TWW - let’s keep each other sane!

Officially in the tww after a temp spike yesterday morning and this morning. I’m around 2dpo today, we are onto cycle 4 of ttc baby no 1 which isn’t a long time really but feels like a lifetime. Really hoping this is my month 🤞✨

Usually I go mad googling symptoms and driving myself crazy during the whole wait only for AF to show each month so thought I’d change it up and make a wee thread for people also in the tww. We can all keep each other sane!! Feel free to join everyone is welcome!

I also have short cycles so due on the 25th too! Im going to test on either the 23rd/24th though as I don't want to go into work on the Monday morning either feeling sorry for myself or giddy!!

End of the month?! That's ages!! You've got some serious willpower! Have you recently come off the pill, or just have irregular cycles?

Hi @33Carr I'm so sorry about your MMC. That must have been really horrible for you.

I think I am due on 25/26 Jan. I have quite short cycles. Still feels like ages away and I constantly feel like in wishing my life away!! What about you?

@Dex1521 yeah I don’t miss the commute. I’m an events manager for a hospice so although there’s a lot to do none of it’s urgent as events are being pushed back still so the motivation of doing things that need doing by the end of feb is not high at the moment!!

@Nellieee hi! Is this the first for you or do you have kids? I’m 6-8dpo at the moment but not sure when af is due so waiting until the end of the month!

@Dex1521 @Grace185 Thanks for the suggestions! We've just started the crown, think we are 6 episodes or so into S1 so very late to the party haha! Good shout with his dark materials though, forgot S2 was available now! I never watched Greys when I was on TV either so I should give that a go at some point too!
Let me know if you watch Bridgerton, I can't decide if it looks too cheesy or not haha!

I work within the NHS so still going in everyday but partner has been working from home since March. He really struggled to begin with as he's SUCH a social butterfly (I'm quite the home bird) but he goes out for a walk everyday and says that helps a lot. He makes sure he has a proper lunch so will spend it away from the office to give himself a little head space before getting back into it.

@Nellieee Hia! I'm also 2DPO! When is AF due for you? We've been TTC for 13 months now but had a break in the middle due to a MMC and clashes later on this year!

@Grace185 oh yeah I've heard good things about bridgerton too it's on my list to watch. Yeah I have and it's so boring before Christmas I was literally logging on at 10am and finishing around 3pm 😂 I'm an accountant though and this is our busy season between now and April so I'll have stuff to keep me distracted and working 9-5 again 😂 I used to commute up the A1 Darlington to Newcastle daily so glad I've not done that in nearly a year though haha in rush hour can take 1.5hrs other times it can take 45mins it's so unpredictable

@Nellieee I'm 3dpo today and got my cross hairs today too feel so relieved when I get them. I've been trying for four months for baby #1 no luck yet. Got a BFP last month but was only a squinter and when AF showed I presumed it was a false positive unfortunately, luckily hadn't told OH as he can never see the lines on OPKs half the time 😂 I've attached my chart as I'm somewhat proud of it. It's totally different to any other cycle these past couple of months so hoping that's a good sign as month 1-3 they were all nearly identical

Hi girls. Also in my TWW, think I am 2dpo after temp spikes, but waiting for crosshairs on FF. Hopefully we get some BFPs this moth. How long has everyone been TTC?

@33Carr @Dex1521 I love the crown, we were late to the game and have been able to binge all 4 series. Have a kit 4 eps left I think and highly recommend!

I’ve heard really good things about Bridgerton on Netflix so going to try that out too. Are you all working from home? I am and have been from the start of all this. Any tips of staying motivated? I’m soooo over working from home now!! Even if it does save me a 1hr commute each way!

@33Carr Oo all I've been doing is watching copious amounts of tv since working from home if you like stuff like doctor who and sort of futuristic type things his dark materials is really good it's on bbc iplayer

Netflix suggestions I would say the crown, lily hammer, big mouth, drag race, are some of the things I've watched recently

If you have prime bobs burgers and greys anatomy are definitely worth a watch. Me and the OH are watching those currently.

Hi to all the newbies!! I love an active chat! Helps keep me distracted and occupied haha! Had a very busy day at work today so that's been good, just got home and now settling down with a cuddle from doggo while partner makes tea!

Anyone watching any good programs atm? I've just finished The Serpent on bbc and an episode into pemrokshire murders.

2DPO for me so I have a bit of a slog ahead of me before I can test! Other than feeling really impatient, I feel great haha!

@AnyTimeSoon hi and welcome! Sorry to hear about what happened last year but glad you're wanting to try again. Amazing you've already got a little one too I'm trying to baba no. 1!

I'm 3dpo also and feel absolutely fine haha no symptoms whatsoever the last few tww I was adamant I had symptoms this early so sort of glad I feel totally different this time round hopefully a good sign. When are you planning on testing i was thinking 10dpo which is next Wednesday. I'm a compulsive tester so if I can hold of until then I'm doing well. Good luck to you too xx

Hi all can I join? This is my first cycle for no.2. I am 3dpo.

I had a devastating tfmr (24 weeks) last year and an 11w MC previous to that 😢. It has been such a difficult time trying to heal from that and we finally feel ready to try. I also had a hysteroscopy in November.

I know its only 3dpo, but I feel so normal and absolutely not the slightest thing off. Keep reading that so many people start feeling symptoms early on.

Currently 3dpo. This is our first full cycle after mc in November so hoping for a good start to 2021! Have been ttc dc2 since July.

I look forward to symptom spotting with you all after frantically googling can you get a bfp after 3dpo despite knowing it's impossible

I'm certain AF will arrive, as I am very weepy and very cross today. Happens like clockwork 6 days prior to AF, every month without fail. Except today is AF-5, so perhaps i'll be one day late Confused

@Eaststreet I think I’m just going to wait until af arrives as I don’t know if my cycle is 30d or 35d as only had one real cycle since the pill. I think I’d test too early so if af doesn’t arrive by 28/39th I’ll buy a test or a few as I wouldn’t believe a positive until I tested a few times haha

@coffee1988 last tww I started testing at 5dpo until AF arrived I went through so many tests and so much money as sometimes it was twice a day! This time I'm hoping to get to 10dpo before any urges come and if it's BFN I'll try wait for AF day

@Fifi1086 I was on the mini pill too. Took me 2 months to get my first "normal" cycle but hopefully it's much quicker for you it was the longest two months of my life 😂 it's good telling yourself it's a practise run as I wish I did it was so upsetting thinking it would happen straight away and seeing that negative test and AF.

@ree348 hope this is your lucky cycle. Good luck xx

I'm on my 4th cycle (6th if you count the two before my first proper AF) and still no luck but feeling surprisingly relaxed this time during the tww and no urge to test (yet!) but I am only 3dpo so long way to go yet

I just need to keep telling myself it's a practice run so I don't get obsessed 😂 I'm feeling awful today though, crampy, bloated, fatigue and headache. Are those symptoms of ovulation?

@TTCat39 @Dex1521 Maybe it is just down to the stress! I thought I was going into this relaxed. But I feel like I’ve turned a bit mad in the last few weeks! This bit is the worst!

@Grace185 I’m thinking I will maybe do a FRER test on the 20th but I haven’t ordered anything yet as I’m so impatient I will probably do it too early. What are you thinking?
