ICSI Treatment

Hi there, starting treatment in next few months after 3 1/2 years of trying naturally. Anyone else starting IVF/ICSI in next few months? I have very low AMH so odds are very low x

@Mrs32 Awww it sounds like you had a similar experience to me .. I literally couldn’t stick it in my skin... I stopped trying and just made hubby do it .... the first few days my stomach was a bit sore and twingy .. but think it started to settle after that xxx

First injections done, it was a bit of a palava but we got there in the end LOL
I couldn't inject & husband was freaking out bec he cant stand injections.
Im a little sore but i have tiny round lion plasters so i put 1 on my blood dots to make me feel better.

How did you girls feel after your injections? Any feelings in tummy?

@furmummy WOW hunni thats absolutely amazing, youve definitely done s really great job.
A big fat red positive line is so exciting OMG, you must be over the moon. Im super excited so i cant imagine how youll be feeling. Congratulations to you & your loved ones.

@Mrs32 yes they decided to put 2 back as I only got 1 follicle which somehow had 3 eggs in and 2 fertilised. They were concerned if I were to do it again I wouldn’t get any follicles as on max drugs .. so I have defied all my odds getting to this stage .. and if I am pregnant (day 9 tomorrow and the line tonight is big fat and red eeeeeeek) so looking likely .... my husband thinks I have taken the excitement out of it testing everyday - but I turned into a first response test monster 😂😂 how are you feeling? How are the injections?

@Janefx40 thank you .. your right I feel like I am am ready to enjoy it and be excited - never seen a positive test before so it’s very amazing for me. Have you heard from the clinic today? Hope everything is going to plan and will soon have the transfer xxxx

@Furmummy you are allowed to be excited!! It's amazing! I know we are primed to expect the worse and of course we all know that there's a long way to go. But you've been on this journey a long time and you have a BFP! Let yourself enjoy it. At this point in time this is the best things could possibly be xxx

I also feel sick and didn’t enjoy my coffee this morning which is a first to me ...

Desperate for confirmation and scan to see if it is and if so 1 or 2 😬😬 xxx

@Janefx40 that’s a great idea -I wish I had done that as got myself confused earlier in the week with a positive that was prob still the trigger. Since then had negative, then 3 days of positives .. so fingers crossed. Hope your ok, bet you can’t wait to hear from the clinic with an update. Xx

@Mrs32 thank you ... it’s still there today and slightly stronger - am day 8 today so am starting to get excited xxx good luck with the injections xxx

@Furmummy I can totally relate to doing tests. I did a test the day after my trigger because I knew I had Hcg in my system and wanted to see a positive test even tho obviously it's not because I'm pregnant! Now that is slightly tragic I'll admit. I actually really enjoyed it Blush

It sounds promising if it's getting stronger as the trigger should be getting weaker by now. Fingers crossed.

If I get as far as a transfer, I think I'm going to test out my trigger with cheap tests but avoid using the FRER until nearer the test date. Xxx

Aww that’s great news ... I ended up bring useless at injecting myself so just let my husband . However never really hurt .. I used to leave the antiseptic wipe on for a minute before doing it, the menupur is better slowly as can slightly sting if done too quick .. but they were fine ... so excited for U xxx

I am ok thanks, feel like I have having twinges in stomach and really tired .. I have gone crazy doing tests ... I am showing a faint positive today that’s stronger than yesterday so am slightly hopeful .... I am day 7 today so could be ... my clinic have said to test on day 15 which is so long away still ... how’s your restful day going? Xxx

@Mrs32 that is great news. I'm excited for you. To be honest I have never found injections particularly painful. People do try things like icing the area but most of the time it is just a sharp prick and then fine. Most areas of the tummy it goes in easily but occasionally you hit a bit of skin that is resistant or a bit more sore. You can always just stop and pick another spot (technically you should put a clean needle on). Personally I usually just push through it. Sometimes it stings a little as the meds go in.

Personally I think it is best to count to three and just go for it. Good luck!!!

4 mature and fertilised over night. Transfer wed or Thursday if they all keep going

Thanks everyone. We got 5 eggs so not too bad. Will wait and see what happens overnight and if any fertilise. Really no idea what will happen at my age. Fingers crossed

I cant sleep
Started light bleeding earlier than expected so fingers crossed i can get my CD1 scan on Tuesday & start stims

Lots of baby dust for you all x
