My husband says he can see faint lines on both of these tests. I'm unsure, what do you think? My eyesight isn't the best!

I don't think I'm pregnant. I started taking inositol a few months ago for my pcos and after reading up on it I think that may be what's affected my cycle this month.

How are you getting on ?

Sunshine3013 · 31/12/2020 17:21

Thanks @briochebuns - still no period. Going to test again tomorrow AM. Been having cramps for 8 days now only in the evening. Very strange.

@Sunshine3013 I’m with ur hubby, let him know he’s not seeing things, I can see the faint lines he’s seeing x

NameChange30 · 30/12/2020 22:23

Stop testing at weird times and do it first thing in the morning. If you don't get a decent line with FMU you're probably not pregnant.

Sunshine3013 · 30/12/2020 22:13

Hi @pringlebells yes I did and its the same. I'm doubting it to be honest, I'm 7 days late so I would assume it would be a strong positive now if I am. I had spotting 9dpo to 12dpo light pink when I wiped, didn't need a pad or anything and it was on and off so I assumed that was implantation? Nothing since. What the hell is going on with my body? I don't have irregular cycles so if I'm not pregnant, I really don't know what is wrong!! I'm slightly worried now.

No this was second or third urine of the day. I did try and hold for a few hours but probably drunk a glass or two of water in that time. Thank you for all your support! I will test again in a few days with FMU! Hope you all get your bfp too soon!

Do that in the morning and take a photo of the test in clear daylight

NameChange30 · 29/12/2020 22:49

Are you testing first thing in the morning (with FMU = first morning urine)? You should do that because the urine will be more concentrated and it should be a stronger line.

Sellorwait6 · 29/12/2020 22:45

@Sunshine3013

It is so faint. But my hubby still is against you all and adament he is not crazy says he sees it! He told me to upload this picture.
I can see something on that photo!
donerwillbehere · 29/12/2020 20:51

Fingers crossed Thanks

pringlebells · 29/12/2020 19:56

I can see the faintest of faint lines

firsttimemummy321 · 29/12/2020 19:53

I can see a faint line on the last image good luck!

Soexciting · 29/12/2020 19:47

@Sunshine3013 I think for a clear positive ie a reading over 100 you are looking 6 days after implantation so 15 days after ovulation... So just about when your period would be due.

Bottledupagain · 29/12/2020 18:53

I can see faint lines in both pictures.
Good luck Grin

NeonSparkle · 29/12/2020 18:13

I can’t see any lines in the first set but I definitely can in the second!

FayKnights · 29/12/2020 17:48

Oh god, just seen that you are nowhere near a place to get one! But please keep us posted.

FayKnights · 29/12/2020 17:47

I can see lines on the black and white one. Now can you please go and get a Clearblue and report back Grin

Sunshine3013 · 29/12/2020 17:44

I can see lines on the black and white picture. Good luck and hope you get your proper bfp soon x

Sunshine3013 · 29/12/2020 14:58

So how manys after would this test show a clear positive?

OP posts:
Soexciting · 29/12/2020 14:26

If your tests are 100mg/ml you might have a while to wait for a strong positive. This is a chart from a medical journal I was reading last night (light reading, not obsessed at all!) It shows HCG averages for days post IMPLANTATION which usually happens at dpo9
