Husband and I have had various losses the last almost two years. Last year we had our baby boy prematurely and heartbreakingly died an hour after he was born. Since then we have been trying unsuccessfully- some months, I think through the grief I would make myself believe that there was a line.

I’m 8 days post ovulation today and I think I can see a vvv faint pink line that came within the ‘window’.

I don’t want to tell my husband and get his hopes up bcos I’m scared that I’ve got line eyes. I am feeling a little rough which prompted me to take the test so maybe I am pregnant?

My 18mo's first test was like that at about the same dpo.

PattyPan · 05/01/2021 15:53

I can’t see it on any of them, sorry. Fingers crossed for you!

Godimabitch · 05/01/2021 15:52

That's exactly what I would expect at 8dpo, a digital wont tell you anything for at least a week. The test you're using is the best really, test again in 48hrs. Goodluck :)

whatsoccuringnow · 05/01/2021 15:14

I can see a line in all three. I really hope you are!

Chabbylis · 05/01/2021 15:06

Sorry I can’t see anything

BashfulClam · 05/01/2021 14:51

They look like all my sadly negative ones I’m afraid. Test again in a few days if you can see a line and it will give you a stronger result. I hope you get what you wish for, I never did.

Iwasonceabrownie · 05/01/2021 14:48

Sorry, I can't see anything.

Becxs · 05/01/2021 14:48

I can also see a line on all 3. I also agree with LividLovely hold off with the digital, the digital is not as sensitive and will not pick it up just yet.
Good luck x

WhatTiggersDoBest · 05/01/2021 14:43

I can't see a line. I'd do about three tests to be sure, at least 2 days after missed period, but I've lost a lot of babies and wouldn't want to get my hopes up (been there, done that, it makes you crazy).
Good luck!

GeordieGreigsButtButtZoom · 05/01/2021 14:43

I'm so sorry for all your losses, OP. I cannot imagine the heartbreak.

In the kindest, gentlest way, because it's so completely understandable why you're testing so early, I really think you should wait until you're a day late. This squinting at tests days past ovulation (if you even know when that was) and long before your period is due can drive even the most grounded woman completely insane and you've had more tragedy than most. It's crazy making. If you are, and I hope you are and have a healthy child, you'll know soon enough.

Good luck.

notalwaysalondoner · 05/01/2021 14:39

I can't see a line. But it's hard to capture in photos.

I personally made the decision after trying for a while to only test if my period was at least a day late - to avoid going crazy with things like this. It also let's you have a bit of hope whereas if you're getting a negative e.g. 1-2 days before AF is due, then it's probably an accurate negative which is upsetting. But appreciate it's personal.

sqirrelfriends · 05/01/2021 14:38

I can see something. I know the feeling of not wanting to wait till a missed period to test, it's excruciating.

I've got all my fingers and toes crossed for youThanks

mattymoo55 · 05/01/2021 14:37

I see it on all 3 but obviously it can go either way at this stage, everything crossed for you x

LividLovely · 05/01/2021 14:34

Oh god please don’t do a digital. They are far less sensitive than a FRER so at this stage you WILL get a negative even if you are pregnant.

FRER is sensitive to 6 units (forget what the unit is called) and a shitty CB digital sensitive to 50 units, thus only suitable for a few days down the line.

OP, I’ve been in shit situations like you before and I understand the pain. I sincerely hope this is your sticky baby.

Sally7645 · 05/01/2021 14:33

I see a line clearly in all three .... both of mine were faint lines at 9 DPO - good luck!

CaMePlaitPas · 05/01/2021 14:30

I see a line in one of them but not the others, good luck OP x

LazyName · 05/01/2021 14:29

Grin I can!!
It feels a bit strange being excited for a stranger on the internet but fingers crossed for you!

JingleAndTonic · 05/01/2021 14:26

I can see a very faint line but only in this third picture, fingers crossed for you in a few days!

MsCrapola · 05/01/2021 14:22

I definitely see a line!

StillCoughingandLaughing · 05/01/2021 14:21

I only see one line in each picture.

Calmandmeasured1 · 05/01/2021 14:20

Can't see it. Sorry.

Greenbks · 05/01/2021 14:19

Good idea on the digital one. I think I need to see those words for my own piece of mind.

I’ve got the test sitting on my desk and I keep looking over to see if the line is still there/confirm I haven’t made this up. Need to manage expectations!

Thanks guys, I really want and need this to stick.

Will update in a few days.

I can see it too. Very faint but it’s there. I had trouble conceiving many years ago and I had the same situation with a fainter than faint positive line. But a few days later in a new test it was clearly there.

Fingers crossed for you, I hope you have the same scenario.

I now have 2 healthy children with a few miscarriages along the way. Don’t give up hope, stay positive and it will happen for you too.

Jelly4444 · 05/01/2021 14:17

I had a line like this around dpo7. Hes now 8 and running around outside playing football 🤣

Its a very very faint line OP. Don't get too excited but it looks good. Have my fingers crossed for you🤞 let us know!

Jubaju · 05/01/2021 14:17
