Thin faint positive line? or false positive?

Hi Everyone,

My partner and I have been trying for 8 months now. Yesterday morning I took a clear blue pregnancy test on CD25. My cycle is usually 27/28 days.

When i first took the test it was negative, i waited 5 mins and it was still negative so i put it to one side. Then in the afternoon i looked at it again and saw a thin faint blue positive line. So I took another test i had which was just a cheap one and we can't work out if it looks like it has a faint positive line on that test too?

Has anyone had this before and can anyone shed any light on if these tests look like positives? Don't want to get excited yet but finding it hard not too.

I would say yes looks positive to me I use the exact same tests and mine look like that and I'm now 10 weeks! Maybe try again in a couple day xx

I would say your cheapie test looks positive. The clearblue is also positive but as you've looked at it so far outside of the timeframe you can't go by that. If I were you I would get another test - an FRER is likely to give you a good clear line with the positive you have on the ic - and then you'll know for sure. Fingers crossed for you, it's looking good, but I would want to test again.
