Whoops I just hit send too soon. @AKcheer I absolutely love a spreadsheet, use them for everything! I find it really bleak when I think back to our naive conversations in March / April last year, thinking oh we aren't quite ready let's give it a few more months, thinking it would happen overnight! What eejits we are lol. And then I remember the first month I really thought I was pregnant. I think trying for 12 cycles is fine... My GP didn't seem too worried about dates when I spoke to him.

Thank you @jules5232 it's nice to hear from a fellow spotter. I remember you spotted the month you got your BFP didn't you. Ugh god it's just a waiting game for me! Xx

Rose2108 · 23/02/2021 21:05

Omg girls I did a little test... It's got a tiny line on it, I'm not sure you'll even see it... I am not getting my hopes up just yet, I'm only 10dpo and will see what tomorrow brings. But I've had no blood today, just v small amount of brown spotting. I don't have any proper tests in the house, only those strip ones. So I'll go out at the weekend and buy a proper test if AF still has not showed up!

@Rose2108 I was going to ask if you've tested yet too. As a fellow spotter I understand how aggravating it can be. I was told though that it's perfectly normal, just old blood working it way out.

@AKcheer I hope the conversation this afternoon goes well and they can work out a plan if something seems off. Having a SA would be do weird, I cant even imagine! I personally measure by cycle numbers, but I dont know what's right. I wanted my number of months to be as low as possible as if it mattered LOL. But then my doc said she goes by when we stopped using protection which would be almost 2 years! So I say don't worry about the cycle number too much if they are letting you have testing now.

AKcheer · 23/02/2021 14:05

Hey guys, hows it only Tuesday?
@8LPS AF hasn't come yet, i'm due today or tomorrow. I thought it would be today because of my pains but I think I might be tomorrow. I took a cheapy today and obviously stark white - so white haha. Oh that's such a nice idea I love that!
Ooh yeah i'm sure the seven seas do cause heightend issues to be honest! Pregnacare was worse for me so i'll just stick to these seven seas ones....see how they go! Oh man I love Jane's Patisserie!! yumm sounds delicious! I made some duffins (mix between donut & muffin!)

@Rose2108 That's so strange, have you took a test yet? I'm due on today or tomorrow and I thought it was today after my mini meltdown the other day but it's not here. Took a cheapy (not FMU) & it was stark white, so stark! But i'm sure my AF will come if yours does as we're so in sync haha. But I do hope it comes tomorrow so I can then focus on it and focus on next month. I'm expecting it now and I had my cry at the weekend so i'm ok. Although if it does come tomorrow then this cycle is a 28 day cycle and my ovulation was on CD14 - how textbook is that...so where's my baby!??
Husband has a call with doc this afternoon so hopefully it will be ok, hes going for his SA tomorrow LOL which we can't stop laughing about. It's weird you say that, I never use to get PMS really but since TTC I feel messed up too lol...it's weird!
Blood tests usually take 3-5 working days for results! And also I always think how did people back in the day do this? Like they all seem to have just fell pregnant. How did they even know if their period was coming? God man is it just harder these days lol! I was just updating my SPREADSHEET lol & i'm actually going to be moving onto cycle 9 after AF....wow....I started in Aug 20. Does a year trying mean 12 cycles or from AUG to Aug!?

@AKcheer It has been bizarre, was spotting on Saturday night through to Monday morning (got heavier overnight Sun/Mon), then nothing for 24 hours... and then a bit more this morning (Tuesday). I think probably AF is coming today and this has just been pre-spotting which I seem to get every month lately (I do feel more like AF today with some cramping and "heavy" feeling). I'll keep an eye on it, but as I was actually due today I expect it will arrive! What about you, has she arrived? I'm so sorry you felt so down yesterday :( hopefully the test results won't be too bad, and something you can work on together! You both sound very healthy and you are ovulating with a normal cycle etc! You have no reason to think you cannot have children xxx

I am sure before I started TTC, my cycles were fine? Like totally normal, 28 days, 5 days of regular bleeding. Now I have nausea, bad cramps, spotting, etc! The AF lasts about 8 days with spotting. I don't feel like I am stressed to be honest, but something is clearly causing it.

