It’s that time again, the 6th post-pill thread of ladies who are experiencing the highs and lows (mainly the lows…) of coming off the pill and TTC! Here you’ll find stories of delayed ovulation, crazy long follicular phases, crazy short follicular phases, light AFs, short luteal phases, long luteal phases, confusing temp charts and blindingly white OPKs, to name a few.

@Juno231 so sorry to hear about your loss xx its so much harder when we loose someone when we are so far away from our family xx I lost my step nan over New Year and I feel so sad that I can't be there to give my brothers and sisters a hug. Let me know if you need a chat x I'm here for you xx

For all of you that asked, no sign of ovulation yet... cervix is low and hard and OPKs are very light. Nothing happening here! Further tests re. inflammation on Tuesday and referral to gastroenterologist at some point... joy! Thanks x

@Cams50 @MissC07 @ChinChilly @LauraT94 thank you guys. I had such a wobble this afternoon. Looking back at my tracking 12 days ago I recorded a stabbing pain which could have been a late ovulation in hindsight (hopefully). None of my tests have been with FMU stupidly. I might do another tomorrow morning if no AF still. If nothing I will calls docs on Monday

@Sperr I'm sorry you're feeling rubbish about the BFN - totally don't blame you as you're so late! That's got to really mess with your emotions. Hope you're being kind to yourself and have managed to have a nice Saturday anyway x

@SalemsPot22 totally possible it's a BFP and as you're not using FMU it's barely picking up. OPKs show as positive when you're pregnant too - mine did and so did a few other people's on here! I'd say try and stop driving yourself mad over it and just wait until morning - keeping fingers crossed for you x

Got another shadow line. This is driving me nuts!

I’ve done one opk test today which had a pale line. 3 dip tests which had a shadow line and an Asda early test which had a grey line too. Saving the other one for the morning. Now 5 days late.

@ChinChilly Fingers crossed for your OPK. Hopefully your sinus issue doesn't get in the way and you can DTD then just rest!

@SalemsPot22 you'll need to test again first thing tomorrow morning. If it's a new BFP itll only show on concentrated urine. I hope it is a BFP

On the rona front..I bloody hope not 😂 I have got a cough but I’ve it for 7 weeks now & it just won’t shift, I’ve had 2 COVID test in that time both negative, I’m fairly certain its my sinuses playing up, sinus headaches are the worst!

@Sperr Sorry to hear your stuck in limbo, our bodies really can be fuck boys!

@SalemsPot22 are they ovulation tests or pregnancy tests your using? Sorry my brain isn’t engaging today I’m abit confused 😂

@Kay00 very frustrating but maybe if you can sort the inflammation then you’ll start ovulation sooner? Didn’t your GP say they were going to run some more tests?

@Sperr sorry about the bfn 😞 it would be so hard not to be convinced you were pregnant that late after AF.

I’ve done another two dip tests and they were both negative so I have no idea what’s going on. So frustrated with it all.

@sperr I'm so sorry! Did you track with opks only or with bbt? Sounds like you didn't ovulate when you thought you did :( what a mind f**k

@Kay00 I'm sorry you've gotten to cd33 without a peak! I think you're on to something about the inflammation though. How long do your flare ups normally last? My temp dipped again today so I think AF is definitely coming tomorrow.

@ChinChilly fingers crossed it's not the rona! Def discard that temp if tomorrow's is back to normal.

@SalemsPot22 a faint line on a pregnancy test?! Will you retest?

Thanks for your thoughts and well wishes ladies! Mum and grandad are unwell but stable - I'm afraid granny passed away after midnight last night though. She was 82 so had a good life ❤️

I just had a cry this morning. AF 9 days late and still BFN. I have so many symptoms so I don’t know what’s happening- OH was convinced I was as well. I just wish it would come so we could start the next cycle. I don’t know what I’m supposed to do now.

Huge blob of EWCM this morning, haven’t done a OPK yet but will this afternoon! With the EWCM I think I’ll have to power through my sinus issue in the interest of baby making 😂

@SalemsPot22 once the line gets darker I recommend you start testing 2-3 times a day, hold your wee for 3-4 hours if you can

@SalemsPot22 welcome! Things can go a bit all over the place when you first come off the pill. My first 2 cycles off the pill were around 40 days long, which was long enough, then the next couple were around 75 days long! Then each cycle got shorter until I got back to a more regular 35 days. It took me 9 months to get back to normality. Hopefully you won't take you nearly as long but sometimes it just takes a little while for things to settle down.

@ChinChilly oh dear! Does sound like you might be ill and that is what made your temp spike. Hope you feel better soon!

Cd2 here and feeling a lot better about it now, ready to start again! Just waiting for af to go away.

@Kay00 I think I’m ill, my sinuses seem to be playing up 😕 I get random flare ups of sinusitis so I’m guessing I’m having a flare up 🙄 any signs of ovulation for you yet?

@chinchilly morning! Odd! Either you have just ovulated early... or you are ill and should discount this temp. The next two days worth of temps should hopefully tell xx hope your not feeling too rough after such an odd nights sleep xx

@Moocher90 Sounds like ovulation is on it ways for you!

My chart is looking abit odd...I did my temp 2 hours later than normal and it came back as 36.84 so I used an adjustment thingy at it come back as 36.61, quite a temp spike. I had a crap night sleep last night, terrible headache I couldn’t shift and I work up in the middle of night shivering..odd 🤔
