Thread 2!
Will try to tag everyone who was active recently in the old thread, but sorry if I missed anyone. And if you're one of the many who got BFPs in the old thread and you're currently wading through the dark depths of morning sickness, feel free to ignore us 😊

@EllyNC the bleeding has totally stopped (at the moment)... Thursday is the key to the secret, won’t lie I’m not looking forward to the scan as much as I was but I have to keep telling myself ‘what will be will be’.. I’m generally quite a pragmatic person and try to be logical rather than emotional (aka a stone faced cow ha)!

Your a nurse, you go girl! And you need to be more careful at the moment I bet, between Covid and extra pressures at work! I cannot comment working from my sofa! 💪🏻🙌🏻

EllyNC · 11/01/2021 12:49

@HerringGull yup I’m a nurse so still working!! Nausea is just small waves at the mo tho so I’m managing fine!

@Cc7750 how are you feeling today?
Agree it’s actually mad what some people are being fined for. They need to be more explicit about what ‘local’ means as it’s very subjective.

HerringGull · 11/01/2021 12:47

@Cc7750 that's awful if they're fining people just for walking from their houses 😯 Exercise us important too eh?
I'm CD9 just now, will probably O at the weekend. Then another TWW, joy!

OP posts:
Cc7750 · 11/01/2021 12:38

@HerringGull hey, tell me about the routine of doing the same stuff is boring but people down here are actually being fined for going to places not classed as local!
It’s nuts as what is local, apparently crossing town (Brighton is quite large) is not local! So I’m basically confined to my lounge and kitchen!

Remind me again, where are you DPO or not yet? And where is everyone else? x

HerringGull · 11/01/2021 12:33

And @unCliche hope you're okay? Did you get results yet? Xx

@Pudding01 yes to action! 🤣 What a great time to be have FW - nothing else to do in mid-January in a pandemic is there. All I do is work, eat, exercise, DTD, sleep, repeat!

Hope your sickness is bearable @EllyNC Remind us, are you working atm? Hope not too tough being sick at work if so.

@Cc7750 thinking of you still 😊 Thursday isn't far away!

EllyNC · 11/01/2021 06:53

Hahah @Pudding01 love it 😂😂 and so much nicer for the guys when the pressure is off!
How is everyone else too?

Pudding01 · 10/01/2021 23:50

Glad the spotting has stopped @Cc7750

I'm ok thank you. Just had my uni weekend from Thursday so pretty spent! I think it's my fertile window too! Still not tracking but I feel "ready for action" 🤣 sorry.

Had some fertile cm at the end of my AF as well which was weird! But definitely having fun and DP doesn't know so no pressure for him x

EllyNC · 10/01/2021 17:32

Exciting- bet you can’t wait for Thursday to see your little bean! ☺️ Yeah defo just count yourself lucky if you don’t get much sickness haha!! Defo not something to worry about! 7.5 is great just another month and you’ll be in the nice bit ☺️ Have you told many people?

My nausea started properly with DS about 5+4 and I was really struggling by about 6.5 weeks - so trying to eat as much nice food as I can incase this time round is the same!!! Haha! Booked a scan for 7 weeks too as just want to know if everything’s ok!!

Cc7750 · 10/01/2021 15:14

@EllyNC I should be 7.5 weeks. Got other symptoms and the sickness is mild. Thursday will be the answer for me (scan)..

Can’t believe your feeling sick already, waves is enough don’t want more! So many of my mates didn’t seem to get sickness, it seems to have either got them bad or not at all

EllyNC · 10/01/2021 14:08

@Cc7750 totally know what you mean! Glad the spotting seems to have stopped ☺️ Hope the nausea is mild for you! How many weeks did you say you are again? I think it not kicking in till week 7ish is fairly normal?? Hope you’re feeling okay

I’ve been getting waves of nausea for the past 3 days... Very manageable! Almost wishing for it to get worse so I know things are fine even though I’m sure I’ll regret saying that haha!!

