Thank you so much @Lynne425, I have been thinking of you and I'm so glad you got your AF and a fresh start. I know what you mean about Christmas babies but my mum was born around Christmas and she's wonderful! All the December babies I know are such lovely people! Just see how it goes I suppose.

@AKcheer really not sure when to tell people. Think I'll see how the next few weeks go! Excited but seems too soon! We are supposed to be going to Kos in June for a wedding, not sure if it will happen. Other than that think we will stick to UK breaks for now. We've been jet Washing this morning and I'm going for a walk with my aunt now! We are gunna watch a film tonight and tomorrow have another online escape room with friends. What u upto? Xx

I did a digital test this morning which gave me a BFP so I'm going to stop testing now! It feels quite surreal, I feel quite nervous and a bit in denial but of course excited. I have been feeling quite sick for about a week now and just making sure I eat all the right things. Let's see what the next few weeks have in store for me!

@AKcheer it's just a waiting game really! They said it can take 3-8 weeks usually for AF to come back so fingers crossed it's just the normal 28 days 🤞🏻🤞🏻

However I can ovulate so could get pregnant before AF comes 🙈 but tbh we haven't even DTD since we found out and would rather wait until I get a proper AF so i know for certain my body is back to normal xx

Hope everyone is doing well - I'm turning my focus on looking after myself for the next few weeks until AF finally appears but got my BFN this morning 😊 (funny how the tables turned and I've been wanting to see this this month) so know the procedure worked last week and time to move on!!

Hubby and I were talking last night about starting to try again and he said to maybe hold off a few months as he said he didn't really want a baby at Xmas 🙈 but I told him that it took us 6 months to get the bfp the last time I don't really care when I would be due if it meant a pregnancy & healthy baby! Think he understood but will see what happens when AF arrives xx

@AKcheer I'm glad AF arrived and you feel relieved about that! Yep, one month closer to your BFP 👍 June was the first month we didn't use any birth control, so nine months. I feel like I learnt so much along the way about my cycle and conception etc, feels like a lifetime ago. Only started to track my cycle properly and opk in November. I'm going to walk into town and buy a proper test tomorrow to do on Saturday morning. Eek! Hoping the SA comes back relatively soon.

@BumbleB1 yeah this is quite a long thread so I don't blame you for getting a bit lost. We've had a few BFP's too. Thank you for your positive vibes. This is the first ttc for most of us I think.

I went for a walk with my mum today and it took all my strength not to blurt out I THINK IM PREGNANT!!! I just know she will get so so excited and I think it's too soon to do that!

@AKcheer hey, thank you! I’m okay thanks, felt a bit deflated this morning when I got the BFN but I’m trying to stay positive that my time will come. Cycle has been regular since coming off pill, about 33 days. The bleeding was 2 days early according to my app, and AF is usually on time or late. Had pains only on day one and normal red blood, but bleeding only lasted about 2 and a half days and the last day was very minimal and brown. AF typically lasts 5 days for me so I was hoping it might have been implantation. No other bleeding this month, test today was a week after bleeding ended so I think if it was then it would show positive by now 😕..

We’re all quite similar in terms of length of time trying then. Is this for your first? Maybe OPK is the way forward but I’ll see how I get on with BBT first, thermometer should arrive soon and I wake up pretty much same time every day so hopefully we get quite accurate readings.

@jules5232 hi! thank you 😊 I didn’t realise sleep would make a difference, or is it that you don’t wake up at the same time each day? I feel so new to all of this, I don’t really know what I’m doing 🙈 just hoping the tracking will give me more of an idea of when I ovulate, because at the moment I’m just relying on my app! OPKs seem to be a favourite here so I may need to try them next.

Is this your first time TTC? I’ve tried catching up on the thread but it’s hard to keep track of who is who and where they are with their journey!

@KerryW87 that's so frustrating you have to wait for any results until next week! We have all become experts at waiting but somehow it's never any easier.

@BumbleB1 welcome to the group!! I couldn't quite figure BBTs since my sleep is a mess so I'm not much help there, but I would suggest trying out OPKs soon. They are quite easy to learn and seeing the positives can help you learn a lot about your cycle.

@AKcheer I'm glad AF finally showed for you, such a pain when you see spotting and have to wait for her to finally come on. Waiting for test results feels like forever! I hope they come back with good news.

