Anyone else act like an errant child during the TWW by pretending you’re not feeling very real symptoms because you’ve symptom spotted before and have been let down by the red she-devil herself?

I had the worst cramps yesterday and now my back is sore but I’m pretending I don’t feel it and not using hot water bottles/paracetamol because I tested this morning (stupid b I am) and got a BFN.

Frustrated, angry, downright stubborn, stupid ... anyone else wanna join the crazy b club? Hmm

YAY!! fingers crossed it gets darker. How weird, I've had the same problem alll day. I'm going to stop testing, don't think I realised how much I wanted this. Hope you're okay. xx

So update! I took a clear blue test about 20 mins ago and I swear I can see the faintest blue line when I look at it closely. I can’t get it to show up in a photo but I can see it. I don’t know if my mind/eyes are playing tricks on me. 😞

Im due between 14-16 too. I'll be the same, honestly don't feel any different tbh. The only thing that is making me question if I am is I've got sore nipples and I'm having crazy dreams?? Almost every-night for the past 3 days I've dreamt I'm pregnant but the dreams themselves are so vivid and just crazy!

I’m due around 15th/16th, I just wish AF would come already so my hopes aren’t up.

@ToadstoolFairy I've done a few the past mornings and BFN but I done two like an hour ago and the lines both came up but disappeared?....So currently holding in a pee and will do another one in a few hours.

HEYY!!! You're not out yet! I've literally been reading loads that people don't get BFP until wayyyy after their period is due. How are you feeling and when is AF due??

@ToadstoolFairy I use the digital OPK kits so the smiley things. I've written it all down and kept a diary, I don't temp or anything but Tbh we've been DTD regular throughout as I'm really new to everything so it's all a bit exciting right now.

I'm 23CD and due around about the 14th or 16th, unsure because the last few cycles have been between 28-30. Mine will be exactly the same, he thinks I'm 'obviously pregnant' because we haven't been using protection, I think he'll be in for a shock if it takes as long as I think it will but in a way, I want his theory lol.

Honestly, if you know there's a chance it could ruin your day or mood. Maybe hold off? because I've read so much about people not getting a BFP until a few days after their missed period.

Would love to hear updates from you though!. I've been the same with Youtube and google! I've had heartburn all day, which isn't like me at all. Also had a ache or pain in my lower stomach on the right-hand side.

What CD are you and when is AF due? Oh my godddd I get it about the OH thing. I was feeling sorry for myself after the 2x BFNs and just wanted a moan (sure you know how it is) and he was like “I’m sorry” wanders into the back room for the PS4- 🙃

My gut is telling me not to test again because I get so upset but I guarantee I’ll spend the day on YouTube and forums like this googling “If I have sore foot does it mean I’m pregnant?” 😂 Horrendous.

This is the first month for me but I deleted all the apps as same as you they were all telling me different. Just using Clearblue digital ATM. I'm even thinking ditching that next month.

I've been on a mini-break the past 5 days but honestly, I was giving myself a constant headache before I went and now I'm home I've done nothing but live on the forum or google.

I just want an answer. Today has been the longest day ever. ALSO feeling annoyed that my OH doesn't have these worries or obsessions, they get it so easy!!

Fingers crossed! I only ever get cramps a day before AF but these past few days have been a weird one. What is your gut telling you? to test or not to test. I mean it doesn't hurttt to know right? I don't think I'd be guttted if I got a BFN I know I'd be extremely lucky to catch with this being my first month so that's what I'm telling myself.

@KSP8273 oooooh that’s really positive isn’t it? I’m honestly the worst person to talk to to be talked out of doing anything - do all the tests if it makes you happy! 😂

According to my Flo app I’m 23 and Clue I’m 22. Still fairly new to this tracking malarkey - I’ve tracked my periods all year but nearly every app I use tells me a different date.

I wish I could just switch off my mind for the two weeks. 😫 Do you ever just wish AF would come so you could try again?

That being said, I have had a very strange day. Cramps all day, lower back pain etc. I have Ulcerative Colitis (two years in remission) so AF always causing a lot of cramping/back ache/trips to the loo. AF is due in 6 days so idk whether to be good and not test at all or to say ‘stuff it’ and have a big old wee party.

@ToadstoolFairy Tooo tempting. I'm not even telling myself I'll hold out, I know I'll test again tomorrow LOL. I've stocked up and now thinking 'Fuck it, I'll buy more' ALSO read that you can get a positive OPK if your pregnant? so I've done that and the test line was the darkest I've ever seen it. AGAIN just my mind working overtime as I know you can get surges before AF but I'm still a week away from that..

How far in on your cycle are you?

It’s so tempting isn’t it? And there’s literally no logic to it. Like you know it’s too early but then you go ahead and do it anyway. For example I got a BFN this morning with an internet cheapie ...

Me: Ah well. It is quite early after all. I promise I’ll wait until AF is due to test again.

Also me: Well I’m in Superdrug anyway, it would be rude not to buy another four tests, take one as soon as I get home and then inevitably get upset when it’s negative again.

Can I join?? Haha I'm 8DPO and I've already used two cheapies today!! I think that qualifies me as pretty insane since it's farrrr too early LOL. Also laughed far too hard at your 'better buy a pram'.

@Juno231 Honestly 🤦🏻‍♀️ I bought a baby grow this month to surprise my OH and I can see me getting so pissy I just shove it on one of the cats.

Trying to think of the positives ... if no BFP this month then ALL the wine and Camembert at Christmas!!

@ToadstoolFairy haha I have an announcement card and baby gro from March I haven't gotten to use yet! I was so convinced that was the month. Don't even know where they are anymore lol.

Also - every TWW I think about what the due date would be and there's inevitably something going on that would make a BFP perfect. Eg. OH's birthday, our anniversary, my birthday, a Christmas announcement etc. Absolutely mad Grin

It’s so hard isn’t it. Every slight twinge I’m like ‘o shit better buy a pram.’

I’ve had stabbing/stitchy pains all afternoon now and I’m pretty damn miserable.

Ha me too! I've been tracking for a year now so have had every symptom under the sun (including a nose bleed! That I never ever get otherwise!). I therefore try to ignore them or try to convince myself it doesn't mean anything but inevitably get my hopes up each TTW regardless. Because what if!
