Wasn’t too bad just got to nip the the butchers sometime to get the turkey and that’s it all done. Pork and cider gravy sounds amazing might bail on my own dinner and come to yours 🤣

@Foxl2222 yeah gonna “try” and hold on to test until Xmas day which will be 11dpo but we all know I’m the worst POAS addict lol

Thanks girls. I’m so anxious already. I keep waking up really early aswell between 4-5am but managed to get back off to sleep.

I’ve just done another clear blue how many weeks, felt sick doing it incase there was no progression but it’s now saying 2-3 weeks so that’s a week difference since last week 🤞🏼

I would always just first morning urine if you can for pregnancy tests, think it will be more accurate. @GreenApplesYo shows that it isn’t always the case. I did my test on the afternoon to be honest and it wasn’t even an early response one but then my period was late by then. If it’s the clear blue ovulation test then you can use that with fmu but better to do normal opks on the afternoon.

@foxl2222 hehe yes it's the opposite with OPKs, just to confuse us 🙂

Sorry just to add, is it the opposite with opk's? I think it's best to test later on the day? Well, I'm hoping this is the case as I've just had a major dip in OPK this morn 😂

@Dex1521 I'm almost sure with most tests it's best to use FMU. But think the super sensitive ones like frer say it's doesn't matter what time of day. Are you testing on Christmas morning?

@Dex1521 great your temp is still high 🙂interesting you keep waking at 5am as well. Not to get your hopes up too much, it could be anything, but a few of us with BFPs have had that early on?

FMU is recommended for pregnancy tests, but I had stronger results in the evening. When I was doing obesesive testing (...oh dear) I did it at 8pm after a 3hr hold. I'd give FMU a go first though as I think the HCG is supposed to be stronger in the morning?

Hope the Xmas shopping went well? I've got everything except meat for the roast. There is a big butcher/farm shop here, so going after breakfast to see what nice small joints of meat they have (it's just for me and DP). It's not very traditional, but I was thinking maybe pork shoulder with a cidery gravy.

Temp is still high (36.8) down from 36.91 but still high and where I’d like it to be. Going to test tomorrow I think - I’m sure I’ve asked this before but had a memory like a sieve for the past week, is it best with FMU or holding for a few hours then testing around lunch? Also as mentioned having real trouble staying asleep and have no idea why other than that my aching cramp doesn’t seem to be here today

Benefit to being up I’m off to Morrisons to brave the Christmas shop when they open as 6am 😂

@Emmgrem aw atleast you have the support there that’s great. I’m losing hope tbh I know I’m only 8dpo but this weird ache I’ve had all today and the BFN makes me think AF is on her way. I only got to 12DPO last cycle before she showed so it’s only A matter of time 😞. Will still test on Christmas Day (11dpo) as planned but not holding out for it anymore.

I’m in a weird mood today my right nipple has felt so hard and sensitive to touch but left is fine. And still a dull ache in my uterus hoping it’s gone by tomorrow. A definite lesson I’ve learnt today is don’t test too early as you’ll end up a miserable lump like me 😂

@jessi60 I think it might have been ligament pain/stretching pain? The burning was really odd and could last a few hours. It only happens occasionally now. Hopefully you just have the same thing as me (whatever it is haha! Seems harmless though).

So hard not to worry, either in the 2ww or the 12ww.

@Bells20 Oh god I can totally imagine that anxiety level. Stressing before it happens and then a whole other thing to worry about once it's happened and you realise what you've got yourself into haha. I haven't even let myself think that far ahead!

@Dex1521 Haha love that you tested again today!! 😆 I've actually been freaking out about whether to even test as early as 11DPO now. I really don't want there to be any doubt about it, but at the same time the baby grow arrived today and made me want to wrap it ready for Xmas morning just incase even more 🙈
You know what, I actually let slip to two friends today that we're ttc. One of them told me she was first, so I thought we could go through it together at least. It's really made me feel better how supportive they've been and I'd definitely want them there if things got tough.
I've had stickier CM today and googling that leads me to think there's nothing to suggest that's a good or bad sign either way 🤷🏻‍♀️ 28th day of our cycles now though right? So I'm taking that as a positive in itself that we've got this far.

