I got bored of POAS and trying to hold my wee everyday 😂 And oh yes that's right I remember you saying about your sisters wedding 😬 have you already got the bridesmaids dresses? We have a wedding in Jamaica that got postponed to next Sept so that would be the downside of getting pg this month.

@PowerOfFlowers if Xmas day was 12dpo that would be ideal but I don't think I could wait another day and not know whether I can drink!

@Dex1521 my testing plan is exactly the same as yours then 👏 I know what you mean about jinxing but I'm telling myself that I'll use the baby grow present idea whatever month it happens.
Oh wow I just looked up Nintendo switches -they are expensive! Was that an early Xmas pressie? You're a lucky girl! I've heard so much about animal crossing but no idea what it is and I get addicted to games quite easily 😂
I have no symptoms today other than the nipples. All my stabbing cramps etc seemed to happen just after ovulation 🤷🏻‍♀️

@DrS44 Hoping AF doesn't come in full force 🤞 there are things you can do to lengthen your LP though, it seems like a really common problem post pill

@Bells20 Oh that's a hard one- I can understand your dilemma! I guess it depends how comfortable your family are with it. At least the tests are peace of mind.
So glad to hear you had the nipple symptom too, however don't think I could cope with it carrying on haha 😆 sooo painful! Had to keep my bra on when we DTD yesterday 😳

Another symptom update because why not 🤣 everytime I get up off a seat or do something I get a short stabbing pain on my left side in my uterus area. Where my kicker elastic would sit like in between my thigh and where normal cramps would be (sorry for the long winded explanation). I’m laid in the bath and just sneezed and it was so painful for a few seconds then went again. Did any of the ladies with BFPs ever experience anything like this? Could that be an implantation cramp because it’s on one side? Also maybe I’m thinking about this too much 😂

@Emmgrem I'm in two minds about it now as I'm in tier 4 so technically shouldn't see my family but I'm also lucky that I do COVID tests twice a week for work now anyway so I can be fairly confident I don't have COVID if I did see them. Currently undecided so the announcement is tbc for now! My nipples have been permanently alive since getting my BFP btw. I've never been this aware of them before! Water from the shower hit a nipple the other day and I screamed because it was so painful 😂

@Dex1521 good idea to keep busy! I'm on leave now until jan too but my OH is still working so I've been holed up in bedroom making my way through Schitts creek on Netflix.

@DrS44 oh no! I'd still like to say I'm hopeful it isn't AF as implantation bleeding can sometimes last a couple of days but you of course know your body best. That's really frustrating about your LP, I've seen people take something called Agnus Castus I think it's called and that's supposed to lengthen it might be worth looking into?

@AMS19 am I right in thinking your scan was/is today? Please do let us know how it went!

Wish I could just go to sleep and wake up and be 12DPO so I could test 🤣 I’ve been teaching myself to crochet this morning which wasn’t too successful and my OH bought me one of those nintendo light switch and animal crossing and I can confirm I am addicted 😂 he was so sweet he has been thinking of ways to keep me distracted and thought he’d treat me to something different ❤️
I’m off work now until 4th January and after doing the deep clean of the house I was going to do Xmas Eve boredom has kicked in

@Emmgrem Funny you should say that. A few days before I got my BFP I was looking at my nipples thinking they looked different and thought they were sticking out more🤣

Deffo keep your digitals for a few days after you get your positive. They can take a while to show up on there! And they expensive lol!

@Dex1521 Mine was my second month technically but classed it as my first month as it was my first month since having a proper period! Xx

Just a quick update, nothing this morning but went to the loo there and wiped and there was red blood! Nothing again but I'm almost certain it's AF. 💔 gonna have to have a think about how to move forward. These 7/8/9 days luteal phase cannot be good x

@Emmgrem yeah third cycle since coming off pill but first cycle after first proper AF so I’m counting as third but most will probably think first cycle 🤣 I think I’ll test on Xmas morning too! At 11dpo. Was going to do it Xmas Eve at 10 but like you say it can be hit and Miss. if it’s a BFN at 11dpo going to wait for AF and if a no show I’ll test again. Haven’t got any digitals yet I try keep as little tests in the house as possible as I’m a testing psycho 🤣 if I got a positive FRER I’d nip out and get one to use in a couple days after BFP on FRER

I was going to do that for OH but going to leave it until it happens as I had jinxing stuff lol I’ll sneak out and get something to give to him if I can manage to not blurt it out in front of him straight away 😬

Some more symptoms that have arisen today is a dry tickley throat which I can’t clear with water/coughing is so annoying. But other than that I’ve had no more mild cramps like this morning and feel generally fine

Ahhh @Emmgrem that will be a lovely way of telling your DH ☺️ I didn't test until 12dpo, and I'm quite glad I held out until then because the line was strong by then.
My last cycle I tested 2dpo 😂😂 😂

Ohhh @AMS19 I'm still waking up early too, I was 4.30am yesterday. I managed to sleep till 7am this morning which was amazing! Only my cat is happy that I'm awake so early 🤣

Zero judgement over here as well @DrS44 I totally understand how you feel. Hope your DP manages to get over in time 🤞🏻

