@Babyghirl I definitely don’t feel consumed all month by it and think we’d lost interest in dtd I just seen it as a task/tick box exercise which my OH hated!!! So the fact it’s even helped that is great.

@MilsCookie yeah It is rubbish - I am pretty sure we are in the same or neighbouring counties (don't want to out myself on here haha) and the South east in general is bad for ivf entitlement! Not fair as we all pay taxes so why is it so different depending on where you live haha!

Sorry I've been quiet, I've been off worrying silently 😆

Thank you @SunnySideUp2020 and @27DONFIN ! I'm doing okay , I've had a lot of cramping but no spotting so I'm really hoping that's a good thing. Had pretty much constant sore boobs and started to feel slightly sick the last couple of days but nothing major! Just waiting for my appointments to come through and for a midwife to contact me. I'm only 5 weeks so still very early. Time is going very slowly! Haha

@Annny27 sorry that you've had spotting 😞 has AF arrived for you now?

I'm glad they have some tests lined up for you and hopefully they will give you answers or perhaps relax your mind a little and then you will conceive naturally 💕

@Annny27 iv been taken a note of my period when I comes in the calendar in my phone but trying not work anything else out till when I think I’d be due. Just checked this Saturday Af is expected.

I think it's absolutely horrendous that it differs depending on where you live in the UK. I only found that out last year. If I were you and had the money I'd definitely go for private IVF. Like you said, it's the only thing you want and you want it now so why not go for it!! But I really hope after the hycosy it will happen naturally for you and your DH and you won't have to go down that route. But if you do it doesn't matter - the end result will still be the same and it's your rainbow baby! 🌈

You are totally right to go private if hycosy doesn't wotk. The process is already long in itself.

@27donfin yeah its so awful! Do you know where you are at with your cycle atm?

@fizzl you are going to laugh at this.....so I was worried about progesterone levels, then I moved on to worrying about uterine scarring and now......... premature ovarian failure 🤓🤣 even though the doctor said my follicle count was okay I am thinking of what if it was the lower end. Anyway constant worrying as usual.

I have heard of people getting that done to c if there tubes blocked and catching the nxt month so hopefully your one off them. 🍀💚

@27DONFIN its totally disgusting the differences! Some areas offer none!!!! And then some areas offer 1 (mine) no then some areas offer 3. Its really horrible and I am so grateful we have the funds for it but my heart bleeds for this couples in areas where no ivf is offered! It should be standard across the UK

I honestly can’t believe how different things are depending where you are in the uk. I’m sure here in Scotland it’s 3 rounds everyone is entitled to I might be wrong tho x

Soo not left feeling deflated becaise they said I wouldnt be entitled to IVF untill November as that is two years since our miscarriage! And then even then I only get one round on the NHS.

So they said I can do a private AMH test and then next month (so after March's period) they can do a HyCosy (tubes blockage test). And then if we haven't conceived by the month after that we are going to do private IVF we think.

For the sake of 5-9 thousand pounds (I am aware that thats actually a lot of money but its the only thing I want!!) It seems silly to wait another 9 months!!! When I could get started on IVF privately