How long do blood results normally take? I was thinking as they were on Friday I would call on Weds.

@8LPS - My cycle is normally 28 days, I start spotting CD26 and I ovulate around CD19 normally. It just all happened a but sooner than normal this month. I think it is all to do with egg quality etc so will see what the blood results say and go from there!

I have tried both seven seas and pregnacare and had no symptoms with either tbh. I prefer the seven seas as they were smaller! But a few people do report of odd symptoms. I haven't heard of the conceive plus ones, I will look them up!

Haha, lavender is very hardy, it will come back I bet!!

OMG I am obsessed with Jane's patisserie! I made her triple choc brownies on Saturday and had to then deliver them out to all my relatives to stop myself eating them... I've made so many... the kinder bueno ones are my fave!!

I do find with this TTC I just go from obsessing over one small thing to another... At first it was the ovulation tests, then the BBT, then had one cycle where my hubby didn't....enjoy it, then it was all about ovulating late, now it's all about spotting.... I do wonder if I should just throw everything away and start from scratch!!! I always think well both my Nan's had six children with no smart phone apps or OPK's! Lol xxx

8LPS · 22/02/2021 18:23

@KerryW87 – Argh I totally missed your message about the good news from the SA call! I'm so pleased for you both, and it must be such a huge relief! I didn't know stickiness could even be an issue?! Glad the ball is rolling for you guys to rectify it!
Haha I'm clueless about BBT as well!

@Akcheer – Oh no :'( I'm so sorry. Has AF come yet? It's so annoying, just wish it would happen already now! Hubby will disappointed for a bit just like you are, but this will be a brand new cycle and a brand new opportunity for you to have another go. Me and DH agreed that when we feel like shit when AF comes, we do something nice together that evening, like do a puzzle or play a game or something. Last time, we did some mindful colouring together and it was soo addictive and peaceful!
Ooh, and about the pre-natal vitamins, I have decided to stop taking the Seven Seas tablets. There is review after review online about them messing with peoples' cycles/O days and reports of people suffering with heightened AF symptoms – I wish I did some research before buying them! Before them, I used the Boots brand vitamins which were fine so I think I'm going to use them again. I only got the Seven Seas ones because they were slightly cheaper!
Oh, I baked last weekend as well! Mini eggs cookies from Jane's Patisserie – I absolutely love her haha! I've been doing more yoga as well, I love a good full body stretch flow.

@JLP256 – Thank you! Looking forward to the next appointment now! Although I'm usually like a human colander because they can never seem to get my pesky tiny veins haha! But it's all worth it :)
I'm sorry you haven't yet had a positive OPK..that's really odd, but I think I agree with you that it's these vitamins that are probably doing it. What brand of supplements are you taking?

@Lynne425 – 10 mile walk sounds v tiring, but amazing!
I take Seven Seas 'Trying for a Baby' tablets, high strength Vitamin D, cod liver oil and also turmeric tablets. Vitamin D supposedly helps with tiredness and (I think) mood!

@Rose – Good luck with your bloods result! Did you make the call yet to get the result?
Oh no I am so sorry AF arrived. I hope you're feeling ok. If the cycles were a bit more regular/normal it might help a little bit to keep track of everything?! I'm guessing this will change the day that you have your Day 21 bloods taken? What's your average cycle length?
Ugh I wish I was a keen gardener, or even a half-decent one haha! It sounds like you have a beautiful garden!!! I love a bit of lavender. Last summer I potted some lavender with the correct soil/grit etc (after watching numerous instructional YouTube videos) and then October-time I trimmed the tops off, and they still look dead. I thought I'd watched enough videos to get it right! Ah well, hopefully they'll start looking a tiny bit more alive when it gets hotter.
I agree – meal planning is the best thing to do if trying to be good! Plus it saves me from standing around in the kitchen every evening wondering what to cook. Yes I love cooking! We recently got an airfryer so I'm loving playing around with that atm. I have quite a bit of plain flour to use up before the date expires soon so I'll be baking lots of cookies too! Lol the treats are what keeps us going so I don't blame you for trying to savour every last crumb haha!