@Rose2108 I completely understand re the anxiety. I can tell you it will certainly last for at least a few more weeks but I imagine it's around for the long haul. Just try to avoid looking up any symptoms or questions you might think up... easier said than done, I know... Google will make the anxiety so much worse! I'm excited to see what your test this weekend will bring. Enjoy your walk and time away.

@KerryW87 sorry I haven't had that; I guess it could just be some tissue left from AF. I had this thing with my cervix for a while when I used to bleed after we DTD, it was some kind of.. erosion? It sorted itself out, this was a few years ago and the GP was relaxed about it when I had a check-up.

@8LPS I have been pretty good since doing the test! I just meant before that when I was so worried about the short luteal phase... I did go down a rabbit hole... I keep thinking, this is my first BFP so at least we know it can happen, even if it doesn't work out (fingers crossed it does though). Yeah I feel fine, quite tired but I think that is normal for me at the moment, fatigued with lockdown! Also quite hungry but again... normal lol.

Still no AF for me and a stronger line on the strip test... getting there slowly... I told my bestie and said I feel so anxious, she said that probably will last about 18 years haha! I have tomorrow off work which will be nice, going to sort out some bits in the house and go for a long walk. I am so bored WFH I get so distracted... whoops.

Hi girls, hope you don’t mind me tagging along.. I posted about potential implantation bleeding or maybe MC and @Rose2108 kindly responded with some advice and told me about this supportive group!

I’m 25 and this is my 5th month of TTC for baby no.1. No luck so far but had a strange bleed this month which I thought could be implantation but tests are BFN. I haven’t been using OPKs or tracking BBT but have just ordered a thermometer so will try BBT and see if that helps. Coming up to my next fertile window next week according to my app. so still trying to stay optimistic 😊

@ JLP256 - yes I will definitely let you know if there’s anything I notice about Conceive Plus! It’s worth a try even though they’re expensive seeing as the other two types I’ve tried haven’t helped much. Was thinking to just buy folic acid tablets as that’s what the NHS ensure says is all we need, and I take cold liver oil/vitamin D anyway.. but want to give Conceive Plus a go.
That’s really interesting that your cycles were a week longer on both separate occasions that you took Pregnacare?! Could be coincidence, but even though our bodies aren’t doing what we want them to do right now, they have a funny way of also being like clockwork sometimes? Lol..
Good luck with the DTD - how do you normally manage the TWW? Are you usually able to take it easy?

@Rose2108 - I’m so excited for you! I know it’s easy for me to say but try to stay away from all the articles and Dr Google telling you all about MCs. It’s just going to freak you out. That’sa good plan to take it easy and easy your veg! How are you feeling in yourself??
Ahh I know, summer can’t come quick enough! Loving how the days are getting longer and longer, and love that it’s still light when I finish work for the day too. Finally ordered some garden furniture so it’s something other than TTC to look forward to! It’s hard to get out of my baby-making head sometimes!
I tried to look up Nelly London and found two that might be her but couldn’t see any photos of her bakes- I probably wasn’t looking hard enough! Baking will be something nice and relaxing for you to do ☺️

@AKcheer - I’m so sorry I don’t know what’s going on with your AF - when it happened to me, I didn’t know but looking back now, I blame my tablets. it’s sounding odd but as Kerry said, I wonder if you could have tested a bit early?
Are you ok? Any movement from AF at all? I wish it could be a simple - yes you’re pregnant or no you’re not. All these different weird things that happen really just throw us off and make us panic!

Sorry to subject change guys...just quickly if anyone has advice! Has anyone had pink EWCM? I'm only CD9 so a good 3/4 days before ovulation for me usually. I also hardly EVER notice CM (which is why I use Preseed because I'm scared I don't get any). This was really stretchy and would be clear if it weren't...pink? 😂🙃 Is this normal I wonder or if it's blood tinged does it mean something is up. I had a red bleed on CD10 last cycle too, wonder what the hell is going on with me! 🤦🏻‍♀️

@KerryW87 - omg if something as tiny as dropping the thermometer didn’t affect the temp, I’d be way more reliable with doing it! Like this morning, I woke up at 5am and I thought I’d be able to get back to sleep, but I couldn’t. So obviously the longer I was awake, I couldn’t take my temp at all because I think you’re supposed to take it as soon as you wake up..? Which is annoying cus I’m meant to be ovulating any day now.
Ah thanks for your opinion! The reviews on Conceive Plus look too good to be true, and they are VERY expensive!!! But having been at this for nearly a year, I’ll give it a go.
I’m ok thank you, how are you? I got a peak on my OPK yesterday morning, I might be ovulating today or tomorrow so we DTD yesterday afternoon and again tonight. Don’t normally DTD 2 days in a row but I really don’t want to miss any chances. I feel like me and DH should have been DTD more over the last few days but we haven’t at all, apart from yesterday. So I might’ve messed up our chances this month unless yesterday or tonight’s activities help lol! 🙈

