Advice and just a general rant!!

Hello!
I’ll try and keep this as short as possible lol.
Me and my partner have only been TTC for a couple of months, we had a CP in October and we’ve not fallen pregnant yet...this month I was convinced I was pregnant, sore boobs which I never have (let’s just say I wasn’t blessed in this department), feeling sick, abdo cramps and all round feeling meh.
AF is due today I’ve taken a few pregnancy tests over the last few days all BFN, I’ve had some brown discharge today (sorry TMI) not sure if this is AF on its way or there’s still a chance?
It’s been really rubbish as all of my friends and some people at work are pregnant so there’s no escape! One of which is actually in Labour today, I sat and cried (although I’d never tell her that!!)

So I guess my 2 questions are, has anyone had an experience like me with all the symptoms, discharge but turning into a BFP?
And how the hell did you cope with family,friends and colleagues being pregnant?

Waaaahhhhhh 😭😭 AF has arrived this morning too! I peed in my usual pot in preparation for testing, when I wiped AF announced its entrance 😣 glad I didn’t waste my test on that one (even though I’ve already wasted 5 this cycle 🙈😂) onto the next cycle. Fingers crossed for us next time @Firsttry132 😘🤞🏻 Xx

Would you believe I was awake all night cause I was holding my wee and excited for AF to come midway through testing! Waste of a time and waste of a test!!!
Never mind, at least I know and better look next month 🤞🏻🤞🏻

Oh damn it! I still have a really good feeling about it though. That first line defo! (even though you drowned it 😂) I’ll be testing again tomorrow morning too. Fingers crossed for us 🤞🏻🥰 xx

Just googled it and apparently clear blue always show lines which is why you shouldn’t open them as it gives false hope so now I don’t know what to think again🙄
And the first one I fully submerged and went wayyyy past the max line so I don’t count that one either!!
Fingers crossed though and I’m going to test in the morning 🥰 xxx

I can defo see a line in those!!! Omg so exciting! Digitalis always take longer and need higher levels of hormone so don’t worry about that 😁 xx

@acupofteamakeseverythingbetter Okay so now I’m losing my head!!
I took the first test using the dip method, but I’ve never done it before so I think I might have flooded it?
The bottom 2 are from a clear blue digital which came out as “not pregnant” but when I took them apart I can see a line?!
I’m obviously not getting excited cause I’ve had to dismantle it to get an ever so slightly positive result and I think I’ve broke the first but wtf!!!
Going to test tomorrow morning using FMU and just sit and pray all night x

Advice and just a general rant!!

Yes that’s the same as me really, I’ve got the lightest spotting ever and normally mine gets darker as well! Ive been going to the toilet every 30 minutes at work today which I’m hoping is a good sign!!
Well one app says I was due yesterday and one says tomorrow so god knows😂 I might try test in the morning and see what it says although I’m pretty certain I know the answer already 😭 xxx

Hi @Firsttry132 I caved and took a test this morning at 14dpo and still bfn. I’m the same just want to know either way. I’ve had terrible back ache today. Spotting has pretty much stopped for me which I have to say is unusual as once it starts it just gets gradually heavier over the two days then I start my period properly. I’m due af tomorrow so will wait and see.

The suspense is killing me 😆 just went for a symptom-free COVID test as they are offering them in my area and the guy said my temp was highest of everyone today at 37.1. Instantly wondered if a raised temp is a sign of early pregnancy 😂 loosing my mind 🥴 when are you die AF again?? Xx

@acupofteamakeseverythingbetter Any updates?! I’m still spotting but no AF 😣 BFN this afternoon when I took one.
Just either want AF to come now or a BFP (ideally the latter) hate this waiting!!

Oh bless you @mamaatthegym it’s so rubbish isn’t it! Watching her rub her tummy at work is torture 😭 and then both my friends having babies/ in Labour I’m just the odd one out!
I’m sure it’ll be my time at some point though x

Thank you for sharing @mamaatthegym that must have been so tough for you finding out your colleague was pregnant and watching her bump grow when your should have been too! Then your DP’s brother and wife announcing so soon after getting married.

We are the last of all our siblings to have a baby so by the time we have a baby it’ll be old news for the grandparents probably 😂

I’m so pleased you finally had your baby girl, what a blessing she must be. I take my hat off to you, 14 months must have been tough. I’m so pleased you got your happy ending ❤️ Xx

It's not over until AF shows!

Also try to think of a regular period as the most positive outward sign of fertility (besides being pregnant but..pfttt.) that a woman can have. That always gave me hope.

I had some right stinkers whilst TTC. I had a chemical, fell immediately next cycle, but miscarried at 6 weeks. Very close work colleague then started portraying signs of early pregnancy. I just knew. I counted her weeks and surprise surprise, week 12 we get a big announcement in the office! "work colleague is pregnant, congratulations!" I actually felt numb. We would have literally been week for week the same! I didn't understand, at the time, why she managed to keep her baby and I didn't.

6 months after that...I still hadn't conceived and DP's brother announces him and wife (married 3 months prior) were expecting. First grandchild for DP's parents so of course it's all they talked about.

Sorry if that was longwinded! You do learn to just cope - with lots of tears.

I eventually got a sticky BFP 14 months into TTC and have an amazing 13 month old daughter!

@Firsttry132 My partner is exactly the same. The other day I told him it’s not happened this month 😣 then today I’ve said we’re still in with a chance! He just lets me get on with it 😂

@Astormofswords yesss love that idea!! After my CP I booked me and my partner a trip to Alton Towers 😂 he wasn’t best pleased but I loved it!