@jules5232 – I'm so glad your scan went well! Hearing the heartbeat just sounds so exciting!!! Was your hubby allowed to be in there with you? Good luck at your next appointment :D

Girls, I've decided to stop taking Seven Seas 'Trying for a Baby' tablets because I've gone from having hardly any AF symptoms to feeling mentally and physically AWFUL, and for 2 weeks before AF starts. I looked at the Conceive Plus tablets online, and I think they look good. Has anyone used them before? Anyone have any opinions on any other brand? I'd love to see what you have to say about them :) Thank you xxxx

AKcheer · 22/02/2021 18:23

Bleh it’s Monday.
@Rose2108 oh god I just saw your message. I’m so sorry AF has come. That’s so annoying. That’s definitely a short luteal phase this time? Is this shorter this time?
I know, this is so hard. I had the longest cry in the shower yesterday to be honest so today I’m ok. AF is coming slowly I feel it, when I wipe I’m seeing a bit of red so I imagine tomorrow it’s going to gush out. Gutted but what can you do?
Hubby had blood tests last week and doc wants to talk to him about cholesterol and thyroid. I hope everything is ok - I mean I’m concerned about thyroid because it can cause low fertility and cholesterol is just shocking. Hubby is very healthy and gyms so much and has a strict diet too so god knows what’s happened there. He has his semen analysis on weds but don’t think we will get results until a week or so!!
It’s just so disheartening, I can’t help but feel somethings wrong :(

OP posts:
jules5232 · 22/02/2021 15:29

@KerryW87 I completely understand that. We had a couple of chats like that over the year, just trying to be honest about expectations. It's so much harder when you think you're about to get awful news. It's great when you get good news though and dont expect it at all! How are you feeling so far this month?

I'm doing good, my scan on Friday was reassuring. We were able to see the heartbeat on the monitor and all looked good. We go back again in 2 weeks for another to hopefully hear it this time.

Rose2108 · 22/02/2021 12:24

She's officially here guys... So Ovulation CD18, spotting from CD24, AF full flow from CD26. Not good :( I am sure my cycle gets more bizarre each month.

Rose2108 · 21/02/2021 20:46

Aww thanks for the positive vibes @KerryW87, sadly it is normal for me to spot before AF but just not this early (started CD 25). Seems like I did a good job at bringing my ovulation forward a few days, but that has a knock on effect on my whole cycle and my AF just came earlier! 🤦 I haven't had much more today, just when I wipe, but I know it's her on the way...

@AKcheer I feel you 😔 this month has been different because I had bad nausea last night (ate as normal yesterday), and I've also had alot of twinges on one side, no AF cramps just twinges. I'm not gunna symptom spot too much because as we all know... The signs of AF / Ovulation / BFP are all the bloody same!!! I expect tomorrow I'll properly come on and it will just be a very short cycle for me. I'm sorry you're getting cramps. Just feels like a never ending journey doesn't it. You'll feel better in a few days but this is definitely the time in my cycle I always feel the most hopeless. Sending hugs xxx

AKcheer · 21/02/2021 17:59

Hey guys getting such bad period cramps :( just waiting for her to come now. Feel quite shit today. It’s so hard because I see the disappointment in hubby too when I say oh no I’ve got period cramps :(

@JLP256 I’m feeling rubbish today. Due on Tuesday and got period cramps and bad back so just know she’s going to arrive. Ergh damn these people who get pregnant on the first try. When is it our turn!!!

Omg @Rose2108 it might be implantation?? Have you had any more. Ooh this is exciting. Is it different to any normal spotting you may have? Hope your nan enjoyed her afternoon tea! I’ve got bad back and period cramps today so either she will come on Tuesday or she might be early and come tomorrow. Feeling gutted :(

Hey @KerryW87 I have a bad back and period cramps today so I feel like she’s coming. I’m not going to bother testing because it just feels like it’s on it’s way and I don’t want the disappointment of a stark white. I do feel shit though today tbh. It does feel shit. I just really want it to be my turn and I’m getting so sad because I know hubby gets down about it too but doesn’t show it

