Post Pill Party - The Mosh Pit !!

As the Post Pill Party fills up, the lights are dimmed and the music drops a beat. The lead singer of this rambunctious band shouts: Mosh Pit!! The ravers all storm for the small space in front of the stage allowing their bodies to dance to the beat however the f* they want!! You go ladies!!

This is the 7th post pill party thread for women whose bodies aren’t quite dancing to the expected rhythm: we have delayed ovulation, crazy long follicular phases, crazy short follicular phases, light AFs, short luteal phases, long luteal phases, confusing temp charts and blindingly white OPKs!

@Robyn101 it's normal for rhr to drop with AF, reach a nadir in the FP and either rise for or after ovulation.

Glad to hear there has been some good news inbetween of BFPs and ovulation peaks!

I've been pretty quiet on here as of late....well I got my BFP a couple of weeks ago (So technically during the last thread)! I was really worried (will still am) but started vomiting this morning, so seems like things are going Okay at the moment 🤞.

Did another test a few days ago (yes I'm one of those people) and did an ovulation test as I had read it can detect HCG turns out it's true haha! Never had a dye stealer before.

@Juno231 read your comment about weeing into the satchet. I took an OPK to work once as I was having strong lines and didn't want to miss my peak. Forgot I didn't have anything to wee in so had to use the satchet haha! Amazing the things you do when you don't have much choice 😁

@juno231 I was taking B12 from CD1-10 then again in my LP. But this cycle i didn't bother with the 1-10 days 😬 haha, maybe that's where I have been going wrong!? 😆

@moocher90 thank you 😊 im going to start taking them throughout the month from now on!

@robyn101 mine was at its lowest until today were it’s jumped from 60 to 63 and I think I am ovulating due to a peak reading yesterday and a static smiley on CB opk

Ohhh I do have a question actually, anyone have any advice with RHR? Mine has absolutely plummeted to the lowest number I’ve ever had (56) anyone got any idea why or what might be going on

@kay00 oooh have normally just been taking B12 during the LP?

Aah I still remember my very first OPK. It was Jan last year, got some cheap ones from boots (had no clue there were so many to choose from back then). Peed on it at work and got a blazing peak straight away lol. It kinda set me up for disappointment as I've never had it as easy as that since!

Second everything about OPKs, def open to interpretation and wish they would come up with ones that only produced a second line during high fertility times so you would know that means business!

My bumper pack of cheapies, cheap pregnancy tests and clearblue tests came today so all stocked up. Just taken an OPK and faint line but have drunk lots so will see what one later is like. Seems like my FP is going to be a more normal length this cycle 🎉 or I’m just not going to ovulate, we’ll see 😂

@Nellieee yes have BD’d 3 times during fertile window and will be doing it again tonight but don’t finish work until 10pm!

@moocher90nI wish I could help but I'm a bit useless at OPKs! I thought I had them sussed, but I seem to miss my peak every time Grin.

Apparently people with IBD suffer with B12 deficiencies. And I read the following about B12 deficiencies: Low B-12 levels might produce changes in the blood that lead to miscarriage as well as changes that contribute to abnormal ovulation, impaired development of the egg and difficulty implanting a fertilized egg. . Like the above study, researchers suggest a link between B-12 deficiency and absent ovulation Shock

I might start hitting my B12 supplements all month around!

Quick check in, I'm lurking away just haven't felt up to posting (and nothing to tell).

Tiny bit of spotting today so think that's month 3 done for me. Another 8 day LP... I don't feel like I want to do anything just yet though to mess with my cycle as it's only been 3 months off the pill and ov has been consistent at around CD18/19.

@Moocher90 I've been using those OPKs as well, I just can't work with the cheapies at all, too much guesswork. Even I can work out a static smiley lol

@Elsie2021 @abi555 hey cycle sisters!! It's our second month so still early days. Hopefully some good news for a drab January is on the cards for at least one of us eh?! Absolutely no symptoms for me, unless I really try and think about it. V v mild cramps on 6DPO and I convinced myself I was nauseous a couple of times, but just hadn't eaten anything yet! 🤦‍♀️ @abi555, think I'll also test Saturday. Congrats on the house btw! Bet it's a relief for you!

Wish I had done my advanced CB OPK yesterday morning as think I would have got peak yesterday instead of this morning as my OPKs for today are not as high and I guess it would make abit more sense.
