Praying for a December conception

Who else is praying to conceive this month?
I’m on CD 1 so I’m praying I conceive this month. Had copper coil removed just over a month ago now, and we avoided conceiving last month as hubby didn’t want an August baby (he’s an aug bub himself)
I’ve always been regular with my cycle and regular with ovulation (continued tracking while on coil) so hoping we get lucky 🤞🏼

Dreamer30 · 06/12/2020 17:52

@ilookatthefloor @rumples hope it goes in quick for you ladies and you can get to dtd lol

Rumples · 06/12/2020 17:41

@Dreamer30 @Katiecorn not long for you both to wait 🤞

ILookAtTheFloor · 06/12/2020 17:37

I'm waiting to ov, on cd6 here 👍 normally ov around cd12 so will start the opks in a couple of days. I've been taking Ubiquinol for a week now, was taking Co enzyme q10 before but I've upgraded 😁 also have the Ferti Lilly Cup to try 😂

Katiecorn · 06/12/2020 17:12

Hope i am ok to join currently 8 dpo. Yesterday i noticed i had a snotty/gummy like CM that was clear with white streaks which i found unusual for me as its normally just the standard creamy white CM. Sorry for TMI, trying not to get my hopes up but just a bit confused by it haha. 5days til AF is due so 🤞 to everyone for this month x

Dreamer30 · 06/12/2020 17:11

I'm 7dpo so half way through the tww, I've had cramp every day since od and it's getting worse by the day, keep thinking af is coming. Just wish time would hurry up so I can test lol

Rumples · 06/12/2020 17:07

How is everyone getting on?

I'm CD14 and I feel like this month is going so slow. Still waiting to get a peak opk!

DOB78 · 03/12/2020 15:31

@Leah2501 shes never been around me when I was pregnant with my other 2, now 16 and 20. So I'm hopeful shes picking up on something that or shes as potty as I am!!
@squidglet Hahaha I couldn't help it the website just popped up and I got over involved in the whole thing!!! I'm sorry to hear that you feel like this I hated my ex Sis in Law for the majority of the 25yrs she was in my life. Made for interesting family get togethers though😃

Squidglet · 03/12/2020 15:05

Thanks for the warm welcomes.

@Leah2501 also not using temps... YET! Ha ha.

@DOB78 I have not picked out all of my imaginary child's imaginary furniture yet but I am already visualising imaginary situations where I parade bump or baby around. The nice thing is that my hair looks fantastic in all of these fantasies.

(Cut to real life. Doh.)

Um, not sure if this is the right place to talk about this but, I am eldest (now early 30s) and always been very career minded. Been planning this new phase of my life for... Oh, I don't know, best part of a decade. Been looking forward to TTC all of 2020. (Waiting due to work commitments and moving house!)

Last year, my "baby brother" (8 years my junior) met a new lady and they announced pregnancy at my birthday "party" (socially distanced) this summer. They were 4 weeks at that point. Since then it's been a whirlwind and I just want to bury my head in the sand.

I'm not totally fond of his gf, I'll admit. (We're polar opposites.) But the anger I'm feeling is so unlike me. I feel robbed and cheated and... jealous... and sad. Is this normal? Have I turned into a demon at the mere thought of becoming pregnant? Has anyone else felt like this?

God, I feel so horrible. Nice to say it though. Anonymity is priceless right now...

Leah2501 · 03/12/2020 14:02

Welcome @Squidglet !
We’re so similar! I’m definitely a control freak too. I’m tracking in the form of ovulation sticks only. I’m not patient enough to do temps, I think I’d get annoyed watching the temp fall.

@DOB78 When I was pregnant with my first child my dog noticed first. I noticed she wouldn’t leave me alone and get laying her hair on my stomach - she’d never done it previously. All made sense when I had my BFP.

