I am in a bit of a dilemma.Had a laproscopy last month and got a period last Tuesday.Myself and hubby had unprotected fun on Fri night...day 4 of cycle.Today day 7,I did an advanced digital test and it has come up as high fertility. My cycle is usually 28 days..is pregnancy a possibility if I ovulate soon?Id be delighted if it was but don't want to get my hopes up x

It's possible but not likely.
That said, I have a child from sex on day 5 of my cycle and another from sex on day 7.
Added to that level of odd I also conceived from sex on day 30 ( mistook ovulation pains for period pain).

I have had more pregnancies from sex at the wrong time than the right time 🤣.

I normally have a very regular cycle of 30 days with ovulation around day 18. Go figure 🤷‍♀️

Pink is period
Dark purple is peak
Lighter purple is high

Hi - something similar happened to me. I had peak fertility on day 8/9 and then again day 13/14 - I flapped but this was actually the cycle I conceived on! Here's my CB chart

It's not uncommon - I suppose we all just have a spot light on our cycles right now!

So the body thinks it's released an egg, but it doesn't rupture from the follicle and realises after a few days and goes on to release another 🙃remember it is totally normal xx

Ok thanks for your reply.I didn't realise that about the egg at all before CD10.Thanks for the info. If I ovulated on CD 9 or 10 it obviously wouldn't be a possibility either

@Sanne48 Hm normally if before CD10 it's deemed the egg would most likely not be viable for conception. However, I doubt it is ovulation to be honest - high fertility just means your oestrogen is surging right? So could be the start of fertile week but you could still ovulate in 5 days or so from now.

Alternatively - it is not uncommon to have multiple LH peaks during a cycle, so if you get one now, carry on testing in case you have another one later in the cycle. Ultimately you can only really confirm if you track your BBT!