@Rose2108 Aww that sounds like an ideal Sunday! Enjoy it! ❤️

Ohh I wonder! It would be spot-on timing for it to be implantation bleeding! Do you normally spot the days before your period? It's such an emotional minefield with symptoms in the TWW but I'm going to keep everything crossed this is a good sign! 🤞

Yeah, going ok! Although I didn't start until day 3 because I was waiting for the thermometer to be delivered. I test at the exact same time every morning and I don't sit up or do anything before I test, but my temperature has gradually risen every day? It was 36.21, 36. 29, 36.31 and then 36.40. Is that normal for the start of your cycle? Clueless 😂

@AKcheer Aww I totally feel for you :( It's so disheartening putting your heart and soul into it every month and then getting AF symptoms. Although cramps can be a symptom of both so don't give up hope yet! When are you going to test? I so hope it's soon for you, it just feels like forever doesn't it. Keeping everything crossed for you for this cycle! 💕🤞

Rose2108 · 21/02/2021 10:12

@AKcheer same as you ... Tues! Eek! Ugh it's mentally exhausting isn't it. Keep looking at my bbt cjart as if it's gunna tell me something!! Going to go and enjoy my Sunday before AF probably ruins my week next week!! It's my Nan's 80th today so going to drop a little afternoon tea and some flowers off xxx

Rose2108 · 21/02/2021 10:10

Morning Ladies, I'm having such a nice Sunday morning! Been drinking tea in bed and catching up on some TV!

@Lynne425 that sounds lovely, I'm going for a walk with my friend shortly too. She's due on Tues so I hope she doesn't go into labour!!! I do take some vitamins but just general ones like B complex and C. Hopefully that will give you the boost you need. I too love a good lounge wear set! So good to hear you're doing well xx

@KerryW87 great news re the SA! You've managed a BFP before I feel like it's just a matter of time for you, keeping everything crossed. How's the bbt?

@8LPS I had mine Friday 😊 so hoping to get the results next week. Yes, I absolutely love gardening. I get so excited when planting the seeds in March and then seeing them flower in summer! I just think it's amazing 😂 and my hydrangeas and roses that come back better each year just make me so happy. I can spend hours out in the garden. To be honest my mum has always been really into gardening so from a very young age I was out in the garden growing bits and bobs. I love seeing the bees on the plants too 😊 have you got many flowers in the garden? I find once you have one or two nice ones that don't die it gives you the confidence to do more!!

I find with the "diet" I just have to be really organised. I plan out all the meals on Sunday night, or else if I don't know what I'm doing I end up going rogue! I find WFH makes it so much worse because I get so bored and snack, working so close to the kitchen! We actually don't have any naughty bits in the house at the moment which makes it easier! It also helps that the husband is trying to lose the Xmas weight so we are savouring two rich teas together each evening as our treat 😂 it's so hard. We have good and bad weeks. Just trying our best. Agree, we bloody love carbs! Do you enjoy cooking? I find batch cooking healthy meals helps!

So last night at 7DPO I felt really sick. I noticed a small amount of spotting and I've had a bit more this morning. I kind of know after months of dissapointment that this is just spotting before AF (due Tues), and all my other symptoms (like sore nipples, twinges and feeling tired) are AF symptoms too. But we are only human and I can't help but feel like it could be implantation bleeding... I mean 90% of my head is saying don't be silly and there's this tiny optimistic voice like... It could be?!

Lynne425 · 21/02/2021 09:42

Hey All

Hope your all well. The weathers decided to break today and it's actually dry so meeting a friend to go a 10 mile walk after lunch so that will be good to clear the head.

Does anyone take any vitamins or supplements for health?! I've started with Arbonne this morning with their 30 day glow up bundle. Hoping that will make me feel physically better and something to do over the next month!!

I know I can't take some of them if I was pregnant due to the vitamin a so that's why I thought I'd give it a go this month since I def won't be pg!!

PS - isn't it funny how a new comfy loungewear set can make you feel soo much better lol xx

JLP256 · 21/02/2021 07:32

@AKcheer it could still be your month, you never know! How are you feeling? When is AF due? Sorry to hear about the pregnancy announcements, I know it can be so hard. Two of my friends got pregnant ‘on the first try’ in the past few months and it’s just like - how?!?

