First month TTC

I know I am so excited for someone to get their first BFP and then hopefully we’ll have more and more every month that goes by!! Exciting times ahead for us ladies!

@Eaststreet nice to see somebody else feeling the same, I’m the same back pain is usually my main pms symptom but usually during not before. Even if it is all in our head, it makes me more excited 😂

@Annabelle0852 I’m 4DPO but I won’t be upset if it isn’t my month, it’s my first month TTC so I’m enjoying the journey getting to grips with it all & understanding my cycle! I also can’t wait for the groups first BFP. 2021 needs some happiness. ☺️

Happy Monday ladies. Today is officially my 7dpo which means one week of the TWW is done! Finnnally!! Half way there 💪

I have started symptom spotting like crazy even though I know it is too early 🙄 I really don't think I'm going to be able to hold out until AF is due.

I have this weird feeling that I'm not pregnant but even so I just want to test so I can know and move on already.

Really hoping someone gets their BFP soon... would love to see the positivity and congratulations in the thread.

@shannonl26 I’ve got the exact same back pain! I’ve had it for 2 days. I get quite bad PMA back pain but usually the day before AF, not sure what this is from. And also we had some decorating done this morning and the smell of the paint was making me feel so sick! I feel like it’s way too early to have any symptoms though I think it’s probably just in my head and I’m getting carried away.

I hope one of us gets a BFP this month, it will definitely make me feel more positive for us all! 🥰

@shannonl26 I did have a bit of nausea the week after TTC but I read online you wouldn't start having that so soon - so I think it was all in my head! Apart from that nothing else. I'm really convinced this isn't my month, but I am excited for all you other ladies! How amazing would it be if someone got a BFP 🎉

@greenfrogs1 how are you feeling in the run up to AF date symptom wise? Fingers crossed she doesn’t arrive!! X

@Eaststreet thank you, I think I’ll go with the 21st but if I am ‘late’ I’ll wait until after the 28th so I don’t feel like I’m getting my hopes up for no reason! 😂

I’ve got super dull aches in bottom of my back & my thighs are feeling as if I’ve just run a marathon. Not sure if it’s related to TTC or if I’m just an achy person never noticed it before though!

Omg the fact people here are already talking about testing is getting me REALLY excited. My AF is due on 15th but I am convinced this won't be our month as I don't think I got the days right at all. Excited for everyone who is planning to test though! 🤞🏼

I was complaining to DH yesterday that I had put on some Xmas weight and he said 'maybe it's more than xmas weight...' implying I could be pregnant. However I know it's just too many pringles and mince pies! 😂😅

So I know you can get first response early response tests but I'd rather hold off till AF due date so the test is more accurate. Up to you though. I can't handle the suspense!!! Xx

We have officially begun trying. Tracking my ovulation and we are now just waiting to see if it works!!

Not much going on for me I am 2DPO according to Premom and Flo. Does anybody know when you should actually test from? I’ve not thought that far ahead yet? Unless AF comes and then I won’t need to.
@shannonl26 my peak was the 8th and AF due the 22nd so I’d guess the 21st is more likely for you!

The only positive thing I am taking at the moment is both the apps have the exact same dates in for ovulation, AF etc. So I’m hoping that means it’s quite accurate.

6DPO here and AF due on the 18th. I'm weirdly adamant that cycle 1 hasn't been successful. Can't quite put my finger on it, and maybe I'm just being a negative nelly, but there are no signs at all that anything is happening in there! If I can stand the suspense, I think I'll wait until AF is a week late before testing (and she may even be on time).

Also club 30 here, but no cup! Just aiming straight for the CB strips and getting it all over my fingers in the process (sorry, TMI 🙈)

Going by my OPK I’m 3DPO, first month so who knows what will happen next anybody due to test over next few days?

Welcome @pbdr good to have you. Nothing to report here either, just waiting for the 15th and symptom spotting. Plenty to spot but unfortunately nothing that can't be explained by something else.
I am a member of both the 30 club and the pee cup club. Just ensure you tell DH that what was previously the 'water in the middle of the night cup' has now been repurposed!

Nothing to report from me, just DTD every other day since a day before the peak on my opk. AF due 28th according to flo but had my peak on opk 7th, so not sure if I’d still be due the 28th or more around the 21st? Any suggestions? X

Hi @Chall139 congratulations on your AF finally! I think keep testing your ovulation then you'll have a better idea. Fingers crossed!

Evening ladies, how are we all getting on? Day 52 (well now day 1)as AF finally arrived wooohooo! So now hopefully we can start properly. Last month I only used 2 ovulation a tests as I didn't want to waste them as my OH was on medication meaning we couldn't DTD so I thought we'd miss fertile window. I'm quite worried when I do the test it will show no ovulation or something. I know there's no point worrying until it's time to worry 😂 but I'm so just impatient 😂😂😂 I was hoping to have little bubba by Xmas but I know that is very ambitious!

@greenfrogs1 - yes i can imagine there will be! 😂 I keep looking back at it but apparently you can’t read them after 10mins lol.

I’m also really excited to eventually give my DP a BFP test soon 😀 hopefully one that’s not covered in pee 🙈🙈

@RadDarwazeh - aww thank you! Yes I think a cup is deffo the best option! I was busting for a wee so just did it that way, but got some on the window! Lol. The suspense was killing me so made DP look and he also said he saw 2 lines so fingers crossed 🤞🏻🤞🏻

@delilah221 I'm so excited for you, fingers crossed for a positive! Some tests you can dip in the pee in a cup but you hold it for longer to prevent flooding the tests. Hope that helps?

So, just did my first ovulation test.. and fortunately the spotting seems to have stopped! And I thinkkkk it may be positive 😬 but I also accidentally peed on the window bit.. which the instructions said not to do 😫

Also trying to be super chill about it all with DP so it’s so nice to be able to talk to all you ladies about it all! Xx

Hello everyone :) Would you find if I joined? I'm 30 and have been desperately broody for as long as I can remember, but always wanted to wait until the time was right to TTC. The time is finally right and I am now feeling incredibly impatient .

I stopped taking the mini pill last Wednesday. Was having some breakthrough spotting at the time I stopped, and that has continued and become a little heavier since, kind of like a light period. I have been on the implant/mini pill since I was 17 so have no idea what length my normal cycle would be. I've just started using clearblue digital ovulation tests but no idea what to input in terms of where I am in my cycle or cycle length. I'm getting empty circles at the moment anyway.

@greenfrogs1 Hiya love. Yeah same I haven't told DH much except I make sure he knows my fertile window. I'd love love love to suprise him with a positive test soon
