11dpo and still BFN - anyone else waiting for that line

Come and keep me company whilst we anxiously test together Smile I’m currently 11dpo, ttc my first. How’s everyone doing? How many dpo are you and when is AF due?

@Tina8800 oh really? It's almost stopped now, I've never had anything like this before, I normally get a bit of brown spotting before af, but it's nothing like this!

@Ginini when I was pregnant in September I had the same. A brown watery CM only when I wiped 4 days before my AF due. (I ovulate late and I guess implantation takes long for me too)If you about 8/9dpo that is a good sign!
Mine got slightly heavier today, still brown. I guess my AF arrived, sometimes I do spot a day before. Cant be sure till its red blood but I guess I will be out for this month.

@Letsdothis06 @Tina8800 hoping it's a good sign, I've had a slight bit of brown watery CM only when wiping since last night, hoping it's a good sign, anyone heard of anything like that?
I'm working nights all weekend so I might test on Monday when I wake up post nights!
Still feeling very confused as app says I'm on cycle day 16 and I'm only 3dpo, but if I go off when I had ewcm early on in the cycle I'm about 8/9 dpo!
It's all so confusing!

@Ginini yes, it is sounds promising! Hopefully it was implantation bleeding, but also can be Progesterone rise? I think that happened to me when I ovulated last month, insane nightmares and I woke up soaked in sweat.
I have signs on an off, such as hunger, thirst, cramping, sore breasts and constipation... I also had 2 drops of brown blood today on my knickers. Very strange, I hope not my AF coming soon (sometimes it starts with a light brown discharge, disappears for 2 days and comes back on the third day).
@Letsdothis06 I was going to wait but I will test in the morning. This little blood confused me know...

@Tina8800 fingers crossed for you. I'm also 11 DPO and it was so hard not to test today! I think I'll try to hold off until sunday with FMU.

@Ginini, sounding super promising with the insomnia, nausea and brown spotting!

I also had one episode of browny/light pink stringy discharge two days ago which I thought was very strange timing! (Sorry if TMI) it was only when I wiped once then nothing 🤔 really confusing me as it would have only been CD 13

@Tina8800 i know it's so disheartening getting a BFN isn't it, I've stopped testing unless I'm late or i have some big symptom as I fine BFN's so heartbreaking, I actually prefer AF coming I think! But try and keep positive I've seen plenty of women on here who have negatives until the day or after AF is due! Not out till she shows her ugly face 😂
Any symptoms?
Think I'm on CD 15 but I think I ovulated very early (lots of egg white cm like I normally get). I got it on day 7/8/9 after a short 4 day period, so very early but definitely all the normally symptoms with sore boobs and cramps too! So DTD then but also the past couple of days when I normally ovulate just in case!
Didn't use ovulation sticks, wish I had, as I'm not sure if I have ovulated or not! Time will tell but I have had bad insomnia the past couple of days and a bit of nausea today, probably over thinking it tho 😂

Well, according to the app my af should due on Monday. It`s a bit confusing as I had a mc in November, no ovulation but a period 4 weeks later. 2 weeks ago was my first ov since September so not sure how it will affect my cycle...
What about you?

@acupofteamakeseverythingbetter I would also suggest to use the ovulation test twice a day. I have tested mine on the 25th late morning came back very low, and the next testing on the 26th was the peak by the early afternoon. For me it is easy to miss the window as my hormones do not slowly build up, they just go to 0.10 to 1.25 in less than a day, so testing twice a day is necessary. Maybe buy some cheap ones from Amazon or Boots has its on brand they worked well for me; maybe back up with CB.
Im 11dpo, test came back negative today ( cheap ones but it should be ok to use 5 days before AF). I probably will stop testing now till Im late, I feel like my whole life is revolves around tests lately...

@sadz an app like that would be amazing!! When I’m not thinking about trying for a baby my period comes around soo quickly but now we’re actively TTC the TWW is torture!! 🙈😂

@Letsdothis06 thank you, I know it crazy I never took much notice until now! I've had terrible periods since when they first started so I went on contraceptions very young to control them better, sometimes I needed two forms (implant and pill) for a while as I'd bleed so heavily and I'd be so unwell with out it, I couldn't go to school they were so bad, so I was dreading coming off any contraception but over 10 years on and it hasn't been that bad so far!

How is everyone feeling today?

@acupofteamakeseverythingbetter yeah it does :( maybe next month we will have better luck... yeah i know the ovulation sticks are a bit tricky to get your head around ...i just went ovulation stick mad testing every time i went to the bathroom haha

A lot of factors come into play, stress, diet, weight... you just dont know ... i wish we had an app that could scan the body and tell us we are ovulating 🤣

Also I should add that even if you baby dance at the right time there’s still a chance the fertilised egg won’t implant for one reason or another so each cycle it might not necessarily be because you missed your fertile window it could just be that it didn’t stick for one reason or another xx

I’m still trying to get to grips with the ovulation test. For some reason the test are not obvious to me when I ovulate which is frustrating.

With regards to when to baby dance. I believe that you should be mostly DTD in the lead up to ovulation as sperm can live in you for up to 5 days so it’s best to baby dance in the lead up to ovulation so the sperm is there ready and waiting for when the egg is released. So if you ovulated on CD21 then you should be baby dancing in the bays BEFORE mostly but also on day of ovulation and a little bit after just in case if that makes sense.

Try having a look into Sperm Meets Egg Plan (SMEP) might explain it a bit better.

Once the egg is released is you only have a window between 12 to 24 hours to be fertilised that’s why it’s best to have the sperm ready and waiting in case you miss ovulation. I’m still trying to get to grips with when I actually ovulate though 😂🙈 Keep me updated ❤️ Best of luck to you xx

@acupofteamakeseverythingbetter just an update mine was definitely AF and not implantation bleeding... very gutted but onto the next month :)

So i have used the clear blue ovulation kit and to be honest i dont think it actually picks up when youre most fertile... i feel like it only picks up LH in general. I used the cheao tests but tested morning afternoon and evening and stuck them down on a book.. the clear blue digital said i had ovulated on CD 15 but when i tested with the cheapies i was still negative so i kept tracking ...and my ovulation test was positive on CD 21 which is super late but i guess im a late ovulator...

But then again every body is different so it may work better for you x

One thing that really confused me was i had a positive ovulation test from CD 21 to CD23 .. are you meant to BD on all the 3 days and after or just CD 21 when it first appears? Xx

Hi @Letsdothis06 AF turned up this morning, on time at least so can’t complain. Onto the next cycle but not before I enjoy some glasses of wine this weekend 😆 I’ve just ordered the clear blue ovulation kit from Boots so I’m planning to use that this month rather than just relying on my app. I did use the cheap ovulation tests but never seemed to get a peak which was annoying. Fingers crossed for everyone who is still waiting for their BPF!! Sending you all lots of baby dust ❤️

Has anyone been using the ClearBlue ovulation kit?? Or is there anything else I should try this month? I’m trying to be really cool about the whole TTC thing but in reality I really want to give us the best possible chance each month xxx

Welcome @Ginini. It's crazy how once you start tracking things you notice your cycle and AF are all over the place. Very frustrating.

@acupofteamakeseverythingbetter when are you planning to test? Trying very hard to hold off so when I do test it is a more conclusive result but I think I'll definitely test this weekend.

@DeeDee20 sorry to hear about AF, it's so frustrating and confusing when AF is playing tricks o. You isn't it, gives you false hope!
I had a random very long cycle last month after some very promising symptoms, almost 40 day cycle ending with the worst AF ever that came on Christmas Day! AF is a real b*tch sometimes!
