heavy enough to fool her. I've also had chemicals in the past but in those cases the line was always faint and usually disappeared when bleeding started! I don't know what to advise except to continue testing Flowers

Oilyoilyoilgob · 28/03/2021 17:56

@Makingnumber2 I hope you enjoyed your drink last night before starting your supplements! Good for you enjoying a chilled Saturday night ☺️

@primrosechill sending you lots of luck for this month 🤞🏻 I think you’re handling everything so well. Big hugs to you.
I don’t want to be glib and say ‘but think of the baby you might get at the end of ivf’ because tbh when my husband is saying that to me it makes me feel murderous! We covered this in therapy and our therapist hit the nail on the in regards to wanting to be heard about the worries/stress regrading starting and hormonally and mentally going through it. So I think you’re taking a really brave step.
Whatever the outcome, and I hope it’s a baby for you, we will all be here for you if that’s the path you go down ☺️

@Bluey18 congratulations again, and what a relief to read you’ve had a lovely scan and found the cause of the bleeding. I hope everything now calms down for you and you have a safe and healthy pregnancy 💖

I’m 9/10 dpo, like last month unusually for me my boobs have been very sensitive and painful. So no longer a bfp symptom obviously but now I’m wondering why they are like it 🤔 after last month mentally not being great (as for the first time I was very sure after all my symptoms) I’m chilling out and doing my usual compartmentalising and will just wait and see.
We have huge renovations in our back entrance hall and utility and I’ve really enjoyed having a project to focus on 😃
I have acupuncture booked in advance for the next three weeks, a massage booked for next month and continuing to just try and be a bit nicer and calm my stress down. I’m determined to let my body know that it’s a safe space for a baby!

Hope everyone is enjoying their weekend 💚

Carol1980 · 28/03/2021 17:46

@Bluey18 congrats that's excellent news x wishing you a long and happy pregnancy x

Right ladies I'm in need of some advice ????

So I commented the other day that I started AF here is my current situation.....

If it's AF then I'm cd 2/3 today. My AF is pretty predictable with regards to what actually comes out/ happens etc. I get a light / medium flow, the whole gushing feeling, especially first thing in the morning and probably go change my pad about 3/4 times a day but it's not in anyway a full pad.

At the moment I'm bleeding, but it's only when wiping...it's bright red but has fertile CM mixed in to it...the proper stretchy stuff. I've checked my cervix and it's actually so far up I can almost not get to it and it's super soft.
Feeling that something wasn't right I took another test and the line is still there, in fact it's coming up on the IC within a minute with extremely diluted pee. I've literally been peeing like I've drank 16 gallons of water !

On top of this I've began to feel a bit sick, nauseous really and can't bring myself to eat anything right now.

My cycle dates are usually 25/27 days, more often than not it's 26 days. I started bleeding on CD23 so a few days early and by that stage I got a faint line, the line has gotten darker but not control line dark, might do a test in the morning to see if FMU makes a different 🤷‍♀️

My question is....wtf is happening !!!!

I've narrowed it down to one of 3 things.....

1 just a really really really f'up period
2 it was actually twins and the bleeding is from one ?
3 ectopic ?

Thing is I have no other regular pregnancy symptoms ? My boobs are fine, I feel sick and a bit icky, generally exhausted ( I've wanted to proper go to sleep twice this afternoon) and peeing like a racehorse !!

If it's my normal period then it should be finished by tomorrow.

My wonder is, with previous early MC my HCg dropped almost immediately but I'm still getting positive results ?

Makingnumber2 · 28/03/2021 11:46

Also just noticed we are into the early 900s on the amount of messages on the thread. Does it lock off at 1000?
Might be worth thinking about names for the next thread??

Makingnumber2 · 28/03/2021 11:45

Lovely to hear from you @Bluey18 and congratulations again! Sorry you've had such a nervewracking few weeks with the bleeding but am so pleased to hear you've had a great early scan and I hope everything keeps progressing well for you and baby now Smile.

AdriannaP · 28/03/2021 07:49

@Bluey18 congratulations! 🎊🥳🥰 so thrilled for you! What a stressful time and so happy baby is well! Hope you join us on the graduation thread!

Bizawit · 27/03/2021 23:01

Thank you so much @Oilyoilyoilgob @Makingnumber2 @primrosechill ❤️

@primrosechill I’ve got everything crossed for you! I think at 4dpo you are bound to have all the normal symptoms so don’t read into that!

@Bluey18 huge congratulations 🥳 🥰. What wonderful news. That must have been so incredibly stressful, it must be such a relief to have identified the cause and know all is well with the little bean ❤️.

Bluey18 · 27/03/2021 21:30

Hello ladies. I hope you are all well! I have been thinking of you all and will catch up with how every one is doing now. I came off the thread as I got a BFP but have also had continuous bleeding since which turned me into a train wreck. Was prescribed cyclogest which seems to have done it's job as I had a scan yesterday, baby is measuring 6+5 which is only a day out and I saw a heartbeat. Also a haematoma which seems to have been the cause of all the bleeding, which is a relief.

