Yep so you were all right. Temp way back up again this morning. 6dpo and still feeling absolutely fine no symptoms at all except for a blocked nose which I seem to get everytime I'm in the tww so nothing uncommon.

@Dex1521 your luteal temps are generally nice and high, so that's a great sign that the body is nice and warm, and that the progesterone levels are really good.

Greeneyedfairy · 15/01/2021 21:19

@Dex1521 I get the urge around 10dpo 😂 it's a long TWW isn't it. I am going to do an opk tomorrow, cd10, just to see what's happening and take it from there. The last few months I have been ovulating on either cd14/cd15.

I am currently making a list so I can ring in an order to my local health shop tomorrow. Has anyone tried the Biocare methyl pregnancy multinutrient? A friend of mine who is a nutritionist told me to start using it as it has folate which absorbs better than folic acid.

Dex1521 · 15/01/2021 21:02

@Greeneyedfairy not that I know off but could have easily and maybe just not remembered it. When I woke today though I was dying for a wee which is uncommon. I'm not too worried anymore though what will be will be. Trying to stay positive and calm this cycle 😂

Can everyone also appreciate that I've made it to 5dpo and not tested. This is when I started testing last cycle don't even have the urge to test

Greeneyedfairy · 15/01/2021 20:57

@Dex1521 try not to worry about it, as I bet it will go back up again in the morning. Do you wake during the night, or did you have a more disturbed sleep?

Dex1521 · 15/01/2021 20:55

@Greeneyedfairy yep 7am on the dot as I get up the same time everyday

Greeneyedfairy · 15/01/2021 20:54

@Dex1521 I presume that you are taking your temp at the exact same time every morning?

Greeneyedfairy · 15/01/2021 20:53

@DrS44 did you do another opk this evening? My temp tends to rise a little in the follicular phase before it dips again for ovulation. I find it hard to read charts that aren't FF. I have been up the walls too with work, as the school closures have caused a lot of issues for parents, so I am trying to do my own job, as well to tend to tasks that others aren't able to due to them having to work from home. I never get headaches, so it's most definitely a sign I am exhausted.

Dex1521 · 15/01/2021 20:51

@Greeneyedfairy that's good to hear at least it's above the crosshairs still, I'd definitely be more concerned if it went below. Not sure how to do an overlay but I've attached this cycle (first pic) compared to my last cycle (second) this cycle is totally different to last I'd say in both before and after ovulation which is the first time it's been different. Usually I've been having a pretty steady same pattern.

Greeneyedfairy · 15/01/2021 20:45

@Emmgrem I noticed that you got a positive opk on cd 18, but your temp surge started cd17. I wonder what your temp will be tomorrow morning, and whether FF will give you crosshairs 🤔

Greeneyedfairy · 15/01/2021 20:40

@Dex1521 temp fluctuations in the luteal phase are normal, and all you can do is see what your temp is in the morning. The highs and lows of temping, so to speak...well literally. Can you do a chart over lay and compare previous months? I use my Ava bracelet, so I get to see my heart rate, breathing rate etc.

Dex1521 · 15/01/2021 20:34

@Bells20 yeah we shall see I always thought 5dpo could be too early for implantation but read a lot online about people getting a surge of estrogen at 5dpo and ended up with BFPs but trying not to get my hopes up. I'm also taking factors such as I was wearing thinner pyjamas and I woke up with my arms out of the quilt and I could've had my mouth open. If I have another dip between 7-10dpo I'd be more convinced that would be implantation 😅

Had 3 ciders tonight but could only take a mouthful of the third - started getting a guilt trip Incase I do end up with a BFP. Also OH made homemade kebabs using that vegan kebab meat (I'd never heard of it but tasted amazing) so bloody stuffed after that! So onto the water for me tonight.

AMS19 · 15/01/2021 20:30

@GreenApplesYo I can live with that!! Although reality is more like a retake for a failed exam 😂😂😂

GreenApplesYo · 15/01/2021 20:20

@AMS19 Maybe you're now doing your PhD? 🙂

('A PhD in baby-making' sounds like it could be a line in from Austin Powers movie. If Austin Powers shagged a sexy professor).

Bells20 · 15/01/2021 19:55

@Emmgrem so pleased for that peak for you!! How interesting that yours happens so late at night, would totally miss that if you were just testing early afternoon like most of the advice says! Hoping for some lovely temp increases for you over the next few days to confirm!

