Morning Ladies. It;s amazing how much this all can affect our moods isn't it. We can all feel sorry for ourselves together!!
@AKcheer I'm okay, I think I spoke too soon as I mentioned about needing to DTD today and my husband seemed a bit deflated and said haven't we done enough! Lol. I do actually feel for them, it is alot of pressure. Sorry you feel rubbish, hopefully you'll get to DTD asap!
@Kirby173 I relate so much to this, I completely understand the confusion and frustration. That sounds so uncomfortable, I defo think push for the exam and I really hope they take it seriously. I have come to realise that I do not start my AF on the day I think, and it is actually classed as spotting because I am so light. So I should be counting AF from the day I properly bleed which throws all my logic out the window.
Ugh well as an update for me. I have now had 4 flashing smileys (Fri, Sat, Sun, Mon). According to my app and my CM, I ovulated Sunday. But according to my temp and the CB OPK's, I haven't yet (today is Monday, for anyone catching up!). My CM is now like thick and white, but the OPK should have shown the peak, static smiley on Saturday or Sunday :( I am now so confused. Hoping we can DTD today, although have plans after work so it will be a rush job which never seems to work for us.
I have been doing a bit of investigation and I think I have a short luteal phase issue. Some months my cycle is so short, AF starts about 8 or 9 days after ovulation. As I am learning a lot more about this process, I am convinced that in September (for a number of reasons) I had a chemical pregnancy due to the short luteal phase issue.
So feeling a bit bleurgh and emotional today. Things that do not help:
- It's Monday!
- My group of friends - who all have babies except me - sending over 200 whatsapps last night about all things baby. F*ing relentless.
- CB OPK confusion making me feel like I am back to square one
- That awkward feeling of knowing we need to have a scheduled DTD sesh in between work and going out. Dread these ones.
It's okay to feel sorry for ourselves every now and then x
