Officially in the tww after a temp spike yesterday morning and this morning. I’m around 2dpo today, we are onto cycle 4 of ttc baby no 1 which isn’t a long time really but feels like a lifetime. Really hoping this is my month 🤞✨

Usually I go mad googling symptoms and driving myself crazy during the whole wait only for AF to show each month so thought I’d change it up and make a wee thread for people also in the tww. We can all keep each other sane!! Feel free to join everyone is welcome!

So I got my BFP last month and I’m now 6 weeks. The nausea has been horrific and now been prescribed anti sickness meds. Has anyone else really suffered and if so, what helped? Thanks. Xx

TTCat39 · 08/02/2021 11:09

TWW continues! Anyone else on the cusp of AF?!

I am 13dpo now, CD25 and pleased that I didn't get another 22 day cycle. But I have all sorts of weirdness going on, which I am putting down to the first month of taking Pregnacare and perhaps not being used to the way they've balanced things.

I usually get sore and swollen boobs for a few days which eases up on CD2 - but it has already subsided and AF hasn't arrived yet. I am also on my third day of very very light spotting. I only knew of it because i've been continuing to monitor CM.

I am not finding BBT helpful during the luteal phase as I am over analysing it! It was useful to see the massive drop on the day that I got a positive OPK, but for the rest of my cycle it's consistently high, and when it drops by a bit in the luteal phase it stresses me out!

TTCat39 · 04/02/2021 10:32

Symptom spotting again! I usually get pain in the bones of my lower pelvis during the first two days of AF. It feels like a strong ache, like my sit bones are trying to pull apart from each other. It's very odd and quite painful! Anyway, I am 9DPO today, so AF isn't due for 5 days, but today and yesterday I have had this same feeling.
I really don't know what to expect from the new vitamins i've been taking, but I haven't had this pain before unless it's been CD1 and CD2.
Hmmm.

Lockdownbabywishes · 02/02/2021 13:38

@coffee1988 I will keep you posted. I’m on CD14 today so just about to enter the TWW which I swear makes me turn into a crazy women 🤦🏻‍♀️

I will let you know how I get on. Keep me posted too. I have heard good things about them so 🤞🏻 they work for us x
@coffee1988 I heard that some supplements can mess around with your cycles and so I’ve avoided the full multivitamin like pregnacare conception for now because my cycle is so regular & I didn’t want to not know when I’m ovulating. I am on cycle 3 of TTC & I’ve been taking folic acid for a month now. I also take 1000mg of vitamin C and vitamin D but I was taking those before anyway. My OH is taking the wellman conception tablets as of this month too so will see if these help. Also decided to try OPK this month for the first time and only had one day of high fertility before getting peak fertility so hoping I have got the timing more accurate this month.

Good luck for this month everyone ❤️🤞🏻
@Lockdownbabywishes I've bought those for my OH too! I'll be following your updates to see how it goes as I'm mid cycle waiting for AF and they only arrived yesterday 🤞🏼 for you, I've read good reviews on them x

@coffee1988

I only started measuring again halfway through this month. I used to measure regularly before ttc and the low temp was around 36.3 so these are weirdly high. Erghhh. Pick a lane body!
Since I've been tracking BBT, from the beginning of this cycle, I haven't had a reading under 98.2F (36.8C) and my highest, yesterday on CD18, was 99.4F (37.4F) all of which seems to be much higher than average. I do see a pattern, in that my temp is higher in my luteal phase. But I just generally seem to be a warm person. I'm not ill, and I don't feel hot. It just seems to be the way I am. I read that it's more of a problem to have a low luteal temperature. So I don't think I need to be concerned.
TTCat39 · 02/02/2021 11:41

@coffee1988 It's too early for me to tell, but last month I had really sore boobs by this time (CD19) and so far this month I'm still running without wincing, so maybe!

coffee1988 · 30/01/2021 08:03

Hey again @TTCat39! I’m also still here but stuck on the previous cycle! Cd34 ish of a v regular normally 31 day cycle. No sign of AF and temp has been constantly rising but had a negative on a ic yesterday. Going utterly mad, wish AF would come so I can get cracking with the next cycle. Interesting you’re all talking about supplements. I started pregnacare this cycle and I heard it can lengthen your cycle. Has anyone ever experienced this!?

