Hi ladies. Catching up on you all. Feel totally out of the loop!

@Juno231 your chart looks great! And yours @Mol234!! Fingers crossed for you both.

@abi555 I am always confused by OPKs too. What type are you using?

@Rmd123 hi 👋 I'm in a similar boat to you re CB OPKs. V confused! It looks as though you're CD17 if you count the 6 Jan period, so could defs be plausible that you're peak fertility now.

@Kay00 bless you with your long cycle! It's so frustrating isn't it? Any high OPK results? The dotted crosshairs really throw you off. Same has happened to me this cycle.

Currently CD12. Ovulated CD12 last month. I've started using the purple CB opks this cycle too. Been using FMU according to instructions, but kept annoyingly getting empty circles from CD10. I read somewhere you should use in the afternoon like other OPKs to detect LH surge though... Did a standard OPK last night and it was v high but not quite peak - DTD. This morning my elevated temps gave me dotted crosshairs and predicted ovulation on CD9 (which has made me think I'm having early onset menopause all afternoon after researching my seemingly short follicular phase). I did drink, and woke up late, the last few days so might have thrown off stats.

Randomly did a CB OPK this evening as having ovulation pains, and got a static smiley which suggests I'm now peak, despite elevated temps. Grr. So confused. Anyone else experienced peak OPKs after temp rises? Chart attached. In the wise words of @Juno231 when in doubt, get on it!! Also, my RHR was crazy this morning 🤪

Thanks everyone, have done another OPK tonight and it is now definitely the same colour as the control. Not darker, but I'm taking that as a positive and have informed OH to get ready for DTD tonight..... he looked at me like I'm ridiculous when I tried to explain the SMEG plan and was all like 'why can't we just relax and see what happens'. I told him to shush and get with the plan haha!

@abi555 thanks. You are right it is still very early and I know it's silly to get worked up about it!

As for OPKs if it's about the same I would still take that as a positive, particularly if it's a lot darker than you've seen before. How much you have been drinking can affect it too. Sometimes mine are a lot darker yet some months it doesn't get quite as dark as the control but bbt shows I have ovulated. I'd keep testing to see if it does get darker and get bding! 😁

@abi555 my OPKs only ever get slightly darker than the control line I think it is the same colour or darker than the control line, definitely test again in a few hours 🤞🏼

@FlyingGiraffe I know so annoying I’ve only 6000 on the fit bit and it should be about 13000 😂 more annoyed about it then I should be tbh 😂

@abi555 it may be too early to tell as im not ovulating yet but I don’t really get any CM after my period and just abit of EWCM before ovulation but for £2.50 for 30 capsules its worth a try!

@abi555 I think it's usually darker than the control line to be the peak, but it sounds like it's positive. Mine can vary in a few hours so maybe try testing again tonight after holding for 3-4 hours if you can? It could be that you have a gradual surge though and it'll be an even stronger line tomorrow!

@Kay00 I’m not sure the bbt time adjuster is that accurate tbh. Sometimes I wake up at 5am for example and take my temp, sleep til 8am and it’s pretty much the same. I still do adjust my temps but kinda take it with a pinch of salt! At least you’ve got BD in to cover bases and see what happens over the next few days - either a delayed temp rise or if you didn’t ovulate hopefully your body will have another go!

@FlyingGiraffe completely know what you mean about always feeling like you’re waiting. The past week has gone so slow for me!

@Flowers222 I’m terrible at looking up symptoms as well! It seems like pretty much anything can be an early pregnancy symptom! I was thinking of holding out to 11DPO too or even longer if I didn’t feel symptoms - but know I will be so so tempted to test by 10DPO!

@abi555 that’s super exciting! I’d massively recommend using the Femometer app for OPKs as it gives you a percentage reading which is helpful to show what’s high / a peak. Hopefully this is your peak though! Do you have EWCM too? I’d also suggest to keep testing over the next few days as some ladies have a few days of high readings before ovulating!