@KerryW87 great news about the SA results :)

@8LPS glad to hear the day 3 results came back ok and that you’re all set for the next appointment!

Hope everyone is ok. I’m on CD16 and still no positive OPK. Usually get it on day 14/15 except for a couple of weird long cycles recently, but I had put that down to the supplements I was taking! I’m using the CB 2-day window ones (the pink ones) and the second line on the little stick hasn’t really appeared. Very weird, wish I was tracking BBT this month now! Trying to DTD every 2/3 days anyway and hopefully will catch it if it ever comes!

AKcheer · 20/02/2021 17:14

Hey all! 10dpo today but had back pain and cramps so think AF is on her way over the next few days. When is it my turn ahh!!

@Rose2108 I’m glad the convo with your hubby went well! That’s stress of your shoulders! How are you feeling? When’s AF due? Hopefully it doesn’t bother coming!!
No problem at all! Ahh that sounds good. Boxing is really good! I know it’s hard to get motivated at home but you just have to push yourself! You’re fine!! Size 12/14 is great!! Ahh that’s so good you’ve lost some! Fitbit is a great way to track as well!!

@KerryW87 hahaha it never gets old this TWW. I actually have had some back pain and cramps today I’m 10dpo so I think AF is coming. Due Tuesday/weds so I think this is my normal rubbish i get before not feeling positive. I just want it to be my turn!!
Also what great news about your OH sperm results!!! So he seems to be fine!! This is great and at least you don’t need to stress about it! At home tests can always be a bit weird right and not accurate!!! Ahh so glad for you!!

@8LPS we are! I don’t know sometimes I really struggle especially when I hit 7DPO. I’ve been fine this month I’m 10dpo today but today’s the first time I’ve symptom spotted and thought about it. And drove myself mad! Ahhh don’t worry if you haven’t been able to take your BBT - might naturally end up being a relaxed approach everyone talks about! I never track BBT. I just know I won’t be able to - il forget etc so no point lol
I’m glad your bloods came back ok!! So good!!
No plans! Baked earlier, then did some exercise and yoga! How about you?

OP posts:
8LPS · 20/02/2021 09:26

Good morning all, I hope you are all well 🙂

@AKcheer - that is really strange. I feel like we’re very similar in that way, as I hardly got any AF symptoms before TTC either. Ah you’re in the TWW. Good luck! Are you usually able to keep busy and take your mind off it in the TWW?
Im on CD10. So it’ll be that time of the month again soon. For the last 2-3 weeks I’ve been forgetting to take my BBT in the morning and I’m so annoyed with myself! Haha when I’m half asleep it’s hard to remember! 🙈
Oh I really do feel for you, finding out about the 2 pregnancies 😞 it will be your turn and yes it will definitely be worth the wait 💕

@Rose2108 - thank you, good to know it’ll be ok if it isn’t 7DPO exactly. When is yours booked in for? Mine is booked for 4th March. Dr also said that I should have a vaginal swabbing done too! I think that’s to check for chlamydia.
Thank you! Yes, a new cycle. I’m trying not to see it as a fail, but a new opportunity to try again.
That sounds lovely! Yeah it’s supposed to be getting a bit warmer this weekend although I can’t quite feel that yet, I’m still freezing haha! Are you a keen gardener? Me and DH are absolutely hopeless so we got everything slabbed and decked up last summer and we’re currently on the look-out for some garden furniture.
Thank you so much for sharing about the treatment cost/details, and what healthy foods to eat! Me and DH have been watching a TV programs called ‘Secrets of Your Supermarket’ and it’s great for tips on what to eat! Good luck with the appointment, I know it’s in April but it seems you have a lot of tracking to do before it! How are you managing with it? How is the weight loss going? I feel it’s such a struggle for me in the winter because all I want is hearty carby comfort food! Actually, that’s all year round! 😂🙈
I can see why you felt like this about raising SA with DH, but hopefully he we’ll see it as a positive step forward in ruling things out. My DH didn’t mind - I think he just wants it over and done with and just find out if there’s something up. Plus we found it really funny 😂 The earliest that the hospital could get him an appointment to take his sperm in is 4th March!