@Emmgrem ya maybe it is too early to rule it out, just feel like I’d never normally ovulate this late, and my temps seem a bit funny too! 😂
My sister is getting married first week of October next year and I’m bridesmaid, so if I fell pregnant this month I’d be due the week before her wedding, I know she’d freak! She didn’t want to fall this month! 😂 although I did want a normal cycle! 😐

I agree, the temps and opks are tedious! Like what am I meant to do if this is anovulatory? Keep doing OPKs 3 times a day JUST incase I do ovulate late?! 😂 I actually can’t cope! I will keep doing it tho, I think it’s good incase you need to show doctors at any point, to have the full cycles all charted! Not good for the sanity tho! 😂

@Bells20 nice to hear from you. How are you getting on? Are doing any Xmas announcements or does everyone you're seeing already know now?

@positivitytree2020 I feel like you're still early enough in your cycle to not rule it out completely that things could change? How come you didn't really want to fall this month again?
Sometimes I think it's probably less stress to not temp or take OPKs. But then I'm in two minds as I feel like if things didn't work then doctors might take it more seriously if you in armed with charts/evidence and knowing your body really well etc

@Dex1521 they do say third time lucky! 🤞 was the first cycle when you'd just come off pill or is this your third cycle after your first proper AF if that makes sense?
I'm still thinking Xmas morning as 11DPO seems like it should give a pretty good chance of an answer, whereas I've seen a few people test 10DPO and nothing has shown up until 11 or 12 days? 🤷🏻‍♀️ Ive bought a baby grow to put in a box for DH and to wrap up with the test. If it's not my month I figure I'll still give it to him like that when it does happen.
Have you got any digitals set aside to try if you get a positive FRER? I don't know if digitals show up as soon as FRERs, don't want to waste them..

@AMS19 Seeing your early morning posts has made me feel so grateful that I'm back to sleeping through the night. I do get up a few times for a wee but am falling back to sleep luckily!

@Emmgrem @positivitytree2020 I was just going to say the same thing about this thread making it seem like it's fairly easy to fall pregnant straight from contraception, I think we've been very lucky but it definitely isn't the norm I don't think!

@Emmgrem thanks I’ve definitely had a more textbook cycle this month which I’m hoping helps me this month 🤞 my third cycle let’s hope third times the charm. Will have to keep each other posted on results do you know what day you’re going to test?

Thanks @PowerOfFlowers! I don’t think my cycle is irregular as such, the last 3 cycles have been spot on! Wondering is this just a blip cycle, I’ve stopped the B6 coz I have a feeling this has caused it! 😐
I’ve looked up charts like mine in FF and they are all showing up as anovulatory! 😂 so just want to write off this cycle now and start again! I didn’t want to fall pregnant this cycle anyway but would have liked my cycle to be normal for peace of mind!

Ooh lots to catch up on! Quick morning update from me.. temp back up but still pretty consistently close to cover line now. My nipples have never been so sore and bolt upright as they were when I woke up this morning 😳 cue me googling like mad the difference between pms nipples and pregnancy ones 😂

@DrS44 no judgement here, don't blame you at all when you haven't seen your family most of the year and Xmas is the time most people have off work in order to see families! I think they should give us all more bank holidays later in the year when this is all done 😂
If you can't test with DH then will you test alone and do him a surprise announcement when you see him? If AF doesn't arrive..

@Louisa199 I didn't keep testing as I was so sure it was rubbish, since I already had temp rise and EWCM earlier on in my cycle. I tested 24 hrs later and it was back down to 0.27. However we did DTD yesterday so we'd be covered just incase! 😅

@PowerOfFlowers It's crazy how it took 8 months to regulate your cycles. Really makes me wish I came off the pill sooner. Then I would know what normal pms symptoms are for me too 🙈

@positivitytree2020 It's totally normal for it to take more than 1-2 goes, but I guess where this group has been pretty lucky with falling straight away it makes it not seem that way! That's annoying how your bbt stayed up until after AF. Just shows there's no absolute correct pattern to any of this!

@DrS44 For three days I had it. Just a small amount. Like after I went to the toilet and wiped and it was quite light in colour and the same the next day and then the third day it was a small amount but dark brown in colour. It was only one time each time and never happened again during the days. It was so odd. Don’t know whether it was related to me going on to be pregnant or not. Was strange.

I certainly am not judging, I’m lucky enough to be able to go to my parents still and it be technically allowed within tier 3. I’m working Christmas Day aswell 07:30am to 15:30pm ☹️

Morning everyone! So another temp dip this morning at 7dpo - good or bad sign do you think, is 7dpo too early for implantation dip?(trying to stay positive and not think about AF). Was also up twice last night for a wee between midnight and 3am which is so unlike me. Other than that nothing else is different just plodding along through this tww

@DrS44 definitely no judgement if we were able to get back to NI we would’ve done the same just didn’t have the money with moving house. Hope you’re ok and your OH can get back in time so you’re together xx

I'm wide awake can't sleep. Mind is racing, feel super dizzy/lightheaded (most likely the gin!) and I've got the strangest sensation down there 😅 like butterflies/full/heavy?! So odd! I suppose I'm not used to AF feelings so it must be that on its way!