@Dex1521 as others have said really don't worry about that drop, it's defo still above cover line and could be implantation.. see what it does tomorrow I suspect it'll go up! Also don't worry about the bath, a bit hypocritical of me as I'm still absolutely avoiding caffeine even though I know it's fine to drink 😂 but apparently the hot bath thing is just because it can make pregnant women feel dizzy and faint, it'd be quite hard to raise your core body temperature from a normal bath temperature from what I've read.

@DrS44 any updates on OPKs from later in the day?

AMS19 · 15/01/2021 19:39

Love the new name! What am I now classes as?! 😂😂 maybe we need "returners" in there too 🙋‍♀️😂

Long day and I came home wrecked... Raining mad here... Really you ask, in Ireland 😅 I had a horrible headache and had to lie down for an hour or so before it went... Thankfully it is the weekend at last... 😊 Making a cuppa and turning on my laptop.

GreenApplesYo · 15/01/2021 15:02

@DrS44 new thread name gets a 👍from me 🙂

Dex1521 · 15/01/2021 11:07

@DrS44 haha love that! I'm aiming for graduate this month I've had enough of the student life 😂

DrS44 · 15/01/2021 11:06

Ohhh very quickly from me (haven't read responses yet!)

When I couldn't sleep I thought of this name for the new thread

"The international university of BFP: POAS Students, Graduates & Alumni 🌟"

... I seriously need a hobby 😅😅

Dex1521 · 15/01/2021 09:50

@PowerOfFlowers hope my chart ends up like yours then resulting in a BFP 😂

@Emmgrem has girl for that peak!! Get the sexy knickers on and DTD 😂 hoping it is to do with implantation I've read a bit on google about how it could be an estorgen surge like @AMS19 said

@CardioQueen you had me dying at lethargic turd😂 made me genuinely laugh out loud

@PowerOfFlowers my OH read that too and told me about it. I couldn't believe it. It reminded me of that program "I didn't know I was pregnant" I used to love that haha

CardioQueen · 15/01/2021 09:28

@PowerOfFlowers honestly 🤯🤯 also as the baby grows how does it stay hidden? Even if you were quite a large person, it's a different kind of bump to just putting on some extra pounds?!

Some pity for these people though because how terrifying to be suddenly told ok, you'll be giving birth this week/in the next 24 hours/etc. literally no time to get your head round it and no preparation or anything! 😱

PowerOfFlowers · 15/01/2021 09:24

Yay @Emmgrem !! I was thinking how you were getting on with it 😀 Just keep testing at the same times you did yesterday today and it'll become more obvious. Haha yes to the taking pictures, I did exactly the same 🤣

@CardioQueen and @Dex1521 There was a woman on the news last night, her partner felt something kick in her stomach and realised it was a foot. She didn't know she was pregnant and was full term! Delivered a healthy baby. The way I felt at 6 weeks, I don't know how she didn't know!

CardioQueen · 15/01/2021 09:19

Woo @Emmgrem that's a great peak! Hard to tell from your chart atm though, I think you need to put an updated chart in on Sunday so we can see how the temps go over the next couple of days ☺️

And yes @Emmgrem and @Dex1521 I have to remind myself of this regularly - there are so many women who don't know they're pregnant for ages and obviously are doing loads they shouldn't be (drinking being a big one) and going on to have healthy babies. I am baffled though. I have mainly felt like a lethargic turd since last Weds (bang on 6 weeks). There is absolutely no way I'd have got past Thurs last week without thinking hold up...something is either seriously wrong or I am pregnant. I cannot fathom that everyone doesn't feel exactly the same as me, which I'm aware is very narrow-minded 😂

Emmgrem · 15/01/2021 09:09

Girls, I got my peak!!! 💪

@PowerOfFlowers you are a hero as I followed your advice on when to test and found it late last night! So proud 😂 my DH didn't understand why I had to take so many photos. It's still high this morning so can't work out if I ovulated yesterday or still yet to ovulate today or tomorrow. Can anyone predict it from my chart? I'll DTD tonight and Saturday don't worry!

@Dex1521 I wouldn't worry about that drop either, I've seen loads of charts with jagged climbs after ov but as long as it stays above cover line is the main thing. Also could be implantation dip 🤷🏻‍♀️ Also funnily enough I had the same thing with a friend going on a crazy holiday drinking and going down water slides, then finding out she was 5 months preg when she got back!! Just shows you.

@DrS44 your temps are heading in the right direction but it wouldn't confirm ovulation you'd had 3 temp rises. Definitely temp next cycle all the way through as it's more accurate than OPKs. But also don't lose hope yet after what happened to @jessi60 and @CardioQueen and others with late ovulation. Keep DTD to cover yourself!
