@unCliche negative opk today and lots of pain in my right side yesterday afternoon, so think I am 1dpo today. Aw you're so close to finding out. I find the second week thr hardest as I look out for more signs! Come on ovens, cook us a baby! 😂

Thank you. Just a little house party with my partner and the pooch. I dressed up as elsa for her and was all a frozen theme. Here's the cake 😍 she seemed to love it all and had a big dolls house to play with. She's 4 but in aged 5-6 clothes, crazy! Doesn't get it from me, I'm only 5'2" haha x

@Pudding01 you'll be joining me in the TWW very soon then! It would have been nice if we could test together but I'm nearing the end of my cycle - 8DPO today. Solidarity 💪 we've got this!! I've had a bit of cramping over the last few days but I get that some cycles so it probably means nothing 😔

(Oh also, No judgement here my in laws do our childcare!!! Similar situation to you and I always feel like people will judge seeing them arrive at our house but it’s allowed )

Pretty much straight away I told DH - then text my mum a pic of the test the next day.

I have compromised! I've put the test in an envelope with his name at the front door. He can open and decide what to do!! Hoping he doesn't open it in front of everyone!

@LAgeDeRaisin well it is very early days, so I guess tell anyone who you would tell anyway even if it ends in mc? So definitely DH! Parents - depends how close you are and whether you and DH want some time just the two of you knowing first?
Don't mean to sound so depressing! Chances are it's a sticky one 😊

My cycles are always dead regular at 30 days. I got a negative white big fat nothing this morning on an IC.

Oooohhhh I don't know what to do now. Do I tell DH? My parents are staying though- maybe I shouldn't say anything? (they look after DD as we took her out of childcare to reduce the covid risk) (DH works full time and my doctoring shifts are really varied so we need some sort of childcare but were worried about nursery exposure while the cases are so high) (sorry for all the brackets I'm just always worried people will judge about household mixing- but it's literally only them we bubble with and seemed the lesser of 2 evils- exposure to 1 household rather than to 12)

Thank goodness for Mumsnet. What do I do?

BFN this morning but BFcold still going strong. Nobody else has it but I'm a doctor so might have got it from a patient/staff at hospital (despite all the PPE). So DH and DD might be in for it soon.

Have everything crossed for tomorrow morning 9dpo.

@Cc7750 yes, I enjoyed TRYING to drive a digger too Grin and like you, I won't be going anywhere near our house! I'd put a hole straight through the window. The digger is really old too and the controls are really loose and a bit wild. I am very happy that DH likes driving it that's for sure!

@EllyNC yep, am fine at the moment, thanks Smile Trying not to think about everything too much, but just getting on with work (or skiving on here actually) and other dull but necessary stuff!

@LAgeDeRaisin isn't the cold/sniffles one of the early symptoms of preg? If all your friends/family also have it perhaps it's a coincidence, but if just you it could possibly be a sign... I hope you're still feeling chilled out, whatever the result of your test this morning x

Been feeling pretty hideous for a few weeks but managing. Forcing myself to eat so I have some energy for my toddler! Haven’t got a date for my scan yet but think it will be in a few weeks!

@HerringGull congratulations My lovely! I’m so sorry to hear about your baby, it really must be such mixed emotions- sending lots of love! Are you feeling okay at the mo? Can’t believe you’re doing your own digging etc - so brave! My DH likes to think he can do handy things but in reality it takes him 6 hours to build a swing set hahaha so not sure we’ll ever be doing our own renovation 🤣 although I love the idea- very jealous you can make everything exactly as you want!! Same for you @Cc7750 you’ll have exactly what you want by the end of it ☺️ How exciting!!!!

@LAgeDeRaisin Aw chin up! This whole baby making malarkey really is the pits 😂 I completely get how you're feeling. I actually almost gave up on DTD at the beginning of this cycle's fertile window. Couldn't face anymore disappointment but I persevered! Our time will come, as hard as that is to believe 💕💕 hopefully what you have is just a cold and nothing more!
