Hi everyone,

This is our first cycle TTC, and whilst I promised myself I would stay calm and collected, truthfully I am the total opposite. I can't switch off from thinking about it.

It's taken my OH a while to come to terms with trying to start a family. Whilst we have been together since we were 15 (now 27) he always wanted to earn more, to have a bigger house etc but he's come to finally realise that it's never the right time and we just have to go for it. I was so so pleased he was finally ready but promised we would keep it relaxed and calm. If it happens, it happens,

But working from home and not having anything else to do, I just can't switch off from my mind wondering 🙈 wondered if there was anyone else in the same boat who just wants to chat really?

I'm due AF on Christmas Day so it would be such a Christmas miracle if she doesn't come.

@Mariex1989 thanks so much!! Xxx

Mariex1989 · 14/01/2021 14:46

@ELBlack omg that’s amazing news!!! Massive congratulations so happy for you! Eeee so exciting 😊😊😊🎉 xxx

ELBlack · 14/01/2021 12:46

Thanks so much @Foundmyfeet that's such a nice message and reassuring! You're right, I'm sure everything will be fine! Definitely going to stay off Google, we all know how that will end up 😂 x

Foundmyfeet · 14/01/2021 10:51

@ELBlack oh bless you! Well that's just as good a way to announce your pregnancy to him! Lol!
I don't know if a BFP at 10dpo is an indicator of a chemical. What I do know is that you are feeling anxious now, understandably, but just relax!! You've got a "beautiful uterus" and therefore there is every chance that all will be perfect!! Try not to spend your pregnancy filled with worry because it will take the joy out of what is a happy and exciting time. It's a pain in the butt having to wait so long for the ultrasound for reassurance so you'll just have to find ways of relaxing. And back away from Dr. Google. This is so exciting!! ❤️❤️

ELBlack · 14/01/2021 09:17

Thank you so much @Foundmyfeet I am sooo excited.

I told my DH although I had plans of telling him in our favourite spot on the South downs but I actually fumbled into the bedroom looking for the lamp sobbing 😂😂 I've also told my sister because she has 3 DS's.

I think im naturally anxious, because it's all so new and I've never done this before, but do you know if getting a BFP at 10dpo is more likely to end up in a chemical pregnancy? X

Foundmyfeet · 14/01/2021 09:09

@ELBlack - YEEEEEEEESSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!! I JUST SCREAMED MY HOUSE DOWN FOR YOU!!!! YEEEEEESSSSSSS!!!!! I'm so ecstatic for you! Lots and lots of sticky bean dust for you!!! Other than us, have you told anyone else? Whoop whoop!!!!!

ELBlack · 14/01/2021 07:46

Morning ladies!! There's no denying this!! Soooo beyond happy. Really hoping it's a healthy, sticky bean 😍 xx

Foundmyfeet · 13/01/2021 22:11

@ELBlack OMG!!! I'm getting so excited for you!! Please, please don't be an indent line!!!

ELBlack · 13/01/2021 17:27

@Mariex1989 not until Monday. So even still it's really early to test now. I think I will do a test at the weekend and then of that's negative or questionable, just wait for AF...

Mariex1989 · 13/01/2021 17:22

@ELBlack hopefully it isn’t an indent. When are you due on? It’s still early days so plenty time for it to get stronger 😊

ELBlack · 13/01/2021 16:49

@mariex1989 The more I think about it, the more I'm sure it's a Savage indent line. 😩Only because I keep checking it and it's got fainter and looks so similar to the indent line on the unused one

Mariex1989 · 13/01/2021 16:30

@ELBlack can definitely see something!!! Eeeeek exciting! I’m a bit dubious about first response as that’s similar to what mine looked like last month and was just a hideous indent line. But hopefully this turns into a nice strong BFP!! 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻 x

ELBlack · 13/01/2021 14:23

@hopefully2021 right!! I'm 9dpo, and I was feeling tentatively excited, but something in me said to open the unused frer and check for indents and there is a very faint grey indent on the unused one 😭 my line is pink, but I've now convinced myself it is because of the reflection on the test line. Going to try tomorrow or Friday with FMU

hopefully2021 · 13/01/2021 13:52

I can definately see a faint line @ELBlack, how many DPO are you?xx

ELBlack · 13/01/2021 12:58

Hi ladies, freaking out. I think I have line eyes, and worrying its an indent. Checked within 2 minutes, and DH and my BFF can see the lines. Do you see them too? Very, very faint

@Mariex1989 I think the dip must be a fluke because I'm sure there's no way it's even possible to implant that early. Clutching at straws 😂😅 I'm feeling fine thanks. No glaringly major symptoms just a few bits which could be related to AF or just general life so really trying not to look into them so much.

How are you?

Mariex1989 · 11/01/2021 22:41

@ELBlack I’m not clued up on the temping and patterns so wouldn’t know unfortunately.
I’ve seen people post about the dips though so fingers crossed it’s a good sign 😊. How’re you feeling?