I just wanted to thank you all for the amazing support on here. I was in a very lonely place when I joined and felt so ashamed but you ladies were an absolute godsend. I hope you all get your BFPs very soon xxx

Carol1980 · 27/03/2021 20:05

@AdriannaP omg I'm such a fud !! Saw that you have already said you take 150mg per day 🤦🏼‍♀️

Carol1980 · 27/03/2021 20:04

@eloiseislost
Awwwww a baby girl x I'm totally bias, my daughter is the best thing ( apart from my hubby) that has ever happened to me ❤️ I'm so excited for you and so glad that the harmony test has come back with good results x
Take care with moving house but once your in all the effort will totally be worth it ❤️

Carol1980 · 27/03/2021 20:03

@AdriannaP what dose of aspirin were you advised to take ? X

Makingnumber2 · 27/03/2021 19:54

@eloiseislost wow what fabulous news on all fronts! A proud mummy to be to a little girl! 💕
Can’t wait til we are all over on the graduate tread together 😊

@primrosechill sorry to hear you’re feeling overwhelmed. I think that’s totally normal to be honest with something like IVF- it’s a lot to take in and I know others on thread have spoken about it being hard to accept that that is the route they may need to follow. Just be kind to yourself and keep sharing how you’re feeling on here and with friends and family who support you IRL. Sending you lots of calming vibes xx

AdriannaP · 27/03/2021 19:37

@primrosechill I was told by my fertility consultant to take aspirin from ovulation as I had early losses and chemical pregnancies. I think it’s often recommended after BFP but in my case they advised to start after ovulation. I take 150mg a day and have tk take it until the end of the pregnancy.

Good luck with IVF 🙏🏼🤞🏻🙏🏼💕

primrosechill · 27/03/2021 19:02

Hello ladies, hope everyone is having a lovely weekend and enjoying a saturday glass of wine here and there 🍷

@eloiseislost so lovely to hear there is a graduate thread in the pregnancy channel and I hope that one by one we all make it there! Speaking of... @Bizawit such amazing news! 🎉 congrats on your bfp and please do take care of yourself during these anxious early days.

@Carol1980 I’m sorry you had your hopes up and then taken away. Sending you big hugs and hope you’re doing something nice this weekend.

Can I ask any of you ladies taking aspirin what led you to do this and also which day of the cycle you start and stop? I have been hearing a bit about this and want to understand more.

4DPO over here. We had our IVF consultation on thursday and have prepaid for treatment - my drugs/injections should be arriving soon. Still hoping I’ll get a bfp before next cycle - feeling a bit overwhelmed by it all - but I dont have my hopes up. My face has already started breaking out and my hair is getting oilier which is exactly how my body usually behaves in the second part of my normal cycle. We’ll see!

eloiseislost · 27/03/2021 18:24

@Makingnumber2 Thanks, I'm dreading the process of moving but I know it's for the best!
Yes, I got the harmony results back within 5 days, just as I was starting to panic! Risk for the 3 trisomies less than 1:10,000 and it's a girl. 💝

Enjoy your drink tonight and the vitamins can wait until tomorrow. I hope you have a lovely, relaxed evening!

Congratulations @Bizawit!! That’s amazing news- so pleased for you Smile Will be keeping everything crossed it’s a beautiful sticky bean 💕

Great to hear from you @eloiseislost and thanks for sharing your post Mc journey. Best of luck with all of the moving! So exciting but also a bit stressful I imagine too. Did you get your harmony results yet?

I think you’re right @Oilyoilyoilgob no harm in taking as soon as is there?? I am having a drink this eve- first one in a very long time so think I’ll start them tomorrow as I know alcohol impacts absorption negatively.

Oilyoilyoilgob · 27/03/2021 15:28

@Bizawit omg huge congratulations woohoo! Delighted for you, understand you being cautious about it so have a wonderfully relaxed weekend 💖🥳

@Makingnumber2 hello ☺️ I’d start taking them now ready for ovulation, I wouldn’t think it could do any harm? Have a great weekend 💚

@eloiseislost really good to hear that all is well! Enjoy moving into your new home ☺️ Love that a graduate thread is up and running, hopefully one day we’ll all shimmy across there! Xx

eloiseislost · 27/03/2021 13:51

Hi @Carol1980 ❤️ All good here, we are moving house and today is garage clearance day… So much rubbish!! 📦

I'm so sorry to hear about the positive test and then AF starting and being all weird! 💔
I don't know if there is much truth to it, but I had read somewhere about women who have "hyper-receptive wombs", as in they allow embryos to start implanting even though they are not viable -leading to multiple very early losses that women with less receptive environments would not experience.
I know it's not any comfort when you are going through something like this, but it makes a certain amount of sense.
It sounds like you are doing all the right things, with aspirin and progesterone cream -though I'll say IF (big IF) you have progesterone deficiency, the cream won't touch it, you will need pessaries from your GP.
I think AF being weird is to be expected if you are experiencing a loss. No matter how early the loss, the hormones will be circulating your body for a wee bit still. I hope you feel better soon! 😘

@eloiseislost
Lovely to hear from you and hope all is going well x

eloiseislost · 27/03/2021 13:25

@Makingnumber2 I'm well, thank you for asking! 🙂 There is now a thread in the Pregnancy section for all of us from here, when we graduate! 😉 I think it was @Janefx40 who suggested it, so thanks! 😘 Looking forward to seeing everyone there -and I'm sure I will!! ❤️

So even though I haven't been active here, I have been thinking of you.
My experience with the MC was similar to yours, didn't have a D&C but the pain and the bleeding out of the blue just when I thought it was over, were part of it for me as well.
I used Conceive Plus Fertility Support vitamins too, I ordered them after my MC just like you! I don't know if they made any difference, but they certainly didn't do any harm! 😉
When my bleeding was over, I started using IC pregnancy tests, which were positive for quite some time. This was distressing but it was necessary because I wanted to monitor my ovulation. Ovulation strips pick up hcg so right after an MC they are useless. Once the pregnancy tests were negative (took about 2 weeks if I remember correctly) I started using ovulation strips. I ovulated normally that cycle, but we only SI a couple of times after I got a positive because I was still not feeling 100% myself. But next month I was back, fully determined, full on SI and it worked! 🌈

I hope this gives you some sense of hope, I know how dark these times are but with your strength and commitment, I have no doubt the light is not far at all. ☀️❤️
