That's it then... last day temping. This is my chart... now I'm off to forget about it until af shows xxxx

Hi @Dex1521 Yes, I did temp right through my cycle. It was useful and I'm glad I did it. It helped me understand what was going on etc. But I only started tracking everything in November. If I hadn't got a bfp, I would have carried on tracking bbt to my next cycle just so I could compare it etc. Hope this helps ☺️

jessi60 · 17/12/2020 21:57

@AMS19 Thanks for your advice. I’ll do a couple over a few days when my ones arrive in the post and see how it goes then I’ll stop! I’m at work tomorrow so it will take my mind off it.

@Dex1521
I didn’t do temperatures at all. Don’t know how much it would for me cause I do day and night shift, don’t think I would get it accurate xx

AMS19 · 17/12/2020 21:55

@Dex1521 I did. I dont think it is necessarily helpful as such, because I had a drop which made me think period was coming but it must have been an implantation dip. But I did like doing it for a bit after the BFP to give some comfort in all honestly! Plus, fun seeing the lines go green when you get a BFP 😂😂

OP posts:
Dex1521 · 17/12/2020 21:51

@AMS19 @GreenApplesYo @PowerOfFlowers @jessi60 @Bells20 and anyone else with a BFP did you temp right through your cycle and if so did you think it was useful to do so?

Dex1521 · 17/12/2020 21:49

@Emmgrem yeah I think I’ll stop due to not wanting to be disappointed but still torn if I will or not as also think it would be good to have a baseline to look back on from my most normal cycle.

Just wish it wasn’t such a wait for everything to progress why can’t it be a the two day wait instead of two week wait 😂

AMS19 · 17/12/2020 21:43

@jessi60 definitely nothing you can do. The other thing is if you were further along then it could be hook effect. From 6 weeks my test were SO light because my HCG levels were too high. I think the FRER tests or Cn digitals are the only way to really see how HCG is progressing, then after 6 weeks no point testing as it goes backwards xx

OP posts:
jessi60 · 17/12/2020 21:37

@AMS19 Mine was lighter than your picture. It was a strip test aswell but you know the really thin ones. Thanks for your help though. I’m trying not to over think it! I’ll see what it’s like when my other ones come. I guess it’s nothing I can change is it. So positivity ❤️ x

Emmgrem · 17/12/2020 21:30

@Dex1521 @DrS44 So how come you guys would stop temping? I hadn't even thought of it.. Is it because you don't want to be disappointed if temps start to drop? I think I will keep temping because if I do get AF then I want to have one proper complete cycle to base everything on and compare to next time round. Especially as it's my first cycle and a bit of a weird chart anyway I think, so trying not to get my hopes up too much (though it is hard!)

AMS19 · 17/12/2020 21:20

@jessi60 sorry also to add if you look how light the one before was! Shows how quickly it can change. So I really wouldn't worry at this stage at all xx

OP posts:
AMS19 · 17/12/2020 21:20

@jessi60 okay so let's go with you ovulated on 25th then you're about 3 weeks post ovulation so yeah let's say 5 weeks pregnant. ICs are gonna be pretty light at that stage. They are crap to be honest, mine rarely got strong. The 3rd one down on my photo would have been around 5 weeks. Every test will be totally different though and so it is so hard to compare. I would stick to one brand if you want to monitor progression xx

@AMS19 Well I don’t know how it all works. My last period was 6th November so that’s 6 weeks today. But I had that opk peak on the 25th November and that was the only day we dtd. Before that it was well over a week before hand because I wasn’t well.

So implantation says it’s commonly between 8-9 days. Soo even a week would take me to 3 weeks yesterday. I know you add the whole 2 weeks thing on. But maybe my levels are still low. God knows it’s like guess work! X

AMS19 · 17/12/2020 21:02

@DrS44 no probs. Save your CB digitals until your period is late! Just use a FRER to start with

@jessi60 how far gone do you think you are?

OP posts:
jessi60 · 17/12/2020 20:55

It didn’t attach 😂 (this is an ovulation test though lol)

jessi60 · 17/12/2020 20:54

Might just stick to ovulation tests, look at this bad boy 🤣

jessi60 · 17/12/2020 20:51

I mean I think I’m exaggerating when I say barely visible because you can see it I just thought it would be a lot darker. I don’t think I’m as far along as my last period is making me. Cause I’m convinced it was when we dtd on the 25th November and then it takes a few days for implantation so maybe that’s why🤷🏻‍♀️🤞🏼
I ordered some more first response but just the normal ones so I’ll check using them when they come. Christ I can’t cope with his 🤣 x

DrS44 · 17/12/2020 20:50

Thanks for your help @AMS19

On the test notes I'm bringing some FRERs home, and I've one CB Digital how many weeks one?! When do you take them?! Are they for later? Xxxx

Dex1521 · 17/12/2020 20:47

@jessi60 I looked up the freedom test reviews and there is so many bad reviews on them telling people to stay clear of them so I wouldn’t worry too much they don’t seem too good

Dex1521 · 17/12/2020 20:42

@jessi60 I’m sure it’s all fine. Maybe buy a digital or FRER a better branded one and use for reassurance. I’d stay away from £1 pregnancy tests. It’s some are nearly £15 a test how can a company make them so cheaply but effective if you get me

jessi60 · 17/12/2020 20:31

I had a cheap £1 pack of freedom pregnancy tests. So I did one today and the line is like the faintest line ever so now I’m really panicking ☹️ X

AMS19 · 17/12/2020 20:03

@drs44 whoop! Much better 🙂 xx

@Dex1521 @DrS44 That would be lush! Keeping my fingers crossed for yous.

I can’t help with the temperature chart things cause I’m clueless 🤣🤣

DrS44 · 17/12/2020 19:53

@AMS19 you're actually a pro! I have no idea what I'm doing 🤣🤣 it's worked now 🥳