@abi555 sounds like its almost there. Test again tonight to see if the test line is stronger than the control. But you might assume you will Ov tomorrow or the day after. You could try DTD tonight and tomorrow, if not yesterday and tomorrow will probably have you covered 😁

Yes exactly we were getting a bit wound up as BD has been quite scheduled the last week or 2 so after tomorrow we're gonna take it easy for a few weeks and see what happens x

@Rmd123 That's true! It should be comparing it to your low lh days. I think it'll be a case of wait and see what happens now. Once it hits peak it stays there for 48 hours so id get BD tomorrow too just in case! And if you're really unsure maybe keep going every other day!

@Robyn101 congrats on AF! I know probably upsetting for you no BFP this month, but I still think really good news you've had first AF off pill and hopefully this heralds the start of normal cycles for you!

@FlyingGiraffe totally agree on the waiting!! It is v frustrating... I am not a patient person, but this seems to be all TTC entails!

I've just had my first possibly positive OPK! I'm not certain it was positive, but it is the first time I've had two proper lines on an OPK so taking that as a good sign anyway. Does it have to be darker to be positive, or if it is about the same colour does that count? To my untrained eyes it looked about the same / possibly a shade lighter than the control line.

We BD yesterday, and was planning on waiting till tomorrow to pounce on OH again... maybe I will try to convince him tonight instead now though. Looks like it will still be 24-36hrs till ovulation though from my reading so we have time hopefully!

@FlyingGiraffe I'm have OV pains/niggles of that makes a difference .. I'm new to all this it's our first time TTC 😭😂

@FlyingGiraffe I deleted the bleed I had on the 6th and this is the calendar now.. unless the one on the 6th was another withdrawal bleed? And maybe I ovulated late? I think the OPKS detects the surge in your wee so don't think the days on the app would affect that although I do get what you mean by the app thinking my cycle is 17 days.

@ChinChilly It's so annoying when you do a long walk and don't get your steps to say so! You've earned them and there's no proof! I managed 14000ish today so I'm happy with that! Wish we had a dog to walk, there were so many people out walking with them or on the beach with them today!

@Rmd123 It could be that then because it will think your cycle is around 17 days long so will expect you to ovulate early. Not sure if that would affect why it said 'peak' though! Good that you've BD just in case! Sure the OH wont be complaining! Haha!

Thanks @Mol234 your chart is looking good too. Today's temp is definitely in the right direction! It's really hard not to read into everything. This ttc thing is such a rollercoaster! I was thinking I will test tomorrow but I might try to wait until Tuesday at 11dpo (who am I kidding 🙈)

@FlyingGiraffe I think they are 1000mg, I just got the one labelled ‘high dose’ in wilkos 😂I also went for a big long walk at lunch time with the dog...annoyingly left my fitbit charging at home so didn’t get any of the steps on it 🙄

@FlyingGiraffe yeah so weird! If the bleed on the 6th was AF I'd be CD5 now.. unless it wanted to figure out when my fertile days were because I had a withdrawal bleed on the 21st dec.. sure we'll see what happens! We BD at lunch time 😂 not going to hold my breath for a positive this month but hopefully it'll happen soon.

@Rmd123 I have the Clearblue advanced ovulation opk's but they don't connect to an app. Mine say to start using them dependent on how long your cycle is - mine is around 27/28 days usually (there about anyway!) so they say to start using them CD7 or CD8 so it's funny it said to start using them so early after AF. Have you got any cheap opk's to compare against? Do you have any other signs like ewcm? It could be that your body is just settling after the pill. I'd get dtd just in case anyway!

@ChinChilly How much EPO are you taking? Mine are 1300mg and seem to work fairly quick.

CD6 here too. Feels like you're constantly waiting when ttc! Waiting for FW, waiting for AF to finish, waiting to be able to test! Distracted myself by going for a big (local!) walk this morning, but have been eating my way through the afternoon!

@Moocher90 yeah I think that's it, I was only on it for 4 months so hopefully will be back on gravel soon.. I'm actually getting slight ovulation pains as we speak lol