@Lynne425 - so glad your surgery is over, and I hope AF comes soon. Hopefully you can have a chilled out weekend with some nice choccies or a little treat of some kind, and relaxing. I hope you are feeling ok 💕

@KerryW87 - how did your partner’s phone appointment go with the Dr? Sometimes they like to talk to you over the tiniest little changes! Hope you’re ok!

I got the results from my Day 3 bloods and everything was normal thankfully. I’ve booked in my second blood appointment for 6DPO, on 4th March eeeek!

Does anybody have any plans for their weekend? Hope you’re having a good one ♥️

KerryW87 · 19/02/2021 19:35

@jules5232 Thank you! We had a very teary conversation last night about preparing ourself for bad news given the home tests - chatted about how we'd maybe be best to sell the pram/cot/baby things we had for wee J since we lost him as far along, so the two of us were very much down in the dumps last night and now today we feel like we've got a truckload of newfound hope 😂🎉

How are you feeling? xx

jules5232 · 19/02/2021 17:13

@KerryW87 that's such great news!!

KerryW87 · 19/02/2021 16:32

@JLP256 Ah do you usually get one on 14? Mine are around 11-13, hopefully it's the same for you and you'll be ovulating this weekend right enough! 🤞

@AKcheer Ahh it doesn't matter how many times we do the TWW, it's always a nightmare with symptom spotting! I'm glad you've been busy at least, distractions are your friend 😂 I so hope this is your month!

@Rose2108 Ah brilliant! Glad your partner was all for it, it'll just help to know where you both are! Hope your bloods come back soon too! Mine still aren't back but it's only been a week to be fair, will chase them up on Monday.

So, my partner's sperm analysis! After two home tests taken a year apart and both coming back "low" we really feared the worst. His GP phoned him today and whilst she didn't give him a copy of the results, she assured him that all aspects of his test were "normal and as they should be". I'm thinking even if they were slightly bad she would have mentioned it so to say we're delighted is an understatement! There was only one issue and it was viscosity or as she described it "stickiness". She's referred him to a urologist but I think it's something that can be fixed so far better in my eyes than poor morphology or motility! We'd both set ourselves up for the worst and even talked last night about having to give up...but no chance! OPKs and pineapples at the ready 😂❤️ xx

Rose2108 · 19/02/2021 14:19

Thanks all for the comments re the SA, I mentioned it to him and he was actually fine! So that's good. I also had my bloods done today, 3 different samples so will see what they reveal...

Thank you so much @AKcheer for all the info and inspo! Star That is such a good idea, I do have a skipping rope and sometimes I will do a bit of boxing, skipping and then general aerobics on a video. But to be honest when I am at home I never push myself like I do in the gym/class! I seem to be more motivated when my husband is in the garage too as he does a lot of boxing and puts me to shame! I am very much a yoga & walking kind of pace... but I do want to push myself, as feel so good after.
I am usually a size 12, at the moment I am in 14 bottoms (tops still fitting okay), I'm not too bothered by it, but by the summer I want to be back in all my clothes! And not have to buy new ones! Lol. I a tracking cals on fitbit, and have lost a few pounds already so just need to keep going.

Sorry you have had moooore announcements.... so frustrating isn't it. V interesting re tiktok! I had to delete it as I was addicted hahaha.

@KerryW87 how did it go with hubby's results? Fingers crossed all okay... temping is really good honestly, so insightful!

@jules5232 let us know how you got on today lovely :)

I think we are good for some time on this thread... I thought it was 10 pages but it's 1,000 messages!! So we good! xx

AKcheer · 19/02/2021 11:07

Happy Friday!

Found out 2 people are pregnant in the family yesterday - of course they got married after me so obviously they are pregnant!! Don't know how I feel...I just said to my husband yesterday, when is it our turn :( I know it's worth the wait, and I know there is a path set-out but it's hard! I want this happiness too! Great to start off with a moan!!