Cc7750 · 10/01/2021 13:48

Hey ladies, everyone ok?

So the spotting seems to have stopped (difficult as I’m lying down a lot so could start again). I have mild cramping but also woke up feeling sick, morning sickness or something else who knows... but if it morning sickness that’s not a bad sign! I’d rather not have it but I’d rather have if I have bleeding - if that makes sense.

Cc7750 · 09/01/2021 11:41

Thanks @EllyNC, I def need to stop googling things! And although I wouldn’t want anyone to bleed to hear that you spot bled and all was ok is good to hear.

Have a lovely day all, it’s so cold down here but it’s also perfect blue skies x

EllyNC · 09/01/2021 11:36

Oh @Cc7750 that must be scary but can definitely be common, you could always called your early pregnancy unit?! I had a bit of pain and a very tiny bit of spotting in my first pregnancy, I think I was about 10 weeks but they saw me! They discovered I had a little extra collection of blood or something (can’t remember what it was called) and that it was probably that. Said it’s Fairly common. I’d be reassured that you have no cramping and that it’s brown too. Try and doing something nice today to take your mind off it, not that that’s possible ❤️

HerringGull · 09/01/2021 10:34

Okay that's good! At least thats less than a month to worry 😊 Fingers crossed for you that everything's fine xx

Cc7750 · 09/01/2021 09:55

Thanks ladies, I’m booked for next Thursday. I called them this morning and no earlier cancellations so I need to wait.

Think I’ve also got to just watch it and see what happens. It will either get heavier or stop

HerringGull · 09/01/2021 09:49

That must be really scary @Cc7750 😔 Like Twinkle said though, not necessarily anything to worry about. Remind me have you booked a private scan? Would be good to put your mind at rest, or you might worry for the next whole month until the NHS one!

OP posts:
Twinkle1989 · 09/01/2021 09:32

@Cc7750 I think it's fairly common! Morning sickness comes and goes. The fact you've had no cramping is really positive

Cc7750 · 09/01/2021 08:35

Girls I’ve started spot bleeding, I’m basically 7.5wks so not sure it’s a good sign. Brown discharge and no cramping but putting this with no morning sickness... all I can do it wait I suppose

Cc7750 · 08/01/2021 14:19

Hey everyone, Happy Friday! How is everyone, any exciting plans for the weekend, accept cleaning, eating, lounging and repeating!

Pudding01 · 07/01/2021 18:39

@HerringGull cd11 today and just having sexy time when the mood takes us, which is nice. Feels a bit odd not poas and trying to be more controlled! Will hopefully ovulate between Sat-Weds!

@EllyNC great line! WW is good for me as i need strictness and guidance and I don't have that much imagine with cooking haha. WW works for me as carbs and sugar are my weakness and that's what they cut off massively.

unCliche · 06/01/2021 21:18

@HerringGull 1dpo I think! Glad to hear your PCOS hasn't impacted you too negatively. I'm still going to assume there's something wrong with me until proven otherwise! 😁

@Cc7750 ooh so exciting! You'll be seeing your baby very soon!

Cc7750 · 06/01/2021 20:10

@EllyNC I self referred last week, I just ticked the box to say I was over 6 weeks. You can’t do it in East Sussex before then apparently!

I have the private 8 week scan next week and apparently I will get an email next week from the referral about a 10wk appointment before 12wk scan

HerringGull · 06/01/2021 18:02

Also, where are you both in your cycle @unCliche and @Pudding01? I'm cd4, yawn!

OP posts:
HerringGull · 06/01/2021 18:01

Fingers crossed they don't find anything wrong @unCliche! I actually have PCOS and conceived in 3 months last time. I maintain a healthy weight though, and take inositol to help, so I think I'm on top of it. I guess if you just have the cysts but not the PCOS it'll be even less bother for you 😊

@EllyNC when I was pregnant last time I self-referred at 5 weeks, and they said 'ooh that's very early'! They didn't mind though 😊 Feels like it's more real once you've done it eh!
