@Kay00 I feel your pain with the thermostat, our boiler broke at about this time 2 years ago, we had to wait 2 weeks for them to fit a new one 🥶 old house as well so next to zero insulation!

Did anybody hit the boxing day sales? Well I got peer pressured into going and BBC midlands only turned up and there was me and my friend at the front of a huge que for lush, the woman from BBC came up and asked me if i wanted to be on BBC midlands today! I was like nooooooooooo! 😂

@abi555 I think you could be right on the temp front, they definitely sound more like LP temps. I don’t think I’ve been in my LP phase since I came off the pill as I haven’t ovulated and all my temps are around 35.9-36. Hopefully, will be nice for AF to arrive so you know where you’re at. Never thought I’d pray for a period like I have done in the past few months!!

@Robyn101 blimey 124 days is long! I have everything crossed for you that this is it now!! I have started taking the seven seas (possible you - thanks!) after someone suggested it on here so hopefully they will help

I've actually been measuring my temps for the past 7 days just to try and get in to the habit so that when AF finally turns up I can hit the first cycle running so to speak and know what I'm doing. All my temps have been over 36.6 for the past 7 days.... I'm now wondering (/desperately hoping!) that it may mean I've already ovulated as have read the first half of cycle prior to ovulation usually has temps 36.5. All my OPK's have been the starkest of white however so it's probably just me grabbing at straws. Anyone think I may be on to something and have just missed a peak on OPK's??
If so, I suppose I'll know in a week or so as hopefully AF will arrive.... Just need to be patient....! (something I am not good at!)

@KGH5121 fingers crossed for you - that could be an implantation dip so probably nothing to be concerned about at this stage?!

@abi555 I know what you mean, I feel like I’ve been waiting a lifetime for something to happen. I think our bodies do a lot of weird things when we come off the pill but hopefully sore boobs are a sign that things are starting to happen

So I had my peak OPK yesterday, did one again this morning and got a low reading again. I didn’t have a temp spike this morning but have had what I think might be ovulation pains - like a dull ache on my right side near my hip? So wondering if I could be ovulating today and might have a temp spike tomorrow.

@thedaydreambelievers ah good. You're doing the right thing (re chocolate and booze 😉) although I agree tracking is harder with the late nights, booze and mountains of roast potatoes. I keep meaning to do OPKs but im just forgetting! Hoping I catch my peak in next week or so.

@robyn101 😳 that is a crazy long cycle!

@Robyn101 really hope this is ovulation for you and AF will come soon! Mine was 141 days from withdrawal bleed to first AF and I really hope you dont get to that stage!

@abi555 forgot to mention I started the seven seas ‘trying for a baby’ at the start of December - no idea if this has helped my body level things out or not or whether it’s just a coincidence but I’ve read good things about them so worth a shot if you’re not already taking anything

@abi555 I’ve been there believe me, I’ve even spoke to the doctor because it’s been so long I’m on CD 124 according to my Femometer app (I think I miscalculated previously and was counting how many days late I was not CD) not sure if that beats some of the crazy long records in here but blummin close got everything crossed I’m on the right path now

It’s tricky I got a peak which is great but not confirmed with BBT but with it being Christmas times have been a bit everywhere so I’ve been adjusting them and alcohol etc in the mix too, just gunna trust the OPKs and keep BD in the mean time and see what happens

@kay00 Nope! Just random nonsense. I'm basically just chilling (and eating xmas chocolate) until AF shows post MMC. Doing temps just to get into routine, but waking times are all over the place and theres alcohol etc in the mix too!

Hope you have lots of cosy blankets to warn off the chill!

@Kay00 yes testing 3/4 times a day. Today’s wees I haven’t been able to get much of a hold but am hopefully going to hold now until around 10pm and do another test.
Back to work on Tuesday and from then on won’t be able to test as often

@moocher90 hmm... I think its possible you could ovulate in next day or so, are you testing a couple of times a day?

@thedaydreambelievers did your spotting develop into an AF today? Hopefully its just some random spotting and you'll ovulate soon xx

@kgh5121 a temp dip at 6DPO is quite normal and is usually caused by a secondary estrogen surge. Interestingly it is slightly more likely to happen in a cycle with a pregnancy outcome so 🤞🤞 this is your implantation!

@juno231 oh dear... that sounds painful! Will it put you of BD during your fertile week? I share your fears of antibiotics as I have toothache (its been building for a couple of months but has got quite bad in the past week) with a possible abscess 😩 whats worse is i don't have a dentist right now... and its Christmas!! 😆

In other news... my thermostat has given up its ghost 👻 so I don't have heating until the replacement arrives on Wednesday 🥶

@MintGreenLife so my breasts are sore and my temp is the lowest it’s been 36.05 however the opk is 0.14 today technically CD14 but can’t gauge when/if I will ovulate as not had any proper cycles post pill which started end of august. The last 2 days the OPKs also been negligible or stark white. I will continue to test and also BD every other day in the mean time. See what tomorrow’s temperature brings also. My RHR is 70 today and I believe RHR rises for ovulation.

@Moocher90 I hadn’t really contemplated how much the news would lift everyone’s spirits, but it really seemed to, especially with us all being separate for Christmas. How are you getting on?

@KGH5121 it was great ☺️ It kind of took over the whole day, which was a good thing really as was just me, OH and the dog so not a lot going on other than our Skype calls 😂 we’re hoping to be moving house early Jan, so I think with that potentially going on the scan will feel like it’s come round a bit quicker. Feels like ages away at the mo though. Your LH surge looks great on your chat! I used Premom for OPKs too ☺️

Had some achy side boobs for the last few days and was really hoping it was AF about to turn up for first time, but it's gone away today so I now think it might just have been a badly fitting bra Very excited for you both though as you've both been waiting a long time too - what CD is this for you Robyn?

@MintGreenLife how did the announcement go on Skype?? Bet everyone was thrilled . Not long until your scan (though if it is anything like TTC, bet it feels forever away haha!). Only 6dpo so too early to test yet :)

@Kay00 technically I'm 3 days late as my previous 2 cycles were 24 days. This cycle I ovulated on CD21 so I'm actually only 6dpo. My cycles pre-pill were 33 days long so it seems like my body might be settling down 🤞 any signs yet for you?

I'm currently 6dpo and my temps had been quite consistent the last few days but it has dropped this morning by 0.2 down to 36.2 degrees, is this quite normal or am I worrying too much over one reading? Its just my temp was 36.2 on CD1 of this cycle.

@Moocher90 morning ☺️ Thanks for asking. It went really well. We sent cards with the news but asked our parents/siblings to wait until we could skype on the day to open them, everyone was really thrilled, some really surprised whereas others had an idea of what the card could be. Is really nice to have told them, especially as my SIL is a few months ahead so am now included in all the pregnancy chat ☺️

@Juno231 for the last two days my OPKs are barely readable :( so don’t think ovulation has happened yet unless it peaked so quickly that I missed it. Will continue to to do OPKs just in case though. This is the lowest temp I have had. Also the last 2 days my RHR is 69 which is the highest it’s been since CD1

I seem to have a bit of brown spotting today - not sure if this is AF or just post MMC nonsense. If its AF this cycle was definitely annovulatory!
