Scared to test 15dpo

Hi ladies

I know this may seem ridiculous but does anyone else get too scared to test in case they see a negative? I'm currently 15dpo on cycle day 29, cycles are normally 27/28 days but once has been 30! I have a first response sitting waiting for me in the bathroom and I just feel too scared to do it in case I see a negative. I've had no symptoms whatsoever, either for pregnancy or AF, I have had so many negatives in the past cycles and they get me so upset that I'm almost wondering if waiting for AF would be less painful! We've been trying for about 6/7 months now. Do you think I should just bite the bullet and take a test? Feel like I'm going insane Grin xx

Sorry I went AWOL, was truly devastated as was convinced I was pregnant. I hadn't even considered a chemical, but maybe that would suggest why my period was 4 days later than normal? I'm not sure Confused it hit us both hard, but feeling a little better now and hopefully this cycle will be the one! Xxx

AF is here Angry 3 days later than I've ever been and clearly a false positive on yesterday's test :( I'm devastated! Xxx

So 14dpo. Cd26. BFN. Temp is highest it's ever been. 🤷‍♀️

@Leo090813 Yep, I've spent a stupid amount of money on them. I haven't got anymore tests in the house and will be using IC, I've ordered some for tomorrow.

It sucks seeing the BFN. I can relate. When will you be testing next??

Hi I'm new to mumsnet.

Currently 13dpo. Planning to test tomorrow. But yes I am also worried about testing and seeing a BFN.

Periods have always been irregular so no idea when I'm due. Last months luteal phase was 12 days. Previous month was 15 days.

We're still is shielding (have been since march) and I need to input my online shopping tomorrow for the last delivery before Christmas. So need to know whether I need to order alcohol! Lol x

Are you testing with FRER? I felt quite excited this morning but then did another frer an hour ago and it's stark white so I don't know what to think. Still no AF here either, are you going to test tomorrow? X

Ah I hope you're right ladies I'm just concerned that I'm now on cycle day 31 so shouldn't my line be darker by now? Confused xx

There's always hope til the witch comes! I have absolutely nothing, nothing when I wipe, no AF symptoms either! Tomorrow will be day 31 for me so I think if I don't come on overnight I'm going to test. I'm so nervous! My partner said I don't seem to have my normal pre period moodiness which I have to say I agree with, I feel happier than ever which tells me it's unlikely I'm filled with pregnancy hormones Shock but we shall see. Really hope AF doesn't come for either of us and we get the best Christmas present ever!

How frustrating! Fingers crossed AF doesn't come and you get your BFP soon!! Keep me updated! AF still not here and I now have no tinge when I wipe, if it hasn't turned up by tomorrow I'm going to test!

@Leo090813 OH gone to buy a digital so I can get a defiant answer. Still no sign of AF and woke up with really sore boobs which I have done for well over a week thats all really. Sorry to hear that!! I'm the same as you, if it's a no I want AF ASAP. Fingers crossed for you on the next cycle, I think I could be joining you xxx

Did you test? I've still got no symptoms but slight tinge when I wipe so think it's most likely AF coming late to the party Sad as too late for implantation so looks like it's onto the next cycle for me! Wish t would hurry up and come properly so I can work out my next ov day!

@Leo090813 I'm totally with you on this one! I basically see it as you could be pregnant until you take a test which could tell you otherwise so sometimes ignorance is bliss.

I compare it to checking your lottery ticket - basically until you check it, you could be a millionaire! Same with being pregnant 😂

Look at it this way..you’re pregnant or you’re not pregnant, the test will only confirm either way. I’d have to test if I was you! At 15dpo you should get a definite answer. Good luck x
