Anyone else first month ttc?

Hi guys.

I’m new here, I’m 29 (30 in May) and my boyfriend is the same. We had decided to start ttc in June time 2021 but over Christmas we both decided to ‘roll the dice’ once before and started having unprotected sex this month. I came off the pill in October time as I didn’t get on with it AT ALL.

I use Clue but only had two afs before this cycle so not sure how long my cycle actually is. We dtd most days over when the app said I was most fertile and it aligned with the cm too. I’m dry not (tmi) so I assume I’m passed it now!

With a 30 day cycle I had last month I’m due af on the 22nd but with and 35 day one (which I used to have before the pill I’d be ov around today but cm isn’t having that, well dtd anyway just in case. Then wouldn’t except af until the 27th. I’m willing it not to arrive and have decided to not even contemplate a test until the end of the month if af hasn’t arrived.

Just wondered who else is trying and in the first few months? I can’t help but reading everything I can find about early signs and feel like when we start trying properly in the few months I might go crazy!!

How are you finding it?

Was it normal for you to get this kind of spotting before AF? As I have never had anything like this, I usually have a fl flow straight away so this seems very out of the ordinary for me!

@everysunrise hi!

So the same happened to be last month and it was my period. I don't mean to be Debbie Downer but just letting you know my experience. Implantation usually is day 6-12 but more commonly 6-10. The brown colour would indicate old blood that didn't come out last month.

I could be wrong! Everyone's body is different and if you ovulated later it could well be implantation. Nothing is confirmed til AF shows/doesn't show.

I’m trying but it’s hard. I just assume it’ll go wrong. I think I know too many people who have had miscarriages. I’ve requested to join the FB group

Hi @mrssunshinexxx sorry for the silence I have been pretty bad with the googling and thinking everything will go wrong and wasn’t really sure what I would be like on a group but now finding it really hard not being able to chat with people about it. I didn’t get the tag, could you link it here?

Although symptoms can make you feel rubbish I think it makes you more confident that things are happening inside you that should be try think of it that way it's hard not to worry though! No just folic acid combined with vit d @Grace185 I know I'm surprised by myself to be honest I actually bought tests days ago and have just forgotten about them really only tomorrow's wee to not get tempted by I would only use FMU x

Yeah I’m good thanks, I get pretty dizzy before lunch the last two days and burp or feel sick a lot in the afternoon which I know is super early. The classic worrying and fooling everything but I know there’s nothing I can do except wait. What will be will be. We’re you on proper pregnancy vitamins last time or stuck to folic acid?

Hi @Grace185 I still haven't caved but i had a few cramps and sore nipples 2 days ago at 9dpo and nothing since I definitely don't feel pregnant ! I'm gunna test Sunday.
Only one more morning wee to not get tempted by! How are you feeling x

@everysunrise hey! I attempted cheapies this month and my god was it so drawn out. I got a light line and then absolutely nothing. I’ll be using digital this month just so it’s easier to read! X

They are expensive ! @everysunrise but worth it in my opinion too. When you get more used to your cycle you can end up using less and testing on a later cycle day. Haha yes !

@Babycakes39 hey! Thanks so much for sharing - this gives me hope! I actually tried the CB digital ones before this, but tbh teated too early in my cycle and then got the cheaper opks. Maybe I should get them again, they're just a lot more expensive! Xx

@everysunrise just dtd every other day that is plenty. Doing it every day lowers the sperm quality I have read a lot ! X