@Foundmyfeet that’s amazing well done you! Especially well done on refraining from the snacks, you’re stronger than I am! Snacking and wine is definitely my weak point.
Wow 7 months! We’ve been engaged almost that long and only just started planning. It’s going quite smoothly surprisingly so far 🤞🏻 (Famous last words) xx

ELBlack · 11/01/2021 17:16

@Foundmyfeet haha me too! I thought it was a really funny thing for her to say.

Ah that's interesting! I'd never heard of that, and tbh although the scan did give me peace of mind, I then started worrying about my DH's sperm 😂 not that there is anything wrong with it, but I'm such a worrier I just didn't want to take the scan as gospel that everything would be OK. This ttc thing is exhausting isn't it! So many different things to worry about 😂🙄

Anyways, going to try and hold off testing as long as poss and STOP symptom spotting!

Foundmyfeet · 11/01/2021 15:47

@ELBlack hoping that the hereditary "fertile Myrtle" gene exists and it's been passed down to you! Lol! The beautiful uterus made me laugh out loud!

I don't mean to pee on your fireworks or anyone else's for that matter, but I recently spoke with someone who had her first child at 45 via IVF and she said that she was diagnosed with a uterine septum after many rounds of IVF. It covered the majority of her uterus and was not and cannot be picked up on a ultrasound. Apparently, the only way to get an accurate picture of the uterus is to have an Aquascan. Once this was discovered and fixed, she conceived and carried her child to 38 weeks after more than 10 failed IVF's and 2 MC's. I too had an ultrasound a couple of years ago thinking it covered all bases. I have made researching this Aquascan stuff one of my task for this week.
I have no idea about temping and charting...I did it for a while but was losing the will to live. But I asked Dr. Google for you and she said, "yes it does." Fingers and toes crossed!

ELBlack · 11/01/2021 14:42

Does*

ELBlack · 11/01/2021 14:41

Hi all, I know this is probably a bit desperate 😂🤦‍♀️ but doss anyone know if your resting heart rate can dip around implantation? I stopped temping last month as it was affecting my sleep, but just seen this on my weekly garmin report. The dip was on the 7th which would have only made me 4dpo which I know is highly unlikely to be implantation dip, but that day my rhr was 52, which seems strange....

ELBlack · 11/01/2021 11:27

@Foundmyfeet well done you! That's excellent!

We paid for it privately, just because I wasn't sure what was going on and I'm a control freak so I wanted to know 😂 apparently I have a 'beautiful uterus' though lol.

I'm really hoping that we get a BFP but I do feel like AF is going to come early. No cramps or anything, just a feeling that something is going on in there lol, and I think I'd be so shocked if it was a baby that I almost don't believe it could happen so quickly!! This is our 2nd month ttc although last month I never caught my peak and hadn't even had a period since having my coil removed, so I suppose it could count as first. My mum got pregnant with me and my sister 1st month ttc so I'm hoping that if that's something you can inherit, I've got it 😂😂

Foundmyfeet · 11/01/2021 10:16

Morning ladies! How is everyone today? I hope you all had a good weekend.

I had a sneaky glass of red wine on Saturday night and it was delicious! I was disciplined though and stuck to just the one. My DH was tucking into all kinds of goodies and although my mouth was watering, I didn't relent. So now I'm 8lbs down and 4dpo. Feeling good albeit a little knackered.
@ELBlack - hopefully it's lucky left for you this month too! Apologies if you have already mentioned this, but how did you get in for a scan? Was it all good? Fingers crossed that you get a juicy BFP this Saturday so sending a ton of baby dust to you too!

ELBlack · 09/01/2021 11:06

@Foundmyfeet water is key! Well done you. 7lbs is amazing!!

I also ovulated from the left this month. I only know that because of the scan I had last month to see what was going on in there and they said I ovulated from the right 🤷‍♀️ fingers crossed and baby dust for you!

I peaked last Sunday so I'm either 5dpo or 6dpo depending on how you look at it, and I've been dreaming every single night since about 2dpo. I don't know whether I'd call them 'vivid' or not, but I don't usually dream, and if I do, I don't remember it. Itching to take a test now, but going to wait until next Saturday I think, as that will be 12dpo. Fingers crossed for us all this month 🤞

Foundmyfeet · 09/01/2021 10:14

@Mariex1989 a wedding! Oh how lovely! DH and I were married within 7 months of getting engaged. Funnily enough, I didn't get stressed out with the organising which is very out of character for me. And it was a beautiful wedding; small and intimate. But I understand that all the postponed weddings of 2020 add stress to the planning now.
@ELBlack my DH calls me a camel because I've been drinking gallons of water this past week. I've now lost 7lbs. Whoop, whoop!

So DH and I have been BD-ing. Managed to get a few "sessions" in over the last 3 days. So fingers crossed that a healthy egg popped out and some good sperm found it! Had pains in my lower left side so reckon I ovulated from the left ovary. Normally I feel it only in the right side. Maybe it's lucky left this month!
