4 days DPO - anyone else in the TWW

This is my first cycle of trying to concieve our second child. I'm 4 days DPO and trying not to sympton spot because I know it's too early, but I'm feeling rubbish today and can't help but google every possible pregnancy symptom! Anyone else in the same boat?

@EmiGoiko a cold may be a good sign! Apparently your immune system can go a bit iffy (to stop your body thinking the baby is an invader or something), so fingers crossed! I think I had cold type symptoms when I was pregnant last Smile

First month TTC and I thought I’d absolutely be a go with the flow kind of person. Didn’t expect to be so obsessive! Trying to be patient and not test yet.

@EmiGoiko haha how long I will hold out is anyone's guess! Ideally until Sunday as that would be 12 DPO so should be late enough

Boo on the BFN, but It's probably too early so don't be disheartened! How long will you hold out to test again?

I caved and tested today at 9dpo, which made things worse as it was a BFN. I really should learn some patience but on the plus side it was only an internet cheapy so not a huge waste of money.

Ah shame, but it's still so early. When are you going to try again? All the signs are good so fingers crossed 🤞

I feel 100% fine today, so clearly was just a cold. No symptoms at all today 😐

@EmiGoiko was negative yesterday but was too early so still in it. Twinges galore and v dizzy yesterday and day before a few days after the spotting. Spotting also never came back so that can only be good. We will see.

Definitely! Not like anything interesting is going on these days to distract ourselves with! Boredom means I end up down mumsnet rabbit hole, obsessively looking at old threads 🤣

I feel rubbish again today, sicky like i have a mild hangover although I didn't drink last night. And now I have a cold! So it's probably just that as still think it's probably too early to mean anything.

I had a few twinges a few days ago and since the weekend my body temperature has been very warm.

@allthingssparkly don't give up hope it is still early and all that sounds promising especially if it's different for you!

@penguin7 what are your symptoms?

Today I felt a bit sick this morning and have been bloated and tired all day, also unusual for me this far before AF. But 4 DPO is too early for these symptons to mean anything right? Am I clutching at straws?! 🤣

I have 2 tests currently I think I will in morning. I had spotting start 2 days ago and yesterday and nothing at all today, I'm also massively bloated and feeling odd. If negative I'll wait until Friday

I'm 10DPO today, tested this morning with FMU and it was neg.

I'm not giving up hope though, as it's still early and my period isn't due till this weekend so now I'm going to wait till friday or saturday to retest. I have been having mild cramps, lower back pain and nausea on and off since 8/9DPO so who knows, I know early pregnancy symptoms can often be the same as PMS but I don't tend to get any symptoms when I'm due on so this just seems so unusual for me.

It's a waiting game 🤞🤞

Well Ovia says I can test in 9 days, so I think that's approx 13DPO. I had told myself I was going to wait until AF was due, but I don't think I'll be able to wait!

I've seen on here some people getting BFPs at 10 DPO so you never know!

When do you all reckon you'll test? I know I shouldn't but I probably will at the weekend when I'll be 9/10DPO Blush