@Rose2108 I really am enjoying being back! So lovely to see all the kids again. It's stressful, though as my two are older and so schools for their age group aren't back yet so homeschooling is definitely going to take a hit since my partner works full time. Just got to get on with it and hope all schools are back soon! 🤞

I'm sure by the weekend it will be a blazing BFP! 💕🎉

So I got my day 21 bloods done...now on CD9 and they're only just back, and then when I phoned they said they couldn't just give me them because I needed a doctors appointment for the doctor to go over them....no appointments until a week tomorrow. IDEAL 😂🙃 So that's annoying but hey ho, will just need to wait...at least we're all pros at that here 😂

@AKcheer I've been there, been late a fair few times with spotting. It usually arrives in its own time. So dissapointing when you get the stark white test 😩 I hope either way something happens soon, limbo is awful.

DH and I are sort of quietly excited and optimistic but not yet able to accept it is true! I think a proper test at the weekend will do the trick. For now I'm just gunna take it easy, eat my veg and hope it sticks. We DTD every other day all month basically. Used conceive plus on the key days. I laid still for half an hour after with a pillow under my waist xxx

Ladies thank you all so much for your positive vibes and lovely messages! I am trying not to get too excited... I was wide awake at 3am thinking about all the things I have read saying short luteal phase has higher risk of MC... God it is a never ending stress isn't it. I did another strip test this morning, it definitely has a slightly darker line on it compared to yesterday. I am going to try and not test again until the weekend as I will be 14dpo then and hopefully I will get a certain result!

@KerryW87 that is so lovely, I said to my husband "I'm going to tell the girls" and he thinks I mean my "real life" friends but I mean you lot haha. You are my friends !! OMG back to a bit of normality for you then... are you enjoying being back at work? Also, I was always doing that with my thermometer lol. I just then would rest for maybe 5 mins and take it, checking my heart rate on my fitbit has gone back to resting. It's not an exact science but roughly, over some months, it is worth it.

@8LPS I haven't done the slutty ones but I do keep looking at them! I follow Nelly London on instagram and she always does her bakes on Sunday which then inspires me to do them! I keep looking out the window thinking I can't wait for summer days outside... It's so close I can smell it!

@8LPS I’m just taking wellwoman original at the moment because I took them without any problems before TTC and they have the right amount of folic acid/vitamin D etc. I’ve taken Seven Seas too which were fine for me! Also took Pregnacare in August and November and both times my cycles were nearly a week longer than normal...could’ve been a coincidence though I guess?! Not tried Conceive Plus though, let us know how you get on!

Still no positive OPK for me, CD19. Annoyingly started OPKs (the CB ones) a little early this month just in case and of course have now run out haha. I’ll assume O day is this week some time and will try and DTD every other day or so!

@AKcheer Thanks! I'm honestly so relieved about it. Obviously very anxious for the urologist appointment so hopefully the issue he does have can be fixed but glad it's not a really major problem! CD9 today so just entering the window again...hopes are low but we're approaching when we conceived last year and a part of me really wants to be pregnant before that to make it easier...doubtful though 😂

@8lps Haha yeah I am out of my depth with temping! Today I woke up an hour earlier than my alarm, dropped my thermometer and it rolled under the bed so had to get up to pick it up and then realised that would probably set my temp out of whack so didn't even bother doing it. It is STRESSFUL 😂 How are you? I've read good things about the Conceive Plus tablets actually! That's awful the other ones were having that effect! 😩 Definitely worth switching it up I'd say!

@Rose2108 Still so buzzing about your test last night! Told my partner as he was sitting beside me and then thought how funny it is that we've all never met and now even my partner knows that "Rose off the forum got a positive" 😂. Delighted for you 💕

@Rose2108 Ahh, I can definitely see that line!! I had the exact same spotting for dayss before I finally got a test to take after AF didn't show. Try in the am and this weekend with a proper test and let us know how you get on.

@Rose2108 That is not a faint line, mine were like that last year just a day before my period was due! So did your bleeding only last a day then? Ahh I'd jumped on to catch up on everything because the past two days have been hectic and so glad I did! 💕 Congratulations, I'm delighted for you! xx