@jessi60 Glad you're getting seen so quickly. Better safe than sorry! Let us know how you get on. I wonder if a scan will be able to tell you more precisely how far along you are if you aren't sure on the date they gave you.

@PowerOfFlowers oh i feel for you with the brace situation! I remember that well with the pokey wires. I remember one time they clipped the end of the wire off and clipped my inside cheek by mistake 😬 I cried! Take it as an excuse to eat lots of ice cream is my advice, or really strong whiskey swished round your mouth works a treat (obviously spat out whilst preg haha!)

@jessi60 hey! Great you could get appointment for tomorrow. Just to let you know, I also had some pain on my left side for a while, which has gone now. Sometimes it was like a stabbing pain, sometimes it was more of a burning sensation. I was fine in the end although it did worry me! Hopefully you'll at least get to see where the baby has implanted 🙂fingers crossed it's all OK for you, too.

Still feeling shocked and sad about Ams' news from yesterday (Ams19 if you're reading the messages I hope you're OK). Agree with everyone who said TTC can be a hard journey. It's a shame it doesn't get talked about more.

haha yep it’s like we are slowly losing the plot. The doctor said the worrying doesn’t stop and that she’s got a ten year old and still the same. I was like brilliant I’m no good already at this stage 😂 xx

@PowerOfFlowers it’s all on my left side. Like a dull throbbing pain. It comes and goes. But it’s been consistent the last few hours. It’s not really bad though, more like an annoying uncomfortable feeling. She did say the usual it could be things stretching etc. I wouldn’t of been as worried if it was just like central just more worried cause it’s always the same side!

I feel the same to. Nearly started crying in the Doctors 😂 just feel so anxious all the time. And then not seeing people and being at work all over Christmas. Feeling right sorry for myself.
Hope you feel better soon. Think of your lovely straight teeth after the pain.. be all worth it!

That was quite efficient service😂 I’ve just got back, my gp asked me to go in so she could feel my stomach and do my blood pressure etc. She’s booked me for a scan at 12pm tomorrow so hopefully I can see something, might have to be internal if it’s too early or if not then a blood test for the HCG level. They dated me at 6 weeks and 4 days from my period. But think I’m more like 5 weeks to be honest so don’t know how much a scan will show! Let yous know how I get on. Xx

I'm 5+3 today, feeling a little emotional / sad - i think its being away from family over Christmas, hormones, stuff that's happening around us, waking up at 4.30am and not being able to eat properly because I got braces fixed two weeks ago and one of the wires is digging into my cheek. Wax doesn't help it when I eat. Managed to get an emergency appointment to try and fix it tomorrow and I hope they can. Weird how everything happens at once!

@jessi60 as much as I dont believe you're ever a drama queen, I hope you are on this occasion and that everything is fine! Definitely always better to get things checked out if you're worried isn't it! Hope the EPU see you soon!

@Dex1521 I definitely find myself falling into that superstitious trap too but it's totally just magical thinking my lovely, imagine one of us had said we thought we jinxed it because we looked at baby clothes I'm sure you'd put us straight in no time 😉 just a few more days and you'll know for sure! Try and keep busy until then if you can.

I’ve had a weird feeling in my uterus since around 2pm as if someone has put it in a clamp and holding it dead tight it’s just a constant dull ache not like an AF cramp. I was looking at baby clothes in matalan today and I’ve got this bittersweet feeling AF is on her way as I dared to look 😕 I’m so superstitious so probably being stupid. I’ve not had that on and off stabbing pain in my left side today though which I had yesterday so I’m in two minds weather it’s AF or implantation can’t make my mind up

@Dex1521Yeah hopefully I am being a drama queen but I’ve had it a few days now. And it’s stressing me out! The thought of having a scan makes me want to vomit though, hate the unknown. Xx

@jessi60 definitely not being a drama queen always best to get checked! I’d be the exact same.

I’ve just rang my gp to try and get a referral to the early pregnancy unit. I keep getting a pain on my left side, where your ovaries are. It’s really uncomfortable. I don’t know if it’s normal or me being a drama queen and convincing myself it’s an eptopic pregnancy😩 Waiting on a phone call back. Xx