@squidglet. I love you little reveal thats awesome!!! Its so difficult not to think of the "whats ifs" isn't it. I've already picked out a pram and nursery furnitureiys just sitting in my basket waiting........
I love how organised you are!!! I'm trying not to track too much or I think I would absolutely crack up

Squidglet · 03/12/2020 13:40

Hello! This is my first ever post on Mumsnet. :)

Leah2501, we are so same. I also had copper coil out 1 month ago. Last month we were "care free" (read: careless) on 3 occasions and I was only mildly disappointed to see just 1 blue line. Also because I am August baby and having to share my birthday with my Mum every year is not something I want to repeat for my little'un.

I'm a control freak, an engineer and maths & stats graduate... so naturally, I'm adopting a graphs-and-charts approach from day one. Not for any reason other than to give my obsessive personality that feeling of control. Everything is project for me - I'm the lady that writes lists of lists.

Desperate to catch this month and it's only month 1. Is it normal that I'm thinking about it at least once every minute? I keep drifting away during conference calls....

Does anyone else already have a "note" saved on their phone of baby names? I'm so ashamed of this little reveal.

DOB78 · 03/12/2020 13:23

@Mamamoonbeam I seem to be having every symptom under the sun but could be wishful thinking.
My dog has been really weird the last few days too usually shes all for OH but the last 3 days shes following me around and keeps lying across my stomach or in between my legs if I sit down????
I'm still hoping for a BFP but have to just wait till at least Monday if AF doesn't show Sunday.
How's things with you?

Leah2501 · 03/12/2020 12:46

Hi to everyone else who has joined! Desperately waiting for AF to finish so we can get the baby making going 😆

@DOB78 thank you _ fingers crossed for you too! How's the symptom spotting going?

Chica1990 · 03/12/2020 11:46

@bitheby I’m so sorry, I know the feeling

DOB78 · 03/12/2020 10:20

@Mammoonbeam, I hope this is your month xx

MamaMoonbeam · 03/12/2020 08:57

Me. I had a chemical last month with a heavier than normal af, at the normal time. Have had spotting on and off since then and hoping that doesn't effect ttc this month. 2 days until predicted ovulation.
Good luck everyone xx

DOB78 · 03/12/2020 01:55

Hi, am I alright to join. I'm currently 11dpo and I'm driving myself nuts. Symptoms spotting like mad took a test 7dpo BFN, no surprise. Just finding it so confusing every twinge, cramps or pain I'm googling if that's a sign of pregnancy. Some days I'm certain I'm going to get my Christmas BFP and other days I just know AF is gonna show her big ugly head........It doesn't help that most of the signs are the same as PMS either.
Fingers crossed for you all x

lovescaca · 03/12/2020 00:54

Me, 4dpo 🤞🏼

bitheby · 03/12/2020 00:43

I'm losing hope and have been crying all evening. I don't think I can type much more than that at the moment.

KSP8273 · 01/12/2020 23:34

@arc91 Hi, Sorry to hear that, cannot imagine how it must have been for you. I hope you get your Christmas miracle :)

arc91 · 01/12/2020 23:08

Hi ladies, hope you don’t mind me joining! Currently ttc for our first baby after losing our first pregnancy this year. We caught first month of trying, found out at early scan at 7.5 weeks end of July that it wouldn’t work out, waited for natural miscarriage but ended up having ERPC mid September, only just had my first period and think I’m due to ovulate following this on the next few days! Would love a December BFP like you all, wishing you all the best and praying for a Christmas miracle 🙏🏼🤞🏼🌈✨

beckyBP · 01/12/2020 22:48

Me 🙋🏼‍♀️ think I'm about 2/3 dpo of cycle 6 TTC.

I'm SO hopeful this is our month. I've already decided if it is I'm not going to tell my fiancé. I'm going to buy a baby grow and wrap it with the test as a present. I KNOW that's getting ahead of myself but.. positive mindset right??

Whostoblame · 01/12/2020 18:39

Me! I'm 2dpo I think (positive OPK last week and apps all say ovulated over the weekend) and I've convinced myself I've got symptoms, low heavy feeling, almost crampy. Fingers crossed for everyone x