@Rose2108 oh wow! I never knew that....I wonder if it feels uncomfy or what it feels like! You'll have to let us know haha! Exercise is ok - not as great as I want it to be, but I need the gym! I'm such a gym bunny! Just doing yoga and exercise at home and walking but it isn't the same. We have weights and stuff but it's still not the same...it's hard to get into it!
Your initial meet with the fertility consult sounds good! Please keep me updated along the way. Sounds like they are going to do loads of the tests and hopefully if there is anything you will know. I mean hopefully you will fall pregnant by then and need to cancel your appointment!! Oh wow that's an interesting article. To be fair, I see a lot about Chinese medicine nd fertility on TIKTOK - there's a massive TTC community on there guys...I actually scrolled across one yesterday and the Chinese fertility expert was saying that they don't even believe that age has a factor!!! That's a good idea to see how it goes and you might as well change your diet - you have nothing to lose!!
I saw you want to lose a bit of weight before your appointment? What do you reckon you'll be doing to help? I'm quite slim size 8 (sometimes 6 in tops)….never on the bottom, I have a big butt haha - but as you may have gathered I go to the gym a lot usually. When I need to lose weight (after those all inc holidays/covid etc) the one thing that really helps me more than anything is skipping. There are a lot of vids on youtube - but a 20min/30min skip burns like 700 calories & it's fun. There's so many jumps you can do and it really helps. Skipping is really a full body workout - it works your arms, legs, core, glutes, legs. Weights is really good, even if you can get some 3kg/4kg dumbells you can do so much & once you do weights you're continuously burning calories for the next couple of days!
If you said to your husband - part of the consult is a SA, and just said it casually like not make a big deal would he be ok? My hubby has his in a couple of weeks too - we don't make it a big thing in fact we can't stop giggling about it and I can't stop reminding him he needs to you know what in a cup and quickly get it to the hospital and I hope it doesn't leak in the car. Maybe turn it into a joke!!

How are you @Lynne425. I'm glad this whole process is over for you and you can now start a fresh! How are you and hubby feeling?

@KerryW87 I'm ok thank you. Got a bit of side boob pain (my usual PMS symptom today) but not too crazy. I've been super busy at work this week though to even notice my PMS symptoms but when I think about it., I have my usual back pain too. I just feel like when AF arrives I don't know how i'm going to react - I don't know if i'm going to be not surprised or if I'm just going to break down!!! Oh no i'm sorry AF arrived, but you can nearly start trying again!!!!
Oh no I hope the appointment goes ok - please let us know how it goes. Hopefully it is protocol - or if something isn't quite right....they can fix it!!!!

@jules5232 Yes i'm done with the pineapple core yet don't even know if works!! Thank you so much. I'm ok - 2 people in the fam announced pregnancies yesterday and I just said to hubby - when is it our turn. I didn't get upset about it I was more like yup as always it's so easy for everyone else! I have a couple PMS symptoms so not feeling too optimistic. Ahhh I hope your visit goes well today, please let us know how it goes. Fingers crossed you will get good news!!!!

Also guys I will need to start a new thread soon....can anyone cone up with any thread titles for us!!??

@Lynne425 so glad all went ok. Hope you have a restful weekend and that AF comes for you soon!

@jules5232 hope everything goes ok with your visit today. Good to hear the first scan went well :)

@KerryW87 I’m good thanks! On CD14 today so expected a positive OPK today but I guess it will come over the weekend. Has your partner been able to discuss his SA results yet? I would guess it’s just standard practice to chat through any results over the phone.

@Rose2108 the progesterone boosting info you found sounds really promising! Crossing fingers for you 🤞

Thank god it’s Friday! X

@Rose2108 that's really interesting about the progesterone improvements! Also, I don't think it's bruising to his manhood at all to suggest a SA. At least mine didnt seem to care. He was hesitant when I mentioned it but said he understood- and that we go through much worse.

@Lynne425 so good to hear you are doing good hun! I hope you are able to rest this weekend and AF doesn't take her time in getting back to regular for you.

@AKcheer are you done with the nasty pineapple core yet?? How are you feeling? Fingers crossed this is a good month for your! Doing okay over here, waiting very impatiently for my first visit tomorrow. Gone back and forth from having cramps, spotting and morning sickness to now nothing at all for 2 days. I know it can all be very normal and I'm trying to stay positive. I'm really hoping to get some good news or even just a status report so we can relax.
