@dex1521 that sounds really good . I think ill try that next month as think it will be too late this time. Sorry to hear about your back . Maybe try a hot water bottle to try and ease it up or a hot bath . I took my first opk this month and still pretty low so hopefully will pick up soon xx

The app is called fertility friend I find it the easiest to understand with bbt and I take it every morning as soon as I wake up. Don’t sit up or move or anything has to be straight away for accuracy but if you miss a set time (like mine is usually 7am) there is adjusters online which you can input info and will correct your reading so each reading is took at the same time...hope that makes sense lol

I hope so too fingers crossed for us both ✨👶 although I have just trapped a nerve in my back today exercising (did it in August too) so I’m in bloody agony. Hoping it goes away before I ovulate don’t want anything to ruin this cycle lol

1992EM · 04/01/2021 17:26

@dex1521 oh what app is that and do you just take your tempature in the morning? Thank you, I hope thisnis our lucky cycle x

@apwilso aww wishing you all the best! Fingers crossed this is your month xx

@Tabbycat92 same too you. Hopefully get our BFPs soon

@1992EM I found it really helpful to know I’ve ovulated as I had doubts in my head I wasn’t but the rise in BBT and the cross hairs confirmed it. I’ve attached last cycles chart to show you how it can be helpful. I started OPKs too today just got a new box of 50 through the door this morning 😅 my fertile week is coming up soon too. Wishing you all the best for it xx

@Dex1521 of course 💕 glad you have found the new chat. Good luck with opks and bbt. I haven't tried bbt yet, might give that a go next month if we aren't successful this month. I am heading into fertile week and will starts opks today. Usually start them earlier but couldn't be bothered this month 😅. Trying to get fitter and healthier and avoiding caffeine which has been hard 🤣. x

Hiya @Dex1521 yes I remember you. I did similar, joined in October and rejoined last month.
Nice to see you back, though I'm sorry you haven't had any success in the mean time!
Finger crossed, and babydust to you

apwilso · 04/01/2021 11:23

@Dex1521 I remember you ofc!!❤️
I'm still trying on cycle 3 due AF this week but we will see had some symptoms but never know!

Dex1521 · 04/01/2021 11:09

Hi everyone! Anyone remember me? Wondering if I’m ok to rejoin again 😂 I used to post back in October time on the first chat then drifted off slowly - I still recognise some names @1992EM and @apwilso are two of them!
We are ttc baby no 1 but with no luck yet, I’m also 23 so hoping age is on my side. I’m onto cycle 4 and have started BBT and OPKS today definitely feel a lot more relaxed this cycle. I’m also eating a lot healthier again and exercising but keeping it light. Fingers crossed for this cycle 🤞might also be worth mentioning I was on the mini pill for 1.5years (implant before that for years) came off the pill end of September 2020

Skimmed over the chat so far but feel free to let me know your position with ttc and what’s happening. Xx

Misty84 · 03/01/2021 20:42

@BettyRem Ahh that’s so nice! Well hopefully it’ll happen a lot quicker for you than it is for me right now!😛 Great that you’re both young 🙂
Yes it was def quick for us to start trying and ideally we’d have had more time together first, but I’m bloody glad we started when we did now!! Neither of us wanted to waste time given I was already mid thirties. He’s a good guy and I’d been single for 8 years so I snapped him up!!😂
Sending you positive vibes too!💖xx

BettyRem · 03/01/2021 20:19

@Misty84 wow that's fast! I suppose when you know, you know.
Absolutely! It could happen at any moment, sending you positive vibes ✨💖
We are starting ttc this month, I've been waiting for dp to be ready and the day is finally here! He's 27 and I'm 30 next month and I couldn't wait to get going. Just trying to not get too excited if that's even possible 😅

Misty84 · 03/01/2021 17:40

@BettyRem from what other friends have experienced it is quite slow but Covid has def made it even worse! I’m 36 so very aware that time is vital!! Want nothing more than to be a mum. I didn’t meet my partner until I was 34 and we started trying 6 months later! So that’s the journey we’re on together. Definitely had many low points but I think we’ve come to terms with the fact it’s either just taking a long time or we will need IVF. Getting a BFP just seems like such a far off dream, so out of reach, when in reality it could happen any month!🤞🤞
What’s your story? Xx

BettyRem · 03/01/2021 17:16

@laura2093 ah okay I've not heard of that one. I've just started using Ovia so will so how that goes, it seems pretty thorough

@Misty84 totally get it, I imagine it's hard to not let it consume your thoughts and staying in that middle ground. Is fertility testing generally slow or is covid just slowing everything down?

FluffyLittleDragon · 03/01/2021 17:07

I had my contraceptive implant removed last month & my husband & I have been trying to conceive since. Still early days however I'm hopeful. I don't know what my cycle will be like because I was on the implant for 11 years so it's anyone's guess 🤷🏽‍♀️. Despite being 32 nearly 33, I hope we can conceive our first child 🤞🏽.

Misty84 · 03/01/2021 16:51

@BettyRem Hi🙂 Yes I do wait. I tested early once and then didn’t bother again! I’m on cycle 17 so never expect to be pregnant anyway anymore...don’t mean that to sound as negative as it is, it’s just self preservation! Having fertility tests it’s just all very slow xx

laura2093 · 03/01/2021 16:41

@BettyRem yeah it's just the Femometer app xxx

BettyRem · 03/01/2021 16:39

@laura2093 what's that? Is it an app you use?
@Misty84 let us know how you get on, do you wait for af?
Happy new year to you all x

apwilso · 03/01/2021 16:19

I'm going to do a few changes. Obviously from tomorrow put quite a lot of weight on over lockdown so need to get back on track x

Misty84 · 03/01/2021 15:49

@1992EM thank you for adding me to this thread!🥰
Happy new year everyone. I’ve been trying not to focus on TTC this last month but now it’s 3 days until AF due so obviously hope and awareness building again..!!!
Hope everyone is ok. I wish 2021 to be our year! Xx

laura2093 · 03/01/2021 12:43

What do you reckon! Do you think it'll be enough?

1992EM · 02/01/2021 21:42

@GeorgiaMcGraw welcome 💕 I totally get that feeling. I am on cycle 9 and had a bit of a break over Christmas and allowed myself to have a few drinks and not worry. Definitely helps to relax.

@Tabbycat92 oh I will be doing that next week too 🤣 preseed , CB ovulation tests , I have also cut out all fizzy juice ( I don't drink tea or coffee anyway) and sticking to water or diluting juice. no idea if it will help conceive but definitely will help get healthier.

@apwilso that could be implantation pains possibly. Fingers crossed for you.

DNpink82 · 02/01/2021 21:38

OMG this tww is killing me, I'm only 6 dpo and I don't even feel any different I'm just feeling so impatient 🙈

apwilso · 02/01/2021 21:26

@Tabbycat92 I had that tear feeling it was awful like when I twisted sometimes!

Tabbycat92 · 02/01/2021 19:34

@apwilso it was a mix of bloating, lower back ache, and this pulling/stretching sensation. Also if I happened to move suddenly, like roll-over in bed, you'd get a sharp stretch/tear feeling. All in lower abdomen, just above the pubic area

apwilso · 02/01/2021 19:10

@Tabbycat92 how did you feel in the first pregnancy with the pulling. Mines literally like lower central abdomen like a weird achy pulling but feels like a little ball that's being pulled. Hard to explain!

Tabbycat92 · 02/01/2021 18:29

@apwilso the pulling sensation sounds promising! I remember that from my first pregnancy. Finger crossed for you!
