Husband and I have had various losses the last almost two years. Last year we had our baby boy prematurely and heartbreakingly died an hour after he was born. Since then we have been trying unsuccessfully- some months, I think through the grief I would make myself believe that there was a line.

I’m 8 days post ovulation today and I think I can see a vvv faint pink line that came within the ‘window’.

I don’t want to tell my husband and get his hopes up bcos I’m scared that I’ve got line eyes. I am feeling a little rough which prompted me to take the test so maybe I am pregnant?

Fingers crossed it works out well for you - I've been where you are in the miscarriage front, not with your baby boy, I can't imagine how devastating that would be, I've got two children now, so it is possible - loads of luck

That's wonderful OP!!

I'm pretty sure with my second it was very faint too. So much so that when I took it round to a friend's for dinner she was convinced it was negative and got me drunk on red wine. I spent the next month panicking (didn't drink for the whole term thereafter) but DD was fine!

To add as a side note, I know this doesn’t mean I’m out of the danger zone. After a chemical, mmc and then losing our son, I certainly know that.

But I’m going to be excited for just one day!

So I’ve been good all morning. Managed to not do a test but I’ve been feeling rough, sore boobs, tiny bit nauseous. Lower back ache etc so decided to take another FR test and here is the line I’ve been waiting and hoping for, for 10 very long grief filled months. I know 10 months isn’t a long time but after losing our son each month has felt like a year.

Nothing will ever replace our brave son, he will always be our first born and in our heart. It’s just nice to have some good news after so many sad months, especially as we are nearing his first birthday.

Off to tell my husband but need to stop crying first. Fucking hell!

@Tomcullenisahero I firstly LOVE your username but secondly, that was a line. If it faded or vanished over time I’m afraid you had a chemical pregnancy.