TTCat39 · 29/01/2021 14:33

@Fifi1086 Pregnacare for me and Wellman for OH. I'm also taking an extra 1000mg daily of vitamin C, as I read that it can lengthen the luteal phase. I usually have a 25 day cycle, which is quite short anyway, but had a random 21 day one last month so I'm trying to prevent that happening again.

Fifi1086 · 29/01/2021 14:15

@TTCat39 just wondering what supplements you're taking? I wanna do my best this month, I'm already taking vitamin d3 and folic acid but can anyone recommend anything else?

TTCat39 · 29/01/2021 12:49

Here I am again - CD15, 3DPO, AF due 9th Feb.
This was our 3rd cycle TTC our first baby, and I feel I know a lot more about my body after OPK, BBT and CM monitoring this month. Also first month taking supplements. Who knows if it will all have made a difference, but we can but try!

Ginini · 29/01/2021 10:24

Very light brown spotting today and lower back ache, never normally get back ache with AF tho! CD36 so highly doubt its implantation, I had some brown spotting around CD 8-14 too, think maybe I should give GP a ring if this continues, feeling abit worried about it all!
Anyone had anything similar?

Grace185 · 28/01/2021 19:46

@Ginini sounds promising! Keep us updated :)

NannytoMummy · 28/01/2021 16:43

Ahhh maybe it's implantation. Everyone has different symptoms if any at all! Let us know in a few days!

Xo

Ginini · 28/01/2021 15:05

@NannytoMummy sorry to hear! Lots of chocolate needed!

I though it was arriving as I've had cramps and back ache for over a week, had a bit of brown sticky egg white type cm today (sorry if tmi) then it's been clear since!
Gonna give a few more days and test!

NannytoMummy · 28/01/2021 12:10

@Ginini yes AF arrived yesterday 😞 nothing worse than bad pains either reminding me she's here! Typical.

Maybe try a test again in a few days. If she doesn't arrive. Fingers crossed for you!
Next month for me 🤞 xo

Ginini · 28/01/2021 10:43

@NannytoMummy hi! How have you gone on today? Any sign of AF?
Think I'm having a long cycle, lost count of how many days late now, but did test yesterday and got a BFN, third time I've had a long cycle now and no sign of af!

Lockdownbabywishes · 27/01/2021 16:10

@Eaststreet it looks like I have found someone just like me lol. Thanks for the recommendation. I may true the clear blue one next month if I don’t get a BPF this month.

I am going to try and hold out from doing a test until when AF is supposed to arrive. It may save me some money and make me get less frustrated with the results. I must learn some patience. It will be needed with a child :-)

Eaststreet · 26/01/2021 12:28

@Lockdownbabywishes Hi! I’m on CD6 today of my 2nd month TTC! Happy to join you in going insane this month 😂.
I was so optimistic last month, and just feeling so flat this month. It’s consuming me and I’m not looking forward to the next TWW! It’s all I thought about last time.
I used the cheapie opk’s last month but think I started them too late in my cycle, I’ve splashed out on the clear blue one this month so fingers crossed it helps.

Lockdownbabywishes · 26/01/2021 10:17

@Nellieee yes fingers crossed for 3rd time lucky. I’ve been testing early ish in the previous two cycles as I’m sure I’ve felt symptoms I’ve not had before. I think I’m now starting to make myself imagine them 🤦🏻‍♀️

I’ve not actually tried OPK yet. Are others using them? Trying to decide whether to try without this month and then get one next month after 3 cycles of trying based on tracking. Good luck to anyone who is still waiting for their result for this month 🥰

NannytoMummy · 26/01/2021 09:37

How's everyone doing? AF supposed to arrive tomorrow & hoping she doesn't! Fingers crossed 🤞 it's only month 2 of trying, but like everyone else here I'm so impatient 😂🤦🏼‍♀️ anyone still in the running for this month? When are you testing? I've decided I'm not early testing or I'll drive myself insane haha x

Nellieee · 25/01/2021 23:14

@Fifi1086 ahh great! Nice to know your cycles have returned to normal. Luckily mine came back exactly after coming off the pill too. Are you doing any temping or OPKs? Most definitely early days! Although you do kind of feel it'll just happen..at least I did!!

Fifi1086 · 25/01/2021 15:41

@Nellieee on cd1 too! Cycle 2. AF came on exactly 28 days after stopping the mini pill. Feeling ok and telling myself last month was a trial run as hadn't had a proper period yet!
