Pregnant 9 weeks after c section?!

I've just had my first baby with c section 9 weeks ago.
She was conceived on one round of letrozel since I have PCOs.
I'm exclusively breastfeeding and me and my partner had sex one time at 6 weeks post partum, unprotected.
I did two FRER yesterday and both came up positive although faint.
Did a electronic this morning said non pregnant but when I opened it up there was two lines although faint.

Can I really be pregnant?! Or could it be due to breastfeeding some how, or pregnancy hormones since before even if it's 9 weeks ago since I gave birth?!

Update 😬 I've done two more clear blue and it's not getting stronger rather weaker!! So I feel 99% sure I'm not pregnant! 🙏🙏 And I must say I feel relieved!!
Sometimes the further on you get, the lighter they can get. It seems strange to be left over hormones this far on. I'd be contacting your GP if I was you as normally it only stays positive that long if something is left over

Update 😬
I've done two more clear blue and it's not getting stronger rather weaker!! So I feel 99% sure I'm not pregnant! 🙏🙏
And I must say I feel relieved!!

Congrats OP. My friend has two 11 months apart, both planned Caesarians (though not a second planned pregnancy!) and no issues.

That’s a pretty strong line on your test, I’m surprised the digital gave you a not pregnant with a line like that.

Breastfeeding is NOT contraception.
You had unprotected sex 6 weeks after a csection...of course pregnancy was a risk!

I got pregnant easily while breastfeeding a baby a hundred times a day exclusively.
You’ve been a bit silly considering you can’t get pregnant soon after birth. Good luck anyway! Consult with the doctor ASAP though

You would be discharged from your midwife now I think but try speak to your Health Visitor if you can get advice or even an appointment as early as you can with your GP through them.

My 4th and 5th babies are 12 months apart, both c-sections. So close but not quite as close as yours OP. I didn't have any complications during pregnancy although the birth was difficult due to a failed induction. They are 7 and 6 now.

My periods returned 12 weeks after having DD and I was exclusively breastfeeding. Say you were similar, you’d have ovulated just before meaning it’s totally possible to be pregnant while breastfeeding. My midwife forced the pill on my at 6 weeks PP but I didn’t need it as took me months to want anything other than sleep in bed 🤦🏻‍♀️

I was pregnant 11 weeks after a c-section. Which turned out to be ectopic due to the scarring in my womb.
I lost a tube.
Any bleeding, pain or brown discharge, or if you just don't feel right, get seen ASAP.

I just feel like it's 3 weeks ago we did the deed and I feel like it would be a strong positive by now?

@SOFIE90 - I’d say it’s a positive test and unlikely to be leftover hormones from your previous pregnancy. Good luck with everything x

I've done a clear blue early detection and there is a giant line but very faint. I didint do it with morning urine.
I don't feel any wiser after that pregnancy test 😅
But I think I can rule out faulty pregnancy tests!

Yes they are, I used them when I found out I was pregnant with my baby girl.
But I've ordered clear blue that comes today. So I'm doing one tomorrow morning and if it's positive I'm doing one a few days later to see if the line progress, and if it does I'll know I'm pregnant and it's not left over hormones or leftovers of the placenta inside me... my mind is going crazy and I just need to know now..

I got a BFP for my second when my first was 11 weeks old. First was c section and second was a full term VBAC

I was consultant led both times for other reasons but didn’t notice that my antenatal care was any different and there was no discussion about me delivering early. The only difference was that they would only let me push for one hour in case the scar ruptured (it didn’t).

Like you I had fertility treatment to conceive my first due to PCOS and was exclusively breastfeeding. It was all fine in the end.

Were your frers from Amazon? There's another thread on here where someone had two strong positives on them, then complete negatives on other brands and negative on the next batch of frers. Maybe dodgy tests on Amazon.

There's 10.5 months between my two, both c sections.

The main thing they were concerned about was if the embryo had implanted in my c section scar - a c section ectopic. It hasn't.

My pregnancy was low risk and I went into labour at 38 weeks when I was booked for my c section at 39 weeks.

They didn't actually keep that much of a close eye on me tbh! I didn't have any extra scans or anything like that.

I think so yes, it can make it less reliable in terms of preventing pregnancy if you express.

Well done you for having the energy to get pregnant that quickly I was exhausted after mine both times and I can't imagine how I'd have felt with a section!!
